I love animals but I am allergic to cats so I will need to know about cats before hand. My schedule is available daily from 7-2pm or after 5pm most days. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, my mom would baby sit neighbor’s dog all throughout my childhood, so I learned how to care for them from an early age. I’ve had an xl yellow lab for 8 years named Hiro. He is my whole world. I am especially skilled in taking care of large and xl dogs. Big dogs do not phase me, in fact I love them! I am a college student, but I have a ton of free time. I am free almost every weekend and most week days. My time is very flexible. Very importantly, on each and every occasion we've had her watch Ollie, she is punctual (often a few minutes early!), and her communication to lock in a date, as well as communication and great photos while she is with our dog is exactly what we want. Our dog quickly grew attached to her and we look forward to having Amanda dog-sit whenever we are in the area.
Our GSD has megaesophagus. In the 8 years we have had him we have never left him with anyone for a vacation. We started RV’ing because we could have him with us at all times. This trip was to California and we could not take him. We thought we had him secured at a doggie sanctuary but then was told he was too much for them to handle but to check out Rover. This situation left us in a last minute scramble for sure. I got on and immediately messaged a few people and thankfully one of them referred us to Wendy! She is tiny but mighty, and willing to take it all on with enthusiasm and love! .We left her a 4 page agenda including to-do’s for our other furry family members including a rabbit, 3 cats, hamster, lots of fish and a bearded dragon too. Needless to say we were so nervous because it’s a lot to ask but she did it all for 12 days AND took pics for us, giving us feedback everyday.
