About: I've volunteered with an animal rescue for 8 years now. I know how to administer oral medicine, handle feral or very anxious furbabies, I'm fearless and very lovable. Animals are the humans most wonderful friends. I know basic dog training as well. I have open availability at this moment in time unless I have planned events. I'm planning to start school soon but most of my classes would be online so I will be home. If you have a certain routine or schedule with your babies I'll do my absolute best to follow in your foot steps for them. ❤️

Nicole looked after my pup a few days this week and I could not have been happier! She was very accommodating with specific requests I had and she did not mind staying over a few min to make sure my pup finished her meals. She sent plenty of pics of their walks and updated me frequently. She was a pleasure to hire and I will definitely be booking her again for future walks.

It will make my day and theirs! Since I was a kid, I've been the go to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors. While I have a special place in my heart for dogs, my love extends to all kinds of pets. furry, scaly, or feathered! 🐶🐱🐰🐦🐠 With a flexible schedule and a heart full of love, I'm here to give your dog the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Let's make their day as delightful as they are! I work at a jazz club in the evenings, so my days are completely free from early morning until around 5–7 PM. Whether it’s a midday walk, morning cuddles, or a weekend adventure, I’m here to give your pup the attention and care they deserve. I have plenty of daytime availability and can visit multiple times a day if needed! I live in a spacious, clutter free apartment with my roommate, who also grew up with two dogs. We don’t have any pets right now, so your pup would get all the love and attention!

About: A great pet sitter is like a second best friend to your furry family member. I want to radiate warmth and patience, understanding each tail wag. I’m not just there to feed and walk your dog, i’m there to bond, to give belly rubs, and to ensure your pup feels loved and secure while you're away. It's the peace of mind every dog lover seeks when entrusting their beloved companion to someone else's care. I’m currently working part time and going to school. Although I still have lots of time to spend with my pomsky at home! I feel like it's a mix of feeding, playing, walking, and lots of cuddling going on at my home. My pomsky can be very demanding at times but I do everything I can to make him the happiest he can be! First off I’ll treat any dog with lots of love and care , whether it’s my own furry friend or someone else’s. What I do to be a good pet owner is to care for my furry friend by providing them with proper nutrition, regular exercise, and lots of love and attention. I always make sure all pets have a safe and comfortable living environment, with access to fresh water and a cozy place to sleep. I’ll also prioritize regular veterinary check-ups and vaccinations to keep my personal pets healthy. Additionally, as a pet owner i’ll engage in mental stimulation activities, such as interactive toys or training sessions, to keep my pets mentally sharp and happy. Ultimately, it's all about creating a loving and nurturing environment where all pets can thrive! 🐾❤️

About: Hi! My name is Chelsea and im 30 years old. I have been fostering animals (with my family) since I was 8 years old and on my own since I was 22. I love all animals and long walks. I’m currently working part time and remote so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets! I make my own schedule so I am flexible and reliable. Happy to discuss fees for multiple pets to see if we can come to an arrangement we are all happy with :) Also can provide discounts for close distance and repeat clients. Use code CHELSP42284 for $20 off your first service with Rover. I am patient and calm and understand there may be an adjusting period before your pet feels safe with a new handler. With many years of foster experience of both cats and dogs, I know how to familiarize myself with a pet and make them feel the most comfortable. I will always be respectful of your home (if a drop in) and clean up after any messes. I will be respectful of your time and wishes for walks.

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
