I have one cat, Dixie, who is not friendly to strangers, but Carole’s relationship with her made us very happy. Dixie let her pet her and even came out to see her. The pictures were wonderful to see and made leaving them a little bit easier. We will be using Carole again for our next trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs(my own pets) since high school. Friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets when they’re out of town. I also graduated from the vet tech institute in 2014. Then I went on to work as a radiology and ophthalmology veterinary technician in a busy emergency hospital for 5 years. “Faith took excellent care of Ella! She sent updates but not too frequently (I was on a family trip and appreciated not being "pinged" every time something interesting or different happened), and also pictures of my girl eating and playing. I have no idea whether they actually enjoyed watching Ella - she can be a handful - but I know Ella came home happy, safe, and well fed, with an immaculately clean cage and water bottle. If I have another trip for which I must leave my pets I'd be grateful for Faith to care for Ella again if she is willing!”

I also take care of friend's animals when they go out of town. I'm usually the go to for that. I also foster kittens for the Denton County Animal Shelter I currently work in Denton from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and I'm available on my lunch break to make home visits. I'm also available all day on the weekends and during the week for house sitting. I'm not currently taking any pets into my home because I have cats (not sure how another dog will do with them) and my dogs are elderly. I may consider one small dog or puppy for a weekend.

About: I grew up with dogs since I was seven years old. I’ve never not had a dog in my house. My first dog was when my grandmother surprised me on Valentine’s Day a little black poodle and I called her Sissy. I had her since I graduated in high school and she passed away. I was devastated because she was my childhood dog. I will never forget her. Now, I have a spunky blue heeler mix named Zendaya who is one years old. I like playing, walking, petting and being next to my dog. Plus, my two sons adore her. I have a hybrid schedule. M, W, F, I work from home. I take a 30 minute to an hour lunch break. I can make sure your pet has enough food and water. On Tues & Thurs, I’m in the office. After work, M-F, I have more time to walk the dog, make sure their water and food bowls are filled. I can play with your dog if he or she needs attention. On the weekends, my schedule varies. My kids have a soccer or football game. My husband and I play ultimate frisbee, go to church, spend time with our family or friends. I always take my dog out in the morning before work. I feed her twice a day. When I work from home, on my lunch breaks, I like to go on walks with my dog. When she needs something, she’ll come to me and give me a look or bark at me and I let her outside in my back yard. When I’m in the office twice a week, I let my dog out and keep her in her crate until my husband gets home from work. If he’s gone all day and not back earlier in the day, my mother-in-law will stop by to let her out. We don’t have a dog door, but I keep the back door open if the weather is nice. My family and I like to go to the dog park and let our dog play with other dogs or we take her on hikes.

About: I have cared for animals of all sizes from show animals for FFA to caring for reptiles of all kinds. I have been a animal lover since childhood growing up with large dog breed like English mastiffs and various animals like cats, bearded dragons, and rabbits! I’m currently preparing for college and my schedule is wide open to do check-ins or even sit with your animals for extended periods of time. I offer all services to fit your animals needs such as check-ins, walks, and even overnight stays if needed for your animals. I am mindful of all instructions especially when it comes to animals on a special diet, and I am experienced in giving medications.
