About: I’m a very loving individual and you will see that. I steered into the Medical Field for a little but my heart is in animals and giving them the attention they need. I have worked at Rover Oaks as a Doggie Daycare attendant. From being bitten to having snuggling moments, I wouldn’t change my thought or reconsider any animal that I’ve taken care of. I have had animals my whole life. No dog/cat is too much for me. I love each one! I give baths and clip nails. As well as I can give medications if needed. I will be going to school to become a Vet Tech Assistant next year. I am CPR certified. I would be honored to take care and give love to your animals. I’m ready to meet your furry friends!
About: I have owned many dogs in my life. From big dogs to little senior chihuahuas have I had the pleasure of caring for in my home. I also grew up around horses, pigs, cats, chickens, and goats! I can’t remember ever having any aggressive experiences. I am working part time and will also be starting esthetician school part time. I will be working and doing school from 7-5. During my free time and weekends I can care for your pet. I am attentive. I can crate, feed, walk, and occupy your pet as needed. My own dog gets play time daily, fed once a day and plenty of outside time!
“At the meet and greet Tuongvi asked a lot of questions about our pet’s care and preferences and sent daily photo updates while we were away. We came home to a happy and satisfied pet and an immaculate home. Will definitely seek her sitting services in the future!”
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life! We had a family dog when I was growing up and I would house/ pet sit for my neighbors when they would go out of town. I currently have three fur babies. A 2 year old Cane Corso/ Stafford Terrier named Moose, a 2 year old pit bull mix named Oakley and a cat named Romeo! Having three animals under one roof has been quite the experience but I’ve loved every moment of the chaos. Since I currently work from home full time I’m available Monday- Sunday most weeks and my schedule is pretty flexible. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Working from home allows me to keep a close eye on your baby and adhere to whatever potty break or play schedule you have set.
“Joi was an amazing sitter. Our dog had a health emergency while we were away and she handled it calmly and with great care. She kept us informed and kept our baby safe. It involved spending hours in the vet emergency room and then monitoring the patient every two hours. We are so grateful for her calm and caring.”

“Sherine and Kai were absolutely amazing! This was our first time hiring a house/pet sitter, and they surpassed all our expectations! We have two elderly kitties and two younger kitties with a lot of special diet and living arrangements, and they accommodated everything! They also went above and beyond in caring for the house! They set our minds at ease, checked in frequently and were so awesome to work with! We will definitely work with them again in the future and I highly recommend them!”

“Allison was amazing with our girls Milli and Maxi. She was responsive with all her replies, our special requests and we felt at ease with Allison taling care of our girls at home. The babies always had big smiles and were always very relaxed. Thanks for all the updates and a great job all around. The girls look forward to her next visit.”

“Amazing! Did a wonderful job taking care of the dogs. She gave them so much love, play, and care while we were gone. She also kept me up to date sending videos, photos, and a description of the day. Will definitely continue booking with Jasmine!”

“Alyssa was the absolute best! She took such good care of our babies and gave us updates all throughout the stay! We never had to worry about if the boys were okay, because she constantly gave us reassurance! She left our home cleaner than we left it! I can not recommend Alyssa enough! We will definitely be using her again!”

About: Cat mom, foster dog parent, and animal shelter volunteer experienced with dogs and cats of all ages, including seniors, anxious pets, and those requiring medication. I treat every pet like family, providing dependable care and personalized attention🫶🏼 Your pet's care, routine, and happiness will always be my top priority. I'll work with their feeding, exercise, playtime, and daily schedule to help them feel comfortable and at ease. As a devoted dog and cat parent myself, I always strive to provide not only the best care for my own pets, but also for the pets of family, friends, and clients who trust me with their beloved companions. I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your pets behind while you're away, and how important it is to find someone you can trust. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind during your time away.

“Sydney was absolutely wonderful! Before our appointment, she took the time to meet Mona, get familiar with our area, and understand all of her needs. On the day of the appointment, she was punctual, and kept me updated throughout, which I really appreciate it. Most importantly, Mona was so happy to spend time with her! I highly recommend Sydney and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you Sydney!!!”

“Robyn was FANTASTIC! Very good at sending pics and videos while o was away. She stayed in my home and was a very respectful houseguest. I’ve already booked her again for my next trip!”

“Here's a review you could use for Chad, the pet/house sitter: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't thank Chad enough for stepping in at the last minute to care for my pets and home. His professionalism and reliability were evident from our first conversation. He took the time to understand my pets' needs and routines, ensuring they were comfortable and well-cared for during my absence. Chad sent me regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease. When I returned, everything was in perfect order, and my pets were happy and healthy. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares as much as he does. I highly recommend Chad for anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring pet/house sitter. He truly went above and beyond!”

About: ’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. From working in an animal shelter to fostering dogs and helping care for newborn puppies, animals have always been a big part of my life. I have hands-on experience with puppies, senior pets, sick animals, rescues, and pets that need medication or extra attention. I know how important it is to have someone patient, dependable, and loving caring for your pets while you’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. Every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and I’ll always care for yours like they’re part of my own family. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, love, and care throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m able to provide consistent companionship, playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, and attentive care based on each pet’s individual needs. We have a fenced in yard with lots of room for dogs to safely run and play. Our home backs up to little league fields, so there can occasionally be some noise and activity, but it also creates a fun, lively environment that many dogs enjoy. In our home, pets are family. Our dogs are spoiled with love, cuddles, couch time, and plenty of attention, and I’ll treat your pets with that same level of care and affection while they’re with me. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll always do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I know how important it is to feel comfortable trusting someone with both your pets and your home, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a hamster, and my parents made sure I was responsible for his daily care. Since then, I’ve cared for all kinds of animals, including fish, reptiles, small mammals, and dogs. Today, I have three dogs of my own: King Julian, my almost 14 year old miniature schnauzer, Simba, my energetic yellow lab, and Rhino, a pit bull mix. Caring for dogs in different stages of life has given me experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I am comfortable handling dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication, extra exercise, a consistent routine, or just lots of love and attention, I will care for them as if they were my own. As a paramedic and current nursing student, I am calm under pressure, dependable, and attentive to details. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect frequent updates, photos, and videos while you’re away so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! My schedule is pretty flexible right now! I am currently in nursing school and work part time, picking up shifts as my schedule allows. Because of this, I have a lot of availability during the week and can often accommodate last minute requests. I am generally available Monday through Friday and can provide walks, drop in visits, and overnight care. If I ever have a scheduling conflict, I promise to communicate promptly and honestly so you can feel confident your pet is will be taken care of ! I understand that consistency is important, and I take my commitment to caring for your pet seriously. I like to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable and stress free while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Before caring for your pet, I’ll take the time to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, medications, and any special needs so I can care for them the way you would. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates because I know how much we all miss our pets when we’re away from them!
“This was our first time to have Tamanda over to pet/house sit for us and she did an amazing job. She took care of all the things I asked her to do and was very up front with me when she had to run errands. When we returned home, everything was just as I left it and of course the most important thing is that she took excellent care of my babies as I could tell when I got home. She put her heart into it!! Thanks again Tamanda. You Rock!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Sealy on Rover is $39.68 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 1,042 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Sealy. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Sealy walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Sealy maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Sealy choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
