About: I've grown up taking care of both cats and dogs. I love animals and look forward to helping you care your your precious pets. In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I live in Guerneville, but frequently go to Sebastopol throughout the week. So mainly looking to work for ones in these areas. But open to adventuring in to further surrounding areas if its a good fit for us both! Currently I am not able to board pets in my home because I am renting. But I would be happy to stop by and spend time with your pets whenever is needed!

About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, reptiles (mainly snakes), chickens, ducks, rodents (rats, mice, hamster), rabbits, sheep, goats, birds, etc! I love connecting with each animal in their unique ways, I truly believe we have a lot to learn from these compassionate beings. It's my pleasure to make them feel safe, loved, well fed and fully exercised! I don't have a lot of experience with very old animals but I'm willing to learn what their specific and special needs are. I have had older dogs in my life so I do have a basic grasp on their needs but everyone is unique! I mostly work remote from home with the occasional pop into the warehouse once or twice a week. My schedule can be pretty flexible for the most part! I'll gladly learn the typical schedule you have with your pet so that they feel their care is secure and stable. Time of feeding, length of walk, treats, etc. Just let me know and I'll do my best to make you both feel considered and cared for. I'm not currently doing doggy day care or boarding. Eventually I will offer that service again! I might be open to it on a case by case basis.

About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child, but really became a “dog person“ when I adopted my first dog as an adult. With him, and all of his needs as a rescue, I learned how to work with dogs and be a good pack leader. I love to play with dogs and see them happy. And that makes me happy! I work for home most of the week, so I am available throughout the day to interact with the dogs in my care. I only take dogs when I can be at home. I only take dogs that are friendly with other dogs, since I have a six year old doodle of my own. There will be lots of time to run around in my fenced yard during the day, at least one neighborhood walk while I take a break from work, and most days Rowan and I head out to either walk on one of the regional trails or play frisbee in the park

“Alison checked in on our dog Archie while we were gone for a few hours. She was prompt, sent a photo and remembered to put Archie in his crate when she left (per instructions). Archie can be very enthusiastic with new people and she wasn't phased at all. She also came for a pre-meet even though it was a bit of a drive for her.”

About: I have been around animals all my life, particularly big dogs. My family has always had big dogs (Bernese Mountain dogs and labradors), but I share the love with all sizes! Helping train our family dogs has also given me confidence not only in handling animals, but also the knowledge to ensure safe engagement with them and others. No animal is "problematic" they all just require (and deserve) specific attention and patience. I personally enjoy the company of animals, so it's a win-win if I get to hang out with your pet! I'm an active person and like to invite my furry friends along for fun too. I'll run with them to get out their zoomies, play fetch for hours, or go on nice long strolls along the neighborhood. I enjoy getting outside as much as the dog does, so this is a mutually beneficial experience! I work from home, typically schedule my own meetings, and have a flexible schedule! I enjoy getting out of my house to go on walks of my own, so its even better to have some furry company! I understand that life happens and sometimes we need extra support, even last minute. You get your money's worth with me! I have helped potty train, helped teach tricks, have extensive experience pet sitting for animals with various needs and abilities, have experience sitting for elder pets and pets who need medication, and I am dedicated to catering my care to fit with your pet's personality making our time together fun and engaging. I take a positive reinforcement approach to dog training and build trust with the pets I watch. I spend a lot of time outside exploring new locations each day and our time together often ends with your pet exhausted. I have done loads of house sitting and have wonderful references. If needed I can even watch your other pets, too. I am getting my master's degree right now allowing me to take your dog out on frequent walks. When sitting for dogs that are well behaved I tend to bring them with me everywhere I can, keeping them active and engaged. Taking care of your animals is my way of getting time with them during a time in my life when I cannot have them. I love all animals and promise to care for them with all the love I would impart to my own animals. I make sure to treat your house as if it were my own. This means keeping things clean and making sure that nothing is destroyed. If something does get broken (which is uncommon) you will always know and if it was my fault I will, of course, replace it. It is not uncommon for people to ask for me to bring in their mail, water their plants, etc. and I am happy to help how I can.
