“Josie is amazing! She is such a good sport when my pup climbs all over her like a billy goat to give her kisses and hugs! Also it’s so cute when her son comes and gives my pup extra pets too!”

“I needed a lalst minute dog walker for our 5 month old puppy Yogi. Sunil came to the rescue! Sunil offered to come to our house the night before to meet Yogi. When he did there was an instant connection between Sunil and Yogi. Sunil is a dog lover (and whisperer) for sure! My husband and I have never met a nicer young man. This was the first time we left Yogi with a sitter. When I saw how Sunil interacted with Yogi it was such a relief and we felt confident that Yogi was in great hands. It was a very long day for us, we were gone for about 13 hours. When we got home Yogi was happy and was also tired! Sunil gave him a good workout during his walks I think! We HIGHLY recommend him.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Taylor Taylor was an absolute lifesaver while I was away, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care she provided to my cat, Cookie. As any cat parent knows, cats can be a little shy and often prefer hiding under the bed — Cookie is no exception. But Taylor took the time, patience, and genuine effort to make Cookie feel comfortable and cared for. Her kindness truly made a difference. Taylor was consistently prompt, courteous, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond her responsibilities — not only did she take wonderful care of Cookie, but she also watered our small houseplants and kitchen garden without being asked. That extra thoughtfulness meant so much to us. Taylor also ensured cookie was taken care of when she could not come for a day due to a family emergency. Thank you Taylor. We sincerely appreciate all her help, her kindness, and her professionalism. Taylor is truly exceptional, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. You are my to go sitter next time I am away.”

“Awesome as always and Sebastian likes Marlaina! Rover: I am completely fine with Marlaina not staying the full 30 minutes, as she gives Sebastian his SubQ fluids, and it does not take 30 minutes to administer. Thank you!”
“Elena was fantastic with our kitties. She did all that was asked of her and when we returned home after a week away, our cats were very indifferent to our arrival home which shows us they were well taken care of and given lots of love in our absence. We will definitely be using Elena again to watch our fur babies when needed!”

“Katlyn took great care of our Bentley, kept us informed, sent great pics- made us more at ease with this being the first time being away from him for so long. We will definitely book with her again.”

“Mikayla is an amazing sitter and set my mind at ease the entire time we were away by sending pics and updates with every visit. When we met her, we could tell she has so much compassion and love for all animals. I feel lucky to have found her and will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have cared for my family's pets for over 30 years, I love meeting new animals and getting to know their personality! I have experience at every stage of a pet's life, from puppies and kittens to elder pets. I have experience administering mediation, caring to your pet's specific needs, assisting disabled pets, training puppies and crate training. I am dedicated to being a caring and thoughtful pet-sitter. I love animals and can't wait to meet your special friend! I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats. My dog, Zoey, is a 2-year-old puppy that I got at 12 weeks old, so my puppy training skills are fresh! I also have 2 cats, Archie and Theo, who are brother cats from the same litter. I've had them since they were kittens. Zoey grew up with the cats, so she is well trained with cats and she is very well behaved. Zoey and the cats get along with other animals very well. They are sweet, loving pets that play together and nap side-by-side. I work from home full time, so I am always at the house. I am very flexible to whatever your pet's routine is. Whatever they need, I can incorporate it into my day. At booking, I will provide a questionnaire and you can advise me of any needs or requests for your pet's routine, and I will make their routine a part of mine! In my home, I provide pets with several comfortable areas for them to lounge and sleep in, with bedding and blankets. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I will maintain communication with you and check-in daily with photos; I am also open to take any inquiries, if you would like to check-in on your pets.

About: I’ve had pets since I was 5. I’ve always been in charge of their wellbeing. I currently have 4 pets so handling a couple more fur babies isn’t a problem for me. Either they’re big or small. I’ll treat them as my own. I currently am not working so I will be with your fur baby 24/7. I am very strict with feeding times, potty breaks and play time. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room to run. I also live a block away from the park so a nice walk would be able to happen as well. My family has a total of 4 cats and three dogs but not to worry all dogs are very friendly and I will be there at all times during interaction if anything where to happen. Our cats are super chill too they don’t want nothing to do with our dogs or humans.

About: I've taken care of young and old dogs. I've watched family pets for years and have spent a lot of care on specialized research around animals to ensure I give them the best care I can. I love to play with them, never get bored of watching them and ass I started I pay a lot of attention to detail. I can pick up on all those little details in dogs that many sitters will miss. You could not leave your dog with a safer host. I have a very flexible and open schedule right now. I am willing to work whenever and can plan around caring for your pet. It will be my number one priority. I have an apartment that is free of pets right now so I have the space give your pet some extra room without disruption while they stay with me
“Kari was an absolute rockstar Petsitter. Our kitty has diabetes, so he needs his insulin shot daily within a specific time period. Kari was on time every day and sent photos throughout our whole 2 week trip. Not only did she take great care of our cat, but she made she to take the trash out and keep everything straightened so the house didn’t smell like we’d been gone for a while. We will absolutely request her for future trips!”

“Anna was a wonderful gift to caring for my senior dog. She came over on an additional day, just to learn about all of the complexities involved. She corresponded well with me while I was on the other side of the country. It helped keep my anxiety over my beloved pet way down! Anna is professional and detail oriented, and I would gladly hire her again.”

“Stevy did a great job with my pup. He enjoyed her company while I was away, and it was great to see him happy in the pictures that she sent. I highly recommend booking with Stevy.”
“Angela and Ken are simply amazing! They sent adorable pictures of their visits and with all the tail wagging and kisses, I knew that they were the perfect pet sitters for my fur babies! I will most certainly use them again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5. My brother was very active in the dog community and often took me with him. I took care of his Rotwilliers whenever he vacationed and had several dogs of my own. I have been a dog sitter for friends and family my whole life and have taken care of dogs for my nanny families in the past! I am currently a part-time nanny, but fit in dog care in my off time! I only work two full days a week, Monday and Thursday, so I have plenty of time for my puppy friends! I love to help out other dog parents and want to make dog care my full-time job. When caring for a dog in another home, I can easily follow instructions you leave for me. I can walk the dogs on a leash, take them to dog parks, or play with them in my own yard. If a dog has to come home with me, I have a large home with plenty of yard for them to run and play in. I have small crates at my own home if needed. I have experience with giving dogs medication due to my own senior dogs and my French bulldog who has had allergy issues.
About: I really like to meet animals where they are. If they are high energy and love to play then that is what we will be doing. If they are a lounge on the couch kind of dog then I will lay with them. I currently have one dog and I have been able to teach him many tricks like roll and high five! I also have 3 cats who keep me busy but in a good way! I have dog sat before many times but I am excited to meet new animals on Rover. I work full time on the weekdays from 7:45-4. I would also be able to be at your home for a few minutes during my lunch break depending on the location. I have full availability Friday night - Sunday night I always make sure that I am following their routine and doing things the way that you would do them! I will ask any questions if I have them to make sure I am doing everything right. The animals would never be able to escape as I am very careful with doors and I always wrap leashed around my wrist for a second layer of protection

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
