About: I’m an experienced dog owner - I’ve had my own special needs deaf dog that I’ve taken care of for 3 years since he was a puppy. Sadly he is no longer with me, but that means I can dedicate myself to other peoples fur babies and it gives me a lot of joy to be able to do that again on a part time basis. I have experience with puppies, obedience and behavior modification training (I am not a professional trainer, but I have worked with one and have taught my own dog basic obedience using hand signals), giving medication as necessary, and adaptability at handling anxiety and reactivity (as this was my dog). I’ve learned the body language of dogs a lot more than many other dog owners because of what I went through with my dog and I am happy to help if I can while your pup is in my care. Before getting my dog, I also watched and walked one of my neighbors dogs regularly. I’ve also done in-home dog sitting for some friends on several occasions for days at a time. I love dogs very much and will treat yours like it’s my own! I’m currently in between jobs and looking for recurring care, hence my open availability. For new clients that need one-time care, I am usually available on weekends. I’m currently in an apartment which may not be the most ideal, though it is pet friendly, so it might only be a good option for day sitting smaller dogs. Otherwise, I can come and sit dogs at your residence. I’ll walk your dog every 2-4 hours. I can also take them to parks/dog parks or runs for exercise if you are comfortable with that.

About: I grew up caring for cats and dogs and have always had a genuine love for animals. I have the most experience caring for medium-sized dogs, including helping care for Labs, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Blue Heelers. I also have extensive experience caring for cats. About: I have 11 years of animal experience. I use to be a manager at a dog boarding facility before I got into vet med. I have no been in veterinary medicine for 10 years. I am currently a veterinary technician at an emergency animal hospital. I do cats and dogs with the occasional pocket pet. CPR and first aid trained. Trained in oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous medications. Great with serious pets and experienced with special needs animals. Can also provide nail trims, anal glands, ear cleanings, and fluid therapy (that’s rx’d by your vet). I have plenty of skills and experience, don’t be afraid to ask if your pet needs something special!

About: Hello my name is Antonio. All my life I have been surrounded by cats and dogs. I love playing with animals and taking them out for long walks. Also, I am able to administer any oral medication or treatment needed for your furry friends!!! I am a middle school special education science teacher, so during the summer I am free. Mondays are my long days but other than that I am pretty much free any day of the week. I treat all animals as if they were my own, and I give them the proper care they deserve. I have a mini fenced in backyard but I may do walks around the block. I am able to provide separation during feedings, and any accommodations that are necessary for your loved one to feel happy and safe.

“Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter! She did drops ins for my two cats. She washed dirty bowls that my cats used after eating. I thought that was so thoughtful of her to do this. She also took pictures of my pets , the pet food she fed them, as well as the cat pen area that she cleaned, everyday. In addition, she came over the day it was supposed to snow, on very short notice, for additional drop in visits. I asked her if she could do drops ins the day before, for this day. And even though it was short notice for this additional booking, she agreed to do the drop ins. I was relieved to not have to travel back home, an hour away, in inclement weather, the next day. I am so grateful for her hard work and for excepting my last minute booking, without much prior notice. Melissa is a reliable , flexible and kind pet sitter! I highly recommend her!”

I work from home in a very dog and cat friendly building with amazing walking paths and dog parks in very short distance. I love the outdoors and it would be my pleasure to take your furry one out for frequent walks, runs and play time. I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and it’s the perfect environment for your fluffy cat. If you prefer your pet to stay at home, I’m happy to come and offer my attention there as well! I offer a safe, calm, loving environment where your pet can cuddle on the sofa or play tug of war with their stuffy. I have had dogs my entire life, puppies to seniors and have cat sat for my bestie for 10 years for her two cats as she traveled extensively. I can manage medications (including insulin shots for dogs and cats), special diets, frequent walks, a clean, neat environment (I have a small dog of my own that I share with my ex so could either look after your pet with or without her, depending on your comfort level). Your fur baby can roam free in my two bedroom apartment and I love cuddles on the couch and sleeping in the bed with me without a problem!
