“Lynnette is one of the best I've seen with animals. My dog Mavis is a retired service dog. She is temperamental and slow to warm to people. Lynnette is the first person I've seen Mavis interact with who could sit with and pet her, in the first 5 minutes. Mavis was so at home with Lynnette and tried to guard Lynnette when I arrived to bring her home. Lynnette played, walked, and relaxed with Mavis. She sent me updates, pictures, and videos of Mavis having a wonderful vacation. She has an enclosed yard that allows dogs to safely explore outside. I highly recommend Lynnette!”

About: I've taken care of animals ever since I can remember, and I am grateful to have been raised around cats and dogs. It has shaped who I am as a person. I have rescued many dogs and cats (or maybe they chose me), and I have experience with training, administering medication, young pets, old pets - all of it. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I am likely the most detail-oriented person I know, and this applies to caring for my pets, as well as yours. Not only do I love my pets, but I love yours too - I love all animals. As a pet parent myself, I trust myself to do this job more than I trust anyone. I can do whatever you need me to do to reassure you that your animals are in the best of hands. I just graduated from grad school and have a LOT of free time! This is great for me, because I love animals and am excited to spend my time with them! I understand the level of trust required when leaving your pets with someone. I have cared for dogs and cats (and a few other animals!) ever since I was a child. I genuinely LOVE animals. Currently, I have two rescue Shar-Pei (the wrinkly-faced dogs), and they are the loves of my life. My approach to caring for my dogs is exactly how I would care for your animals. While your fur children are in my care, they are treated with love and respect, and care instructions will be honored to the T (no matter how long or extensive). I think the instructions I leave for our sitter are ~3 pages long, so I won't judge! I have experience with young animals and the elderly, and have administered medications for both dogs and cats. I would describe myself as a very vigilant pet parent, meaning I take pride in my awareness. For example, when walking my dogs, I always put safety first, watch for cars and other animals, and stay aware of my surroundings. I pay attention. I'm the kind of person who often checks the perimeter of my fenced yard, has multiple dog cameras, makes sure there are no ways out, and double-checks the gate locks. I know it might sound like I'm a helicopter parent, and that might just be a fact. Shar Peis are a stubborn (and amazing) breed of dog, but they notoriously require this level of attention, so I am going to credit my sweet dogs for training me to be the ultimate caretaker. Fun fact: I've had Shar Pei for the past 20 years! I'm here to meet your animals where they are when we are together - if they want to hang out, cuddle, play, and be goofy, great! But if they just want to chill on their own, I will respect their space.

I received a glowing review from a reference and felt comfortable leaving my home and pets in her care. Elika was conscientious and ensured my home was just as I left it. She even washed and changed the sheets after her stay. My dog was relaxed around her and my cat was particularly affectionate as Elika was preparing to leave, so I'm sure they both will be happy to see her again in the future.”

About: Since I was a child I have taken care of the family dog. They are like family to me. I have worked at a dog spa since May of 2025 so that I have experience on handling dogs. I can bathe your dogs and brush them but not groom them. I love animals like family. I also take care of my sister’s golden retriever when she’s away on trips. I work Tuesdays-Saturdays from 10am-6:15pm so on my work days I can house sit your pets, take them for walks and take care of them after work and my days off I’m available anytime. I have a cat at home who is spoiled. Every day she gets groomed, loved and cuddled with. She couldn’t be more happier. I even have a filtered water fountain for my car to drink out of I clean every two weeks. I enjoy cleaning her food bowl every morning and give her dental treats to make her gums and teeth healthy. When it comes to clients pets I’d do the same as if they were my own pet very loved and spoiled. When I had my family dog she was very loved and spoiled as well. Every day do walk her, brush her, feed her and cuddle with her making the happiest dog she can be. All animals I treat equally.

About: I have around five years of practical experience in providing dependable care for pets belonging to friends and family members. My pet experience includes walking, bathing, arranging meal times and treat routines, as well as enjoying quality time with them while their owners are away, sometimes for weeks at a time. When I first meet a cat or dog, I take the time to understand the animal's temperament, checking for any signs of anxiety or specific likes and dislikes. About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.
