I grew up on a small farm, caring for animals from dogs to pigs to horses. From a young age my parents stressed the work and responsibility required for happy and healthy animals, so their care was a big part of my childhood. As a kid I spent my time volunteering and our local animal shelter and clinic, and assisting with the whelping and training of dogs for Canine Companions for Independence. I recently graduated with a Bachelors in Animal Science at UH Manoa, and worked for a vet clinic/boarding facility while attending. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and have lots of experience with administering medications, training, and of course having fun and giving lots of love!
