About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. My focus is providing an enriching experience for your dog .

About: I'm an animal-loving, dog mom who wants nothing more than to spend all her free time with the furry friends! I've adopted and cared for many dogs, and from childhood I helped raise my family dogs and hamsters :) Very few things bring me the same level of joy as the animals do. I know the importance of traveling or working without the stress of how your pet will be taken care of-and I'd love to help make your life easier by tending to your babies while you're away. I have a remote job which makes me very available to stop in for walks and hugs, or to spend the entire day/night with your loved ones. Have computer will travel, so I'm very free! I will always abide by your house rules for your pets and give them extra love and affection while I'm watching them. I'm also happy to do light training while with your pets if that is helpful!

About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.

About: I grew up with lots of dogs and cats and have always had a lot of love for animals. I’m very attentive to their body language and behavior and do my best to understand what they need and what makes them feel comfortable. I also enjoy training my own pets, especially for their safety and the safety of others, while understanding that every dog is different and needs a different approach. Most of all, I believe in treating every being with love, patience, and respect and would care for your pets the same way I care for my own. I’m a freelancer with a flexible schedule and availability during the week and on weekends. I love getting outside and am happy to take your pup for a walk even on rainy or chilly days. I’m very respectful of people’s homes and belongings and am careful to leave things just as I found them. I know pets are used to their routines, so I’m punctual with feeding, walks, medications, and any other schedules you have in place.

About: I've grown up taking care of both cats and dogs. I love animals and look forward to helping you care your your precious pets. In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I live in Guerneville, but frequently go to Sebastopol throughout the week. So mainly looking to work for ones in these areas. But open to adventuring in to further surrounding areas if its a good fit for us both! Currently I am not able to board pets in my home because I am renting. About: I have loved animals like family as long as I can remember. And feel I have a special connection with them and them with me because of my calm and centered energy. Animals communicate and respond through peoples energy and I feel its how they know to feel safe. I care for dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, lizards etc. And am happy to answer any questions on all. I work for myself so I have a flexible schedule and can usually accommodate most schedule needs of pet parents. I typically make morning and evening rounds and unless I am out of town I am available 7 days a week. I take pride in my attention to detail and upon first introduction I try and get as much information as possible about a clients home and needs pertaining to their pets and what they are used to so that I can do my best to maintain that schedule and activity.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs.
