About: I never thought I would be a cat person until I moved out to a farm and it came with about 10 cats. It was only after falling in love with one that hated everyone and now she is my favorite animal. We now have over 20 cats. We have rescue cats that have disabilities and take care of the ones that patrol our property.

About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was born but I started counting my years of experience from when I moved out, got married, and had 2 dogs of my own that recently passed. We got them both when they were puppies and cared for them all the way into their seniorhood so I have experience taking care of puppies as well as elderly dogs. If at your house, it will just depend on the day/time and if I’m able to work from there. If I can I can just bring my laptop but if I can’t, it will need to be in the evening when I am clicked out. At my house, our dogs were mainly inside dogs so they were with me the majority of the day and anytime they needed to go out we let them. I will follow whatever feeding schedule needed; my dog’s food ranged from solid to soft food (our older dog had some teeth extracted and didn’t have many left) or a mix of both so I’m comfortable giving either. Water is usually always out for them to get when they needed it. Our smaller dog was allowed on the couch and bed and our bigger dog was only allowed on the couches here and there but was allowed on the bed. We did not crate them but I am familiar with crating. For other places, I will follow whatever routines/rules requested.

On weekends, we are usually out for no more than 4 hours at a time and rarely more than 8 hours in one stretch. We do not allow pets in our care outside the boundaries of our home. They are only allowed inside the house and in our backyard. We have a very spacious home, so your furbaby will have plenty of room to feel comfortable and make themselves at home. The common areas have wood-look tile flooring and are vacuumed daily. We also have a large backyard that is regularly maintained, with plenty of space for your furbaby to run around and play.

I work 12 hour shifts on the Sunday-Tuesday and unfortunately am unable to leave work to check on animals.. but I do have flexible availability the rest of the week to check on animals so if your pet is okay for 12 hour days I would love to watch them on my work days as well but if not I would love to watch them on my off days too!☺️ Just because I work late shifts doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be thrilled to give your pet all the love and attention they need when I am off! When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions exactly as provided, and I make sure your home stays clean and secure during my stay. Your pet will get plenty of attention, affection, and companionship so they feel relaxed and at ease while you’re away. For dog walking, I make safety and enjoyment my top priorities. I walk at your dog’s pace, whether they prefer a relaxed stroll or a more energetic outing. I’m happy to include exercise like running or playing fetch if your dog enjoys it. After each walk, I ensure they have fresh water, are settled comfortably, and I provide updates so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for right in the comfort of their own home.

About: I've taken care of dogs, as well as cats since I was six. My pet experience with dogs is of varying size, energy level, and maintenance. From my moms dog who was a German shepherd, Rottweiler, and chocolate lab mix, to a large stray dog that mix have been a Great dane and boxer mix, and currently 2 small dogs, Angel and Charlie. She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Our dog is a very picky eater and refused to eat his kibble, so Christy thoughtfully offered him eggs, cheese, chicken jerky, and even some of the homemade food they prepared for their own dogs to ensure he was eating well. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication.
