About: I have owned dogs my entire life and have owned a variety of breeds. I have been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors who have all had a variety of breeds. I have experience with providing medication to dogs and separation anxiety/anxiety in general. I will love them as much as you do as I spoil them with love and affection. I work from home during the day, Monday through Friday, allowing for care of the pet(s) during the day. I have 2 breaks and a lunch during the day and am flexible to take the dog(s) out to go potty when needed. I can adjust my schedule to meet the normal environment in your house. I also can meet with the dog(s) ahead of time to ensure that they will feel comfortable with me when I start dog sitting as well as you the owner.

About: I really like to meet animals where they are. If they are high energy and love to play then that is what we will be doing. If they are a lounge on the couch kind of dog then I will lay with them. I currently have one dog and I have been able to teach him many tricks like roll and high five! I also have 3 cats who keep me busy but in a good way! I have dog sat before many times but I am excited to meet new animals on Rover. I work full time on the weekdays from 7:45-4. I would also be able to be at your home for a few minutes during my lunch break depending on the location. I have full availability Friday night - Sunday night I always make sure that I am following their routine and doing things the way that you would do them! I will ask any questions if I have them to make sure I am doing everything right. The animals would never be able to escape as I am very careful with doors and I always wrap leashed around my wrist for a second layer of protection

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

“We booked Kari to housesit and watch our two hound mixes for a week while we took a much needed vacation. One of our pups is diabetic and needs to have her blood glucose level tested before eating meals and receiving insulin injections. As you can imagine, we were very nervous to leave our pups with someone. Kari was AWESOME. She took excellent care of our pups, was detailed about the care she was giving to our pups each day, and communicated with us throughout our trip, reassuring us with pictures and details about the dogs so that we were able to enjoy our vacation. About: I have experience with many types of dogs of all sizes and energy levels! My dog, who is a coonhound mix, gets walked a lot, but is very chill and super friendly with other dogs. I’ve also cared for dogs from an aggressive lab mix, to a 4lb chihuahua. I had a long-term dog sitting job in college where I frequently gave medicine, assembled natural food plates, and exercised multiple dogs with different ages and energy levels. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to tend to your pup! My dog also requires a lot of attention, so I’m used to dogs who need multiple walks a day and lots of cuddle/play time. My dog gets walked at least 4 miles a day, and has constant access to food and water, as he eats pretty intuitively. While he normally just lounges around the apartment while I’m gone, he is crate trained and can he put up if that is what your pup prefers!

One of the dogs is very elderly and needs a lot of hands on care. Annalize brought it, and kept everyone cool, comfy, fed, and happy. I would recommend her highly.”
