About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life! We had a family dog when I was growing up and I would house/ pet sit for my neighbors when they would go out of town. I currently have three fur babies. A 2 year old Cane Corso/ Stafford Terrier named Moose, a 2 year old pit bull mix named Oakley and a cat named Romeo! Having three animals under one roof has been quite the experience but I’ve loved every moment of the chaos. Since I currently work from home full time I’m available Monday- Sunday most weeks and my schedule is pretty flexible. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Working from home allows me to keep a close eye on your baby and adhere to whatever potty break or play schedule you have set.
“Sandy is the best!! She truly loves our dog Lulu and Lulu loves her! That gives us peace of mind when we are on vacation that Lulu is in such great hands! We have been lucky enough to have had Sandy every time we needed her for Lulu! She goes the extra mile, even by leaving us, cute picture, keychains, and refrigerator magnets of our sweet dog!”

“Allison dropped in on Kobe for multiple days while I was commuting in and out of town for a work event. She responded quickly and was flexible. She followed directions and gave great updates and photos during the check-ins. We would definitely use her again in the future!”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover who would treat your pets like family. I love both dogs and cats of any breed or size—though I definitely have a special soft spot for giant dog breeds! I've regularly been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and I often handle overnight stays for my sister-in-law, who is a top-rated Rover sitter herself. Whether your pup needs a high-energy walk or your cat just wants a quiet cuddle, I’m dedicated to keeping your fur babies safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Monday – Thursday: Available for early morning walks, potty breaks, and feedings before work, as well as late afternoon through evening walks, playtime, cuddles, and dinner. Friday: Working from home! Flexible throughout the day, including lunch and early afternoon check-ins, along with morning and evening care. Saturday & Sunday: Flexible throughout the day, including lunch and early afternoon check-ins, along with morning and evening care. I know every pet has their own unique routine, so I am always happy to work with you to best fit your animal's needs As someone who will be coming to your home, I understand how this can make you anxious. As a homeowner myself, I promise to treat your house, any belongings (leashes, food/water bowls, etc) with the utmost care and respect imaginable. Any rules you may have such as removing shoes, feeding your baby in a certain location, excrement pickup will be followed to your desire.
“Jaci was amazing! So sweet to talk with and very attentive with any requests. It was my first time leaving my boy at home for an extended time and I felt confident leaving him in her hands. All of the photos and videos sent back were so cute and was a highlight every day to see<3”

About: Hello! My name is Ankita and I’m a college student on summer break. I’ve pet sit for many friends over the years and have experience with both dogs and cats! My brother has a dog and I’ve become very comfortable with all the responsibilities associated with them. Please reach out to me and I would be happy to discuss scheduling or any additional needs. Thank you!! I’m not working and do not have any major responsibilities so I will be available at most times. I would love to stop in, walk or spend time with your pets! My brother’s dog is constantly at our home and most of my days revolve around spending time with her! I always ensure that her environment is safe and clean, paying attention to her actions and needs, and spending lots of time playing and walking her! If you have any questions, please reach out.
“Madeline was such a great sitter for my two pups, Mars and Kawhi! She was reliable, communicated frequently, and was there to step in last minute when my schedule was crazy. My dogs adore her - she is excellent with them! Mars is still a puppy and she was so lovely and patient when it came to his work in progress potty training. I can't recommend her enough!”

About: Hi! I’m a longtime cat owner with 13+ years of hands-on experience raising and caring for cats since they were 2 months old. My cats are now healthy, energetic senior cats, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience understanding feline behavior, routines, and health needs. I’m experienced with all regular cat care tasks, including feeding, litter box cleaning, medication administration, grooming, and maintaining clean, stress-free routines. I’m also comfortable handling situations such as digestive issues, urinary problems, stress-related conditions like Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, ear/eye infections, and senior cat care. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and treat every cat as if they were my own. I’m free after 4pm in weekdays and almost full day available in the weekend. In the weekdays, I mainly available in the west Houston area and in the weekend, I can drive to any place in Houston. Please contact me for detailed availability and we can work things out. I’m a big fan of believing that if possible, indoor cats should not move around to reduce all kinds of incidents or surprises. So I only do drop-in visits to take care of your babies.

I’m new to Rover but very responsible, patient, and eager to give your pets the same love and attention I’d give my own. Friends and family have relied on me to feed, play with, and look after their pets while they’re away. I usually work morning shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays, but I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for pet sitting, walks, or drop-in visits. I make sure pets stay on their routine, get plenty of love and attention, and I send regular updates and photos so you feel at ease. My goal is to make your time away stress free , for both you and your pet.
“Sierra is punctual with her drop in visits. She is patient with our puppy who is still learning to not jump on people and to not attack the food bowl as soon as it’s filled with food.”

“This was our first time using Clare and Andi and we will definitely use them again! We loved the updates and pictures, even though one of our fur babies was too shy this time Twix loved her new friends!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pattison. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
