“Taylor is a great walker for my dog! She's punctual, consistent, and he's always super happy to see her. Lots of availability. My dog is apprehensive around people sometimes but he loved her immediately.”

About: Hello! I am home for the summer and looking to spend my time with adorable pets and show them some love! I have been taking care of my two dogs since the 5th grade and I just graduated college. I love going for walks and playing fetch. I’m also content chilling on the couch and watching doggies nap. Most days I don’t have any obligations throughout the whole day and can work my daily tasks and errands around walking or checking on dogs. I always make sure my pets have water available all the time, especially in the summer. My dogs usually go on a leash when they are outside, and I feel most comfortable walking dogs with a leash. My dogs eat at the same time every day and get lots of attention when inside.
About: I have always had dogs and cats and love animals sometimes more than people, LOL! I have retired from my business career and now getting to enjoy caring for your furry children. I am happy to walk your dogs and do whatever you need for them to be comfortable while you are away. I am currently working full time but will be retiring soon. At this time, I will be available to care for your furry friends on the weekends but in the coming year will also be available throughout the week. I am a trustworthy, reliable person and always put my best effort into everything I do! I look forward to caring for your furry friend!
About: I currently have 2 dogs that I love dearly and help to take care of! With both of these being small dogs, I excel in smaller dog care but am open to larger dogs as well! I am currently home for summer break upon until middle of August! I am pretty much open all day to take care of your pets! I am able to hang out with your pets and also feed them and take them outside! I can also put them in their crates as needed!
About: I'm most experienced with dogs and cats. That said, I am willing to look after any pet! I've always had dogs of my own, and I previously volunteered at a shelter which gave me added experience walking dogs of many breeds, ages, and temperaments. I am also familiar with giving medications (pills/capsules, eye ointments), crating, automatic feeders, and self-cleaning litter robots. I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I am able to accommodate both weekday and weekend requests at nearly any time-with exception of Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons. Your pets, your home, your rules! The clearer instructions the better, and please be open to answer questions where needed. I promise to do my best in following your guidelines to protect your space and animals!
“Ceara is a reliable dog walker for our ridgeback Oso. We did a meet and greet prior to their first walk and she’s been so good with him ever since. Ceara is our first choice on rover because she is flexible, reliable, she communicates frequently, and because Oso adores her. We’re super grateful to be repeat clients with Ceara and we trust her with our dog.”

I have a fenced in yard. I have a small 8 lb dog that is unamused by other dogs and will keep his distance. Your dog can be crated if you'd prefer. About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

About: I am very patient and treat every dog like they’re my own. I will give them a lot of love and respect. Thank you !! I have a lot of extra free time and will be willing to make some time for your doggies!! Whenever you need me:) thank you!! I have a huge green grass area in front of my house, a great backyard at my gma’s house and a great neighborhood for walks!
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I have been a dog sitter for friends and family my whole life and have taken care of dogs for my nanny families in the past! I am currently a part-time nanny, but fit in dog care in my off time! I only work two full days a week, Monday and Thursday, so I have plenty of time for my puppy friends! I love to help out other dog parents and want to make dog care my full-time job. When caring for a dog in another home, I can easily follow instructions you leave for me. I can walk the dogs on a leash, take them to dog parks, or play with them in my own yard. If a dog has to come home with me, I have a large home with plenty of yard for them to run and play in. I have small crates at my own home if needed. I have experience with giving dogs medication due to my own senior dogs and my French bulldog who has had allergy issues.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
