About: I grew up with farm cats and dogs in the house, and as an adult I’ve cared for fish and a lovebird named Taylor. I currently have three rescue cats and a rescue Corgi, Maggie. My pets range from 5 to 12 years old, so I’m comfortable caring for animals at different stages of life. Maggie came to me a year and a half ago weighing 59 pounds—nearly twice her healthy weight. She’s now down to 38 pounds, and watching her become healthier, happier, and more energetic has been incredibly rewarding. All of my pets are rescues, and I understand how important patience, consistency, and individualized care are. I’m currently between full-time positions, which gives me the flexibility to provide care for cats and dogs seven days a week. I offer drop-in visits, house sitting, daily dog walks, feeding, playtime, medication routines, litter box care, and plenty of companionship. I also welcome both cats and dogs into my home for stays, where they’ll have a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I’ll follow your pet’s routine and provide personalized care based on their personality and needs. In my home, I have a small unfenced yard with two tie-outs for supervised outdoor time. I also provide an indoor grass patch to help reduce accidents inside. Dogs can sleep in a large kennel if they prefer one, or they’re welcome to sleep upstairs with me. Cats have access to a separate, safe room away from my cats and dog. They can choose whether to spend time with the other cats or relax on their own in their private room. To ensure every pet receives plenty of individual attention, I only care for dogs or cats who already know each other when accepting multiple pets at the same time, and I limit stays to two guest pets. I also have treat feeders for both dogs and cats, along with homemade treats. About: My husband and I have been watching dogs in our home for over 10 years. Our busy lives of work and family have always held us back from owning our own dog. To satisfy our love for dogs we started watching our friends and families dogs and over the years thru word of mouth we have started getting phone calls asking if we would take on more dogs and then joined Rover. We have experience with small to large dogs, dogs with special dietary needs, dogs that need to be able to run, dogs that want to sit on your lap, to dogs that have medical needs. We believe that dogs should be treated as part of the family. We allow them to sit on furniture, sleep in bed etc.. Our jobs have afford us the ability to be able to adjust our schedules to be flexible and have the option to work from home when we have a dog staying with us. This allows us to be home with your dog to ensure they are getting plenty of play time, outside time and lots of attention. It is very rare that your dog will be home alone for a period of time. Our home is your dogs home... we give the dogs full access to the house. We are non smokers and do not have any pets of our own or small children. We walk the dogs twice a day and have an acre of land that dogs are free to roam, run and play -we like to play ball and tug a rope. We do provide a ground stake with a leash for those that like to run "free". We have ability to work from home and have very flexible schedules when needed. Which in turn allows us to very rarely leave your dog home alone We treat the dogs just as if they were our very own pet.. as part of the family. They have free range of the house .. on the furniture and beds.
About: Ive taken care of family friends dog growing up and got my first dog (a Siberian husky named Honey) in 2024. Three months after getting her I started fostering dogs and have fostered 11 dogs since. I love dogs they’re so smart and I like to do obedience training and games with them. I work remote during the weekday so my schedule is very flexible. I can do lunch drop ins. And be available for walks in the morning and evening. Since my schedule is flexible I can care for dog for bathroom breaks during lunch. I’m also a very active person so if you have a more active pup I can take them on long walks or runs.
About: I worked with dogs for 16 hours a week every week for a few years and have one of my own at home. I have dog sat for family friends and take their dogs on walks as well! I just love spending time with dogs. I also have an associates degree in veterinary technology. About: I grew up on a hobby farm for the first 20 years of my life. On that farm I cared for various dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, peacocks, bunnies, fish & more. I have cared for and pet-sat all of these animals & more since I was 10-years-old. I started showing dogs, horses, goats & chickens in 4-H when I was 10 & started showing dogs through the American Kennel Club (AKC) when I was 12-years-old. No matter how much time I spend with my dogs & others, I can’t get enough. They are one of my greatest passions! <3 Every day, I wake up at 6:30am to let my dogs outside to go potty, & play then feed them. We take about a 30-minute walk before I go to work. I get to work by 8am Monday-Thursday. On my lunch break, I come home to let my dogs out & walk them. My husband and I get done with work at 3:30pm (home by 4pm) each day to let the dogs out again. We then walk & feed the dogs once more in the evening. They go out for the last time in the evening anywhere between 10pm-12am. (My husband is a night owl!) My husband & I have a fenced in yard at our home & 3 dogs of our own to keep your dog(s) company. My dogs are crate trained & can stay in our dog room in our basement if your pet(s) prefer not to be around ours. They can also all be let out & walked separately. I have a fairly flexible job in case of emergency where I may need to leave early. We really liked having Audrey watch Kat during our travel trip. Our cat "Kat" is usually very shy and hides when people come to the house, even sometimes hisses. With Audrey, Kat accepted pets, back scratches, brushing, etc. during 2 Meet & Greet sessions before our trip. We were very comfortable with Audrey watching Kat. Audrey left very detailed notes and comments for each Pet Visit session and multiple photos. Looked like Kat was really enjoying Audrey's visits. I also liked that Audrey commented with each session regarding Kat's food/litter box usage and eating including concerns she noted during visits. We had good communication with each visit. She was very prompt in responding to questions. Good communicator. Kat Whisperer. We will definitely use Audrey for future travel trips. I was very comfortable during our trip knowing that Kat was well taken care of. I could tell Audrey and Kat got along well as Kat wasn't stressed out during the trip.
Going on a 2-week vacation, was a little anxious because our cat Dolly was never left alone for that long. She's very affectionate and very people oriented and connects more with men. I picked Emily & Bryan because they work as a team and was hoping Dolly would connect with Bryan. Well, she did. The service was excellent, professional and fantastic communication and I highly recommend their service and Dolly does too.
Frankie and her partner were amazing with Marlee. This was my first time using Rover and greatly appreciated her meeting Marlee prior to the drop-in visits. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
