That's a big thing for me, if an animal is uncomfortable, I am 100% uncomfortable along with them.. learning their little quirks and finding ways to do things in the best way possible for that specific animal is what I do and I absolutely love doing it. I promise your animal will be cared for deeply while in my care. My passion has always been working with animals, providing them with the care and respect they deserve and I have extensive experience in the field. I’ve worked in horse barns, animal shelters, and dog boarding facilities, and I’m skilled in administering all types of medications, including insulin. Whether it’s feral cats or reactive dogs, I have the patience and expertise to help them adjust and thrive, including building trust with new people. I understand how intimidating change can be for animals, and I’m dedicated to making those transitions as smooth as possible. I’ve dedicated countless unpaid hours to caring for animals, driven solely by my love and commitment to their well-being. When you entrust me with your pet, I promise to care for them as if they were my own, providing compassion, patience, and unwavering dedication in every situation. I am pretty open with my schedule. I will love your babies like my own. I do work mon-thurs 3-9pm and Saturday 11-4. I am a perfectionist. If you tell me you want something done in a specific way or at a certain time, please let me know!! I'd be more than happy to jump through hoops to give your baby(s) what they need when and how they need it. I will put your animal above everything else, that's what I'm paid for and that's what I love doing.

About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! About: From growing up on the farm I have a love for taking care of all animals, big and small! Hope to meet you and your pup soon! I work a hybrid work schedule. Thursday-Friday are my work from home days! I’ll be able to tend to your dog for all their needs and he/she will have my dog as a friend/companion! I have a large fenced in yard to get all the zoomies out! Dogs are allowed on the bed/furniture! I treat them as one of us!

About: I was born into a dog family and have been exposed to animals of all sorts starting at a very young age. I have had five dogs in my life. The one that meant the most to me was the one I raised myself. Her name was angel and I started raising her when I was only eight years old. My aunt had a litter of puppies and was giving them away to family and friends, I had gotten an Angel and since then she had been my best friend. Unfortunately, she passed away when I was 19 years old due to breast cancer, but she was my responsibility throughout her lifetime. I had only gotten her when she was a few weeks old, and I had the patience and caring heart to take care of her until the day that she passed. I also had a German Shepherd, a black lab, a pitbull /basset hound mix, and a pitbull who only had three legs. Each one of these animals has had a big impact on my life. I have also had many experiences taken care of other animals besides dogs and cats, including, not limited to snakes, wildlife, fish, hamsters, gerbils, birds, etc. I take special care to each animal that is in my responsibility because I believe that each animal should have their own individual cares met, as well as their own happiness and satisfaction met in life. I work full time as a Team Lead at Paragon Community Services. I work 8am-4pm Monday-Friday with no weekends or holidays. I am available on weekends and holidays unless I am scheduled as unavailable. I am also open to evening services after work :) I will always follow the owners instructions as that is my main priority. Any directions given to me will be well followed! I know crate training, walking on leashes, how to operate bark collars, really anything you will use for your pet and if I don’t I am always able to learn!

About: I'm high energy and giving. I grew up with big dogs my entire life and this is the first time I have been without one in awhile. My golden retriever passed away last summer and in due time I will be getting another dog. In the meantime it brings me here so I can help others when they need it. I have experience training puppies and my father and I helped out a breeder of goldens for awhile. I enjoy finding new toys or things for dogs to do to enhance their cognitive abilities and regular exercise is important to me. I look forward to getting to know you and your dog! I'm currently working on being a bookkeeper, so I have more free time with my schedule. As of now I'm a full time oral surgery assistant, working 7am-4pm. I had a routine when I had my golden which included waking up, eat our breakfast and then go for a nice walk, followed with our daily trip to the dog park. I moved to a duplex, so boarding dogs is a bit harder for me now. However, I am still open to having them stay with me if they do okay with walks. I make sure the house is clean and safe, especially having a puppy. I keep a plethora of toys available, daily walks, grooming appointments and food. I do everything to make sure any dog is living their best life, because they're the angels that walk this earth.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adore all animals but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I have fostered puppies and dogs which included medication administration. I have a senior dog myself now and have been adapting his care to adhere to his age. I have trained puppies before with potty training, teething, and walking on a leash. I work full time during the week but have a fairly flexible schedule. Primarily available on the weekends to love and care for your pets. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs.
