About: I got started dog-sitting as a teenager, because every family I baby-sat for had dogs as well. I've spent years walking and taking care of dogs, though I've never had one of my own. I love dogs, but through my adult life so far, I haven't lived in an apartment complex that allowed them. I am up for long walks and playtime. I also just moved to the Detroit-area from Kalamazoo, and walking dogs seems like a great way to get to know the neighborhoods.

About: I have worked with animals and have used pet care facilities before and know it is hard to find trusted dependable care. Understand life/work happens and there is always need for pet care to support them with. I am available Monday through Friday days. Evenings for Monday through Thursday. Weekends for sitting overnight. Able to come over to check on animals or feeding time. I have trained two puppies from 4weeks and on that were part of my household. I have a dog that was found in Eastern Market area and have worked with resource guarding.

About: I have been caring for family, friends and neighbors dogs and cats for 15 years. Walking, feeding, administering treats, administering medications, grooming, vet trips, playing, and all of the snuggles. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the day; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm with a little weekend availability. I do apologize, but at the moment I am unavailable to care for your pets in my own home, as I have two cats of my own and no fenced-in yard.

About: Hello, my name’s Amanda and I just finished my freshman year at the University of Michigan. I have been in the dog watching/walking business for about 8 years now, and I can honestly say that it is my favorite way to spend my time! This is my first time on Rover, so I’m very excited to give it a shot. I’ve had two dogs throughout my life and have been the primary caretaker of them. Since they are not with me anymore, I am looking forward to spending time with other amazing dogs! I will always make it fun and play with your pup, as well as keep them safe and healthy. About: I have had pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, parakeets, and bearded dragons. About: I have had multiple dogs growing up my whole life. I always pet sit my family's and friends's pets over vacation or just casual summertime work! I am a well trusted gal who just wants some extra pups to love on! This will help feed my dog obsession until I can adopt some more in the future! About: In a fast paced environment it is easy to overlook our place in the world as animals. Being in close contact with other beings can create connectedness and a sense of place in nature. Simple tasks like dog walking may seem beneath most people, but I see it as an act graciousness and a chance to connect to other beings. As a walker or sitter my goal is to consciously occupy space with your pet. This, for me, means accommodating and changing as situations seem fit.
