About: I’m putting myself through college, so everything I make from Rover goes towards my tuition. I have had pets, especially dogs since I can remember as a kid. I’ve also worked for a pet sitting company for 2+ years. For a typical day, I’m highly adaptable to whatever schedule your pets are on. This tends to keep them more comfortable in their home and routine while you’re away! I typically leave in the morning time, then do a drop in visit in the afternoon for at least an hour. I come back at dinner time to spend the evening and night with your furbaby. However, that schedule can be changed to fit your pets specific needs. I’m well versed in many different animals, and am always willing to learn ones that I am not. I try to keep pets I sit as close to their typical routine as possible, and am constantly taking pictures to update their pawrents. About: I have fostered and worked with rescues in Canada when I lived there. I have also been a cat and dog mom for the last 26 years. I have potty trained and fostered puppies and abused animals from different situations. I am comfortable with administering medicine as well as insulin shots. I own my own home and can sit in my home or yours. When your fur babies are in my home they have full access to the entire home as well as yard. They can sleep in my room with me or if preferred in the living room. I love to drive so I can also pick up or go to appointments if needed. I am retired and have all the time in the world right now to do what makes me smile! That means being an amazing loving dog and cat sitter. I get up every morning take the dogs to the dog park or a good walk We go to the beach and go on trails exploring After a fun day we usually chill out when it’s especially hot and then have a nightly walk before heading to bed. I treat my dogs like family and if in my home they will have the house as they feel comfortable. If I am in your home I will follow any instructions left to insure that they are comfortable and consistent. I own my own home and have 2 fur babies of my own. A 15 year old bichon and an 8 year old cockapoo. If your animals come to my home they will be treated just like my own family. I am available for 24 hour care as well if needed for long periods of time. I do not crate my dogs they have free run of my home and furniture.

About: Hi, My name is Maarten and twenty-nine years ago, I applied for an internship at Artis, a zoo in Amsterdam. As luck would have it, I didn't get the job and life took me in a different direction. Now I am 45 years old and fate has finally delivered me to a spot where I can get back to my childhood dream of working with animals. I grew up in a household filled with animals: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rats and parrots. This nurtured a wide knowledge of animal care. Over the years, we've had 9 dogs, all of which I trained myself. At the moment, I am raising a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 month old BullMastiff mix. I want to say that over the years, dogs have grown especially close to my heart. To be honest, they have completely taken over. At the moment, I work part-time as a kennel attendant for S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. Although I consider it a dream job, my long-term goal is to open up my own doggy daycare. Approach to Dog Walking: I believe that every dog is unique and deserves the utmost care and respect. I approach dog walking with a big smile and a warm heart. My goal is to create a fun and lively experience for your dog, making each walk a joyful adventure. During our walks, I'll ensure your furry friend's safety and well-being, while also encouraging positive behavior. Wednesday and Thursday I work for S.A.F.E. Animal Shelter. The rest of the week I am available between 08:00 and 15:30. Evening visits can be planned by special request. The safety of your pets and property are my main focus. Before you take me on as your pet profesional we will go over your dog's/cat's strengths and weaknesses to ensure a healthy happy and safe experience.

About: Growing up, I always had a special place in my heart for animals, especially dogs. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience with both large and small breeds including Akitas, Huskies, Boxers, Chihuahuas, and Pomsky mixes. As I got older and moved out on my own, I owned a pitbull who I loved wholeheartedly and sadly lost to cancer in 2024. Since then, I’ve adopted two beautiful American Staffordshire Terriers from the same litter who have filled my home with love again. I truly treat every dog like family. They are welcome on the couches, in the bed, and even in the pool if approved by you! I have a fenced in backyard for safe playtime and lots of room for love, cuddles, and attention. I’m also great with teaching basic commands, keeping routines consistent, and making dogs feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
