About: I’ve been petsitting/housesitting for 8 years in San Diego CA and when I travel for petsitting. My experience with animals ranges from a wide variety of chickens, goats, pigs, a pet cow, horses, lizards, snakes and turtles as well as; cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes I am available most weekdays for drop ins and walks; with limited weekend availability depending on the week. If my schedule shows I am available through the weekend, then I am! For dog day care or boarding I am the primary caretaker but there are two extra sets of hands available. I currently look from home during this part of the year and have a flexible schedule to accommodate! We have a fully fenced in yard and prefer to take in only one families dogs at a time. If you dog is comfortable with it or prefers it, I am happy to take them on outings with me around town. I live walking distance to a shopping center and a few parks. Safety is very important to me as well as keeping the animals safe. I expect that all dogs and cats I care for to be non aggressive and properly trained to be safe to all in public. If they are not I require that it be disclosed in full and discussed with me prior to the sit, drop in, or walking; I am familiar with and can accommodate almost all behaviors but I do require it to be disclosed before proceeding. My priority is the comfort of your pet within their environment as well as the safety of all within that environment including your pet. If there are any quirks or triggers that your pets exhibit it is expected that they be disclosed when booking a walk, drop in or house sit as they can be accommodated if they are disclosed before the walk/visit. Please disclose if your cat is a frequent scratcher or biter, or if you dog has a rage/bite history for the safety of all parties.

About: I have over 15 years experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up living with large breed dogs in my home and have gained experiencing caring for dogs, cats, and other critters (birds, tortoises, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) all of sizes in my community as a trusted sitter and Humane Society volunteer. I have cared for dogs young and old, puppies who required constant care and seniors with mobility support needs. I am comfortable administering oral or topical medication and bathing dogs upon request and direction. I currently live with a curious 9 year old feline named Luna and am planning for our next four legged friend. Since moving to San Diego from the Bay Area, I’ve missed daily walks with my family’s dog, a Siberian Husky Malamute mix also named Luna, and cherish each opportunity I get to bring that care, joy, structure, and stimulation to a dog’s daily life. Safety, trust, and wellness are my top priorities when engaging with your pet. It is important to me to honor each pet’s unique needs, personality, and boundaries with each meeting. I look forward to being a loving, reliable human in your pet’s life. I am currently working remotely with a flexible schedule. For Summer 2025 drop-ins and walks, I am available between 8 am and 8 pm Sun-Sun. Trust and reliability are central to my work as a sitter and caregiver. As no two pets or homes are alike, it’s important to me to understand you and your pets’ unique needs and preferences and adapt my care accordingly. I want to keep your pet healthy, happy, and safe, and your home clean and comfortable. I love snapping photos to keep you updated on how your pet is doing throughout our time :)

“Michelle was absolutely great taking care of our little one and our home while we were gone for 13 days. She is a rare find and a truly calm, gentle soul. She definitely earned all her great reviews. We did a meet and greet first where she came to our home and we knew after that meeting that she was the one! Finding a great pet/house sitter is harder than it seems. So many on Rover don't really seem to understand the meaning of house sitting. It means you actually live in the house with the fur babies not leave every 4 hours and be gone all day. Rest assured Michelle will live in your house so your anxious fur baby remains in their comfort zone and routine. I work from home so I wanted to mimic that level of human presence that out little guy has become accustomed to and she was able to provide that. Michelle took care of little chores like watering plants and feeding our fish, but most importantly she took care of our little baby with plenty of play time and constant companionship. She was very responsive over messenger even though we were in another country. And when we came home the house was perfectly clean and in order. We highly recommend Michelle for pet/house sitting and we will certainly be using her again!”

“Jeffrey was terrific. He made an appointment before the sitting date to meet our dog Annie and discuss housesitting. He showed up at the date and time we requested. He took our dog on a daily walk and she really warmed up to Jeffrey. We really appreciated that he did some household items like take out our trash, check our mail and any packages that arrived. Our house was as clean and picked up as when we left. Jeffrey even made sure to make the guest bed that he was staying! 😉 We would definitely hire Jeffrey again. We feel he is a very dependable and conscientious house sitter. When Jeffrey left at the end of the sitting appointment, Annie wanted to follow him outside. 😀 Obviously, Jeffrey has a great way dogs. Highly recommended.”

About: We lost our 14 year old yellow lab and I really miss having a dog around the house. Pets are special family members. They entertain, love unconditionally, and relieve stress. I am a pet lover and would love to help care for your furry friend. I believe they need a lot of "tender loving care" and plenty of exercise. I would be great for dog walking/running or pet sitting. I have a home in a quiet neighborhood with a large fenced back yard. If you ever go out of town, I would love to care for your pet at my house and am very trust worthy. I would welcome any breed. Your dog would get plenty of TLC with no pets or no kids in my house! I don't have any pets or kids at home. Your dog will get top notch care as shown by my high ratings. Dogs deserve the best! I have a large fenced yard and a very safe environment. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I specialize in senior dog care. I have also fostered dogs and have placed them with loving homes.

Bianca H.
“Bianca is an amazing sitter. Every time I need someone to care for my cats , I call her because I know she will take great care of my babies 🐈⬛. She goes and beyond with her care, often bringing treats for them and keeping me up to date on pet related news and information. She helped me with recommendations for allergy friendly food and litter which has made a huge difference for me and the cats. She is great at thinking of creative ways to provide enrichment and always sends me photos of the fun. My cats’ space is also always tidier after Bianca leaves. She’s quick to solve any problems that may arise and is a reliable, clear communicator. I don’t trust anyone else with my home and babies.”

Sherry D.
“If I lived back in San Diego still, I would have my dear friend, Sherry walk my dog! You will not find a kinder, more loving dog person anywhere! I love my dog, but Sherry loves all dogs and people, actually. Her dog, Maggie, lived a long healthy life and that is because her mama took such amazing care of her, like she would with anyone's dog. You would be so lucky to have her care for your pet! I'm jealous that I don't live there, so I could have her walk my dog!”

Raquel P.
“Raquel is incredibly responsible and sweet. She is an animal lover and treats all animals with love and as if they were a part of her family.”

Rebecca D.

“Very reliable! House was clean and cats were happy! Would definitely recommend Rebecca!”
