About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life! We had a family dog when I was growing up and I would house/ pet sit for my neighbors when they would go out of town. I currently have three fur babies. A 2 year old Cane Corso/ Stafford Terrier named Moose, a 2 year old pit bull mix named Oakley and a cat named Romeo! Having three animals under one roof has been quite the experience but I’ve loved every moment of the chaos. Since I currently work from home full time I’m available Monday- Sunday most weeks and my schedule is pretty flexible. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Working from home allows me to keep a close eye on your baby and adhere to whatever potty break or play schedule you have set.
“Gem was amazing with Milan! She was always in contact with us when we missed her she sent us many picks and even showed her a few new tricks. We now have a person we can trust for when ever we are out of town!”

All people care for their pets in their own ways whether they’re outside or inside, kenneled or not,all and any accommodations can and will be met with the best possible treatment!

“Sydney was absolutely wonderful! Before our appointment, she took the time to meet Mona, get familiar with our area, and understand all of her needs. On the day of the appointment, she was punctual, and kept me updated throughout, which I really appreciate it. Most importantly, Mona was so happy to spend time with her! I highly recommend Sydney and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you Sydney!!!”

“Tuongvi, as always, was wonderful. Our Peggy recently had an injury and had additional medication - Tuongvi double-checked the instructions. We got so many photos throughout, so that we knew our girls were safe and happy.”

“Trusted Karina with our dogs! Missed them tremendously but assured they were in good hands. Appreciated the pictures during our trip, that was a plus!! Will definitely use her again!!”

About: I have always loved animals of all kinds, and I will ensure your furry friends are treated as if they were my own. I have always lived with cats and dogs and have cared for all sorts, from low maintenance "living plants" to buddies who need extra care and support due to age or ailment. I have an extremely flexible schedule so I can adapt to whatever routine you and your pets are used to, whether that's early morning walks or late night feedings. I can do it all with ease. I will abide by any and all rules you have for both your house and your pets and I will make sure they are followed to the strictest interpretation.
“Ellen helped us out with our three fur babies at the very last minute. She is wonderful! She gives the highest level of communication and I always knew what was happening while we were gone. Will us her over and over!”

“Allison was amazing with our girls Milli and Maxi. She was responsive with all her replies, our special requests and we felt at ease with Allison taling care of our girls at home. The babies always had big smiles and were always very relaxed. Thanks for all the updates and a great job all around. The girls look forward to her next visit.”

“Bryanna was fabulous with Archie. She took great care of him over the holidays and I truly appreciate her love and attention. She also was great at sending us pics. Thank you again for taking care of Archie.”

“Absolutely sweetheart!! I trusted her with my two polar opposite dogs and she did absolutely amazing!! Stayed with them all day so they didn’t have to be in a cage all day. She was very responsive and send updates throughout the day. 10/10 would recommend and rebook again!!”

“Elisa was very attentive to our 5 dogs while my sister and I were away! She made sure to send lots of pictures and videos, and was really responsive whenever I had questions or wanted to check in.”

“Monic was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with all six of our furbabies (3 cats and 3 dogs)! We had never left them with anyone other than family, but she went above and beyond to make sure they were well-taken care of and that she kept us informed of how they were all doing daily! We will be booking her for ALL of our future vacations because our babies were happy and she just did such a magnificent job with them!!! 1000% recommend her!!! ❤️”
“Amazing! Did a wonderful job taking care of the dogs. She gave them so much love, play, and care while we were gone. She also kept me up to date sending videos, photos, and a description of the day. Will definitely continue booking with Jasmine!”

“Natalie is AMAZING!! She did a meet and greet with us and it was clear from the start how much she loved animals. Aside from instructions, she got on the floor and engaged with our cats. While on our trip, she sent us pictures, videos and updates for all three cats. Eventually, even our shy cat came out and began hanging out in the common area; she made sure to check on him everytime she came over. She was amazing with communicating when she was on her way and heading out, too. While we were gone, she even cleaned up litter from the floor and tidied uo our place. She is phenomenal, we really appreciate Natalie so much!”

“Sherine was awesome! She took care of our dogs for two days and they loved her. She sent updates, pics, and really made us feel at ease while we were away. And on top of that, she even did a little cleaning around the house (which she totally didn’t have to do!). Such a nice surprise to come home to happy pups and a clean space. Super friendly, responsible, and easy to work with. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve always been around animals my whole life. Whether it was a dog, a bird or cats I’ve never went a year without one. Now I love taking care of all kinds of animals I just came from Tennessee and tried to transfer with my job, however all the positions here were taken. Now I’m filling my time by doing what I love most and putting my full time into taking car of fur babies. I love giving them pets or even playing with them outside. Any toys that the client provides would be best since they’re the ones who know what their fur babies love the most. Even if no toys are around, I love keeping your fur babies busy with fun
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, but I am an animal lover in general. I have 3 dogs, and I used to have 2 Great Pyrenees. I usually am the one training my dogs to sit, shake, lay, and speak. I love all animals truly, cats to cows! I currently am preparing to go back to school, so I am just saving up money for my apartment! I have a ton of time to play with your pets and take care of them! I will care for your pets by making sure they are fed, given attention and played with. I will do whatever is needed for you and your pet to feel safe.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a hamster, and my parents made sure I was responsible for his daily care. Since then, I’ve cared for all kinds of animals, including fish, reptiles, small mammals, and dogs. Today, I have three dogs of my own: King Julian, my almost 14 year old miniature schnauzer, Simba, my energetic yellow lab, and Rhino, a pit bull mix. Caring for dogs in different stages of life has given me experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I am comfortable handling dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication, extra exercise, a consistent routine, or just lots of love and attention, I will care for them as if they were my own. As a paramedic and current nursing student, I am calm under pressure, dependable, and attentive to details. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect frequent updates, photos, and videos while you’re away so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! My schedule is pretty flexible right now! I am currently in nursing school and work part time, picking up shifts as my schedule allows. Because of this, I have a lot of availability during the week and can often accommodate last minute requests. I am generally available Monday through Friday and can provide walks, drop in visits, and overnight care. If I ever have a scheduling conflict, I promise to communicate promptly and honestly so you can feel confident your pet is will be taken care of ! I understand that consistency is important, and I take my commitment to caring for your pet seriously. I like to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable and stress free while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh water, meals on schedule, plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Before caring for your pet, I’ll take the time to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, medications, and any special needs so I can care for them the way you would. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates because I know how much we all miss our pets when we’re away from them!
“Here's a review you could use for Chad, the pet/house sitter: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't thank Chad enough for stepping in at the last minute to care for my pets and home. His professionalism and reliability were evident from our first conversation. He took the time to understand my pets' needs and routines, ensuring they were comfortable and well-cared for during my absence. Chad sent me regular updates and photos, which put my mind at ease. When I returned, everything was in perfect order, and my pets were happy and healthy. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares as much as he does. I highly recommend Chad for anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring pet/house sitter. He truly went above and beyond!”

Kevin and Amy were amazing with our dogs! My husband and I were away for 2 weeks for our wedding and then honeymoon and we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it so carefree without them!! Kevin kept us posted with updates daily and our dogs absolutely loved him. When we leave town again later on we wouldn’t have anyone else take care them; I truly could not recommend them enough!!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pattison walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pattison maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pattison choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pattison. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
