“We highly recommend Lauren to watch your fur baby. We initially reached out to Lauren to see if she could watch our sweet old girl (19 y.o. dog); she responded within 15 minutes confirming that she was available. A few days before, Lauren stopped by our apartment to receive our key and meet our pup. She brought a notebook to write down all instructions / important notes. Her demeaning was soft and positive, and already we knew she was a great fit. On the day of our leave, Lauren was in regular correspondence about her timing and about activities with our girl. She took a few picture updates. Everything went very smooth. She clearly had no problem watching our elderly dog. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to watch your loved one fur pup, elderly or otherwise.”

My pooch has seizures, so I have dealt with this quite a bit. Can administer medicines as well.

About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.

“Chris ( Chappy) is amazing. We have two giant (120 and 150 lbs), complicated dogs—one of whom can be aggressive. Plus seizures. This is not an easy situation and we have rejected most sitters. Chappy had the right experience and feel to handle them both. He is also extremely conscientious. He is an experienced dog handler and we are relieved to have found him.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have fostered and cared for dozens of senior dogs at Muttville in SF. I also just said goodbye toy wonderful foster fail 2 Chainz who crossed the rainbow bridge in November. I live close to a lovely park with a great community of dog walkers. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs (17 years) and pit bulls. I work from home so all dogs get constant attention! I prioritize time outside and walks. I love making dogs feel as safe and comfortable adjusting to a new schedule and location! I have a pretty standard feeding and walk schedule. I've fostered quite a bit and have lots of experience helping dogs feel welcome, calm, loved and safe in their new surroundings.

If your fur child needs a walk , let's go , need them to get their energy out? I can help. I have strollers , dog carriers and always check my surroundings. Going on vacation and cant take babies? I will spoil them until you return. I have been rescuing animals since I was little and to this day continue to do so when I can. I had a dog that had seizures, so I am very aware of what to look for and what to do. I will send updates so you know your fur child is relaxed , spoiled and loved. I am a stay at home pet mom. I am available to give them all the love , care & attention they need while your away at work or they need an extra walk. Maybe you want to leave town for the day? Im here to help with your fur child. I have always made sure I am attentive to my surroundings and what the fur babies may pickup off the floor. I carry extra leashes just in case we need them. My fur babies have 3 dog beds but are always allowed on my bed and sofa. They have a ball pit full of toys , and when I need to leave for a moment babygates and dog fence it is.

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. As a person who values communication, I provide regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

“I met Zach before we left on vacation, and I felt totally comfortable knowing that he would take great care of Beca, Jett and our home while we were away. Unfortunately for Zach, Beca had an upset stomach just before we left; yet he was not phased and gave us initial daily reports to inform us of her progress. Then, we had an unexpected issue with our new "smart" water system which cut the water off to the house on occasion. We let Zach know how to turn on the water again. The issue has since been resolved. Zach sent picture of the dogs on their walk or while at the dog park. On the last day, he checked in to see what else might need doing before we returned. Not only did he wash the sheets etc., but her remade his bed. I would ask Zach to sit for us in a heart beat and highly recommend him.”
