About: I grew up in a household that always had a pet dog, cat and at times other rodents and reptiles. I have always loved animals, so I helped a lot with pet care at home and with neighbors. Horses have aways been my favorite, I started lessons at 10 and started working around 14. I am 26 and have been in the industry since then. I have ranch sat for properties with over 100 different individual animals including horses, pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, chickens, dove, quail, rabbits, dogs and cats. I have also had job positions where I am solely responsible for 8 horses on a remote ranch on an island with no vet on it. Although this is less dog experience it shows my ability to handle responsibility and provide excellent house sitting and animal care. I have also watched and helped care for roommates and friends' dogs and cats throughout my life. Basically, my life has always involved caring for a plethora of animals including dogs and cats. I just moved back home after travelling and I do not have a set routine yet. Therefore, I am currently available whenever! This will eventually change. I care for pets with the utmost attention to detail with the goal of having a good time! I am very respectful of other people's spaces, beliefs, training methods, etc. When caring for pets in a client's home it is fairly simple. I just follow the instructions given and ask questions as needed. The important thing in my opinion is clear communication. I try to maintain the pet's routine as closely as possible as I believe that helps decrease stress in transition and change. I am very active so love to take dogs on walks and runs. I love spending time with animals, but I do provide firm boundaries. Unless I am asked to use a handling methodology or strategy, I mostly use positive reinforcement and reserve negative reinforcement for potential dangerous situations.
About: Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions in life. I have over 30 years of experience and have cared for many different animals including horses, bearded dragons, goats, sheep, hamsters, ducks, chickens, fish, snakes, and of course, dogs and cats. I had a little farm in Illinois before I moved to California in 2015. On this farm, I rescued and cared for chickens, kittens, dogs, and goats. About: I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses and am very confident in caring for them. I have plenty of time in my schedule to make sure that I am giving them the attention and care that they need while you are away! I am also knowledgeable on how to administer medications and special food. I am a student with a lot of free time due to some of my classes being online so pet care will fit into my schedule very easily! About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 30 years. I have two Pittbull mixes , one boxer Pitt and one Pitt bulldog. The Pitt Bull Dog has intervertebral disk disease and used my training in occupational therapy and massage and did physical therapy with him myself so he could use his back legs again, after being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . I can take them on walks, let them out in the yard, play fetch , feed them , snuggle them, and even give medicine.
