About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. About: I have loved animals like family as long as I can remember. And feel I have a special connection with them and them with me because of my calm and centered energy. Animals communicate and respond through peoples energy and I feel its how they know to feel safe. I care for dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, lizards etc. And am happy to answer any questions on all. I typically make morning and evening rounds and unless I am out of town I am available 7 days a week. About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.

About: I have experience caring for and walking my family and friends’ dogs for 10 years. I have experience with reactive dogs. I understand that every dog is unique and that each dog has different needs. I am familiar with dog CPR. I am no stranger to administering medication to dogs. I am free after 4pm on Monday-Friday. On weekends I am free from 7am-9pm. If needed, we can arrange earlier or later appointment times. Thanks! I can stop by at your home to check in on your furry friend(s) and make sure that they have plenty of food and water in their bowls, as well as give them ample time to go to the bathroom prior to completing the check in. I can provide 30 min-1 hour walks, or stimulate/play with your dog(s) for 30 min-1 hour in the safety of your home yard or nearby dog park.

About: I’m the lady who crosses the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all dogs, but big dogs have my heart. I confess, I’m also the lady that will remember your dog’s name, age and origins, but perhaps not always your name. Although I have the confidence and experience to befriend your big dogs, that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t love our smaller friends, as well. Big and small, I love them all❣️ I’ve been responsible for animals most of my life. Chiefly, I’ve had the privilege to care and own big dogs. Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent. I have free nights and 3-day weekends. I enjoy a lot of free time that I would like to fulfill with dogs. I have a secured, fenced yard. I can also kennel your pets as well. About: I’ve been around animals all my life. I’ve always had a dog or a cat growing up. I’ve dog sat for my aunt when she on vacation traveling since I was 18 years old. She had dogs from Dalmatians to mawltises to hound dogs and boarding collies. I’ve had rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs and cats growing up. I’ve even taken care of birds and reptiles. I just love animals and I love taking care of them. I feel if the world lived life more like a dog the world would be a way better place. I’m a store manager for shell gas station so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and what hours I want to work. But I mainly work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and four hours on the weekend. I have a dog door with a fenced in yard as well as garage with a dog door in it so i can separate if need be. I also have a aunt that live less than five minutes away that can always drop by and check on them as well. I live in a very safe area in an HOA community with a park around the Corner. Quiet street, with very little bother. I have a fence in yard with dog door, garage and gates. I have a dog super friendly as well as two cats super friendly. I do have the ability to keep cats separated as I have an up stairs room I can keep them in or the garage. But all my pets are friendly and good with other animals.

About: I have taken care of two owners pets, house sitting for over two years. They were out of town for a week or more and I would stay at there house, take care of their dog(s) by feeding, taking walks and playing with them. It has been a few years since I have done this. I have also owned two dogs, who have since passed. I have grown up with all kinds of pets, including dogs, chickens, rabbits and cats. Please not, I do work full time at Kaiser in Santa Rosa, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. I also do volunteer work every other Saturday from 10am-2pm. I would be able to take my lunch anytime and make sure to check on animals (if in Santa Rosa area). I am more than happy to send updates and pictures on any pets that I care for. I can’t take care of pets in my home unfortunately , as I live with my father and he is very allergic to animals. But I will make sure that your pets are cared for and get the attention they need. I’ve always had dogs and cats. I have cared for my coworkers dogs and would house sit at the same time, when they went out of town.
