We have a very shy, very large, very old dog - we had a couple meet and greets with Allison to introduce the shy pup, and she really took the time to get to know both us and the pup. About: I've taken care of dogs of various sizes since I was a kid. We currently have two senior dogs and one senior cat. I have recently retired and cannot think of anything more rewarding than helping out fellow pet lovers I am retired, so I have lots of free time. I am available to do drop ins and walks just about any day or night other than if we are out of town. I will follow your directions as to the care you want for your pet at your home. At this time, I can't do care in my home for all pets since my oldest girl (13 1/2) sometimes gets crabby and annoyed with the other dogs. It wouldn't be fair to invade her space.
7. Oscar R.
“Oscar is a wonderful pet caretaker! He is always happy to take care of Nyla, our puppy bernedoodle. We also had a senior lab and Oscar was very patient with him and his additional needs, such as administrating medications. His kindness towards animals and communication with us is unremarkable. We would highly recommend that you chose Oscar to be your family pet sitter!”
8. Laurel T.
“Laurel is amazing with Zero as always! She always sends a detailed update and a picture after walking Zero.”

About: Hi and thanks for checking out our page! My family and I would love to care for your furry friend while you are away. Our 5-year old lab, Penny, loves making new friends and will welcome your dog with tail wags and she might just share some treats with them too (if you approve of treats!). Previously our family fostered dogs with Happily Ever After and now want to extend our home to other pups in need of temporary stay while their families are away. We have a fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play and we have the ability to let dogs outside every 2-4 hours, if needed. Special diets or medical needs can be accommodated so your dog feels like they are at home. We look forward to caring for your pup! My fiance and/or I have the ability to work at home when needed and also have nanny camera on to ensure our furry family members are taken care of at all times. Our days start around 4AM when we head to the gym and then get ready for work and school. Pets are fed around 6AM and have two breaks outside in the event both of us head into the office that day. If your dog requires a bathroom break during the day or needs someone home with them at all times, we are able to accommodate this. If we are at the office for the day, we arrive home around 5PM where we play outside with our dog, Penny, before she gets her dinner. Walks can also be taken 1-3 times per day. Our dog does not sleep in a crate, but we do have one at the house if your dog does best in a crate at night or while adults are not at home. Our fenced in yard makes play and leisure accessible at all times. All gates to the fence are secure and we have motion lights for night time safety. Our neighbors also have dogs and fenced in yards and we each keep an eye out for one another's pets. Inside, we have dog beds or crate(s) available for your dog. Doggy nanny camera is on when we are not at home with motion sensor, bark sensor. Additionally, we do have exterior cameras to ensure our entire home is safe and secure.
11. Katherine E.
“I’m so pleased with Katrina and how she cares for and follows directions for Finley and our home. It’s always a nice way to end my work day, knowing that Finley has also enjoyed his full 30 min walks with Katherine. Her doggy report is something good to look forward to reading. She’s trustworthy and timely. Very happy once again, with another contact within Rover.”
12. Mason H.
“My dogs adore Mason! They were quickly at ease with him, and he became their best friend in no time. My dogs have very different personalities and he adapted to each of them, figuring out what they like and meeting them on their level. Highly recommend!”
13. Jeanne K.
“Jeanne and her entire family love their animals. They are part of the family and get treated as such. Jeanne watches my animals when I am on vacation and they are spoiled with love and attention. Excellent animal caretaker and I would highly recommend.I”
14. Sasha H.
“Sasha is a kind and compassionate young lady who is great with young children and pets too. She teaches music to elementary students and is very patient yet firm- traits needed for both teachers and animal handlers alike. Our dog Addy’s tail starts wagging the minute she sees her because she knows a good pet is coming.”
15. Amanda R.
About: I have been dog sitting since I was 15! It was one of my first jobs. It’s very easy for me to be flexible since I’m a recently graduated college student. I’m also open to any other pets (rabbits, hamsters, etc) In my 9 years of pet sitting I have taken care of many different pets! I have done check-in, overnights, and walks for friends, family, and community members! I’m currently looking for a part time or full time per sitter or check in’s needed at the pet’s home. I’m very flexible because I recently graduated with my Masters degree and am taking time off to work towards my licensure and certifications at home. I can take care of animals in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings as I am typically available all day outside of personal plans and appointments. I have a backyard and a dog park on the same block as me that are great resources! If you have trails or neighborhoods that are safe to explore near your home I would opt for this, but I also know of great pet friendly parks and spots in Brown County. We either bring our dog outside in our backyard to play and go potty or walk her around the neighborhood. There is also a dog park near our house we bring her to during the warmer months. Our cat is self sufficient but she loves to play and cuddle! I wake up with her every morning and go to sleep with her every night. She hides away during the day mostly in her favorite cozy spots, but at night she’ll come out and play with her toys. She is a sucker for some yummy treats too!
16. Kendal D.
“Kendal has always been known as the animal lover of her family. She has to point out (and name the breed) of every dog she sees, and they all are immediately drawn to her. Dogs are, afterall, a good sense of charcter. Kendal has worked at a doggy day care for +3 years and is their go-to trainer for all new hires. When there is a problem, they go to Kendal. Dropping off your dog to a stranger for the day (or even overnight) is a scary thought. Our dogs are our family or best friends! But Kendal's customers praise her on the care she takes for every dog, and feel relieved by knowing that they are safe in her hands. When she told me about starting side jobs on Rover I was excited for her because I know dogs are Kendal's greatest passion. Rest assured, your dogs are safe in Kendal's care.”
17. Alli Y.
“Alli was very attentive, communicative and sent lots of photos/updates when she watched our pups for the weekend. It felt great knowing that our dogs were in great hands when we were away. I know who to call if we need help in the future! Thanks Alli!”
18. Jacquie M.
“In Jacquie’s house, pets are family. They are well taken care of and spoiled. Her labrador son Hank gets all the love and only fancy filtered water, she is sure he can tell the difference between that and tap water. Hank has a kitty brother that also gets a lot of attention, mostly because he demands it. She watched her doggie nephew when he was a puppy. I had some long days with school and work and was very grateful he was well taken care of. She is responsible and respectful.”
19. Heather D.
About: I’ve been helping take care of dogs since I was 6 years old. My friends and family know to call me first when they need someone to help with their fur babies because I am reliable and I take my job seriously. My primary job, I work from home so I’m home all day with my dog. We take daily walks (weather permitting) and spend a lot of time in the yard playing. I revolve my life around the needs of my kids and my dog, Molly. I go outside for every potty break so the dogs are never unattended. I pay attention to the dogs ways of telling me they need to go outside.
20. Lizzy G.
“Lizzy did an absolutely wonderful job house sitting and watching our dog Mulligan! She sent pictures of them having fun together, walking and even eating that is sometimes rare when we’re away. Our home was kept in perfect order and we will definitely utilize Lizzy’s services again. She’s the best! Jane and Tom”
