“I'm so thankful to have discovered Alexis as a caregiver for my pup! The location is perfect for my work commute. Our dogs get along great and my little puppy Kash gets stimulation and socialization with other dogs and humans. Alexis is obviously a "dog person" and shows love towards the animals. Alexis showed me the living area in the home on the first visit in order to make me feel comfortable. There are dog toys on-hand in the home plus a small grassy area outside where the dogs can go to the bathroom (with supervision). At this point, I have no hesitation recommending Alexis.”
2. Richard T.
“Buster had a blast with the dogs in the yard. He was all doggie smiles when we picked him up! On top of that, I booked for the wrong day and Richard was nothing but nice about it, and completely accommodating. We’ll be back when we come through Pittsburgh again.”

About: I love dogs and cats, well, animals in general. I have had cats since I was 5 years old and transitioned to dog owner 20 years ago. I had to unexpectedly put my dog Gracie down and it was devastating. I'm not ready to have a dog if my own again.I do miss having a dog in the house and dog sitting allows me to care for dogs without the emotional attachment. I would like to help you out with your pet care needs while you are on vacation or just at work and don't have time. I am able to pet sit your dog in my home, and I am also available for overnight boarding. I am available at all hours for sitting/boarding. When your dog is in my care, he or she will be treated like they are my own dog. Plenty of belly rubs, butt scratches, and most importantly, love. I do have a large fenced yard for your furry friend to enjoy fresh air, and sunshine (well, sometime there is sun. It is Pittsburgh after all). My house is a small ranch so no steps to climb but plenty of room to roam around or nap. When outside in the yard, they will be supervised at all times. I never leave dogs unattended in my yard. Plus, I do love to watch them play. Dog sitting is my only income and your dog will never be without attention. They will be treated like the king or queen that they are. There will never be more than 2 dogs in my care at any time. I have a small house and I simply do not have the room. I do have a large, fenced, backyard. They will never be left alone outside. Also, I do not leave the house when dogs are here. I will only leave for emergencies.
4. Michael H.
“Great experience! Super friendly and my dog had an amazing time!”
5. Gabriel S.
“Gabriel was a great pet sitter! He watched Meeko two days in the same week, and on the second day Meeko literally ran into the house and didn't even look back! Gabriel was fast to respond any time I sent a message asking for an update. Meeko was ready for a nap when he got home both days so I know Gabriel spent time walking and playing with him. It's always hard to leave your pup with someone you don't know personally, but Gabriel was the ideal sitter and we will book him anytime we need care!”
6. Lydia R.
“Lydia took such great care of my Tillie while I had a long day at work. I was at ease knowing she was in such greats hands all day. I loved the updates throughout the day. We’ll definitely be booking again!”
7. Josh O.
“I highly recommend booking with Josh. We've done a few day boardings (for a few hours) with a walk and my dog LOVES the visits. Josh goes above with a nice long walk, is always welcoming and kind. It puts me at ease to know my dog is well cared for and is enjoying his time away from me. Josh is always quick to respond.”
8. Erika L.
“Thanks, Erika. We had a great time. Enjoyed the walk and play. Love, Watson and Finnegan”
9. Ana & Alvaro M.
“Ana and Alvaro were stellar dog sitters for Charlie! They were extremely accommodating and understanding of our needs and did an excellent job. They're also very kind and have a great space to take care of the dogs they watch. The only downside is they're not located closer to me, otherwise I'm sure I'd have them watch Charlie more! 5 stars. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕”
10. Kathleen K.
“I can not say enough good things about Kathleen. She is wonderful with dogs and very conscientious. My dog is usually very anxious. I worried about leaving her but it was a wonderful experience. Kathleen sent lots of pics and kept me updated about all the fun Luna was having. I am thankful to find someone I can trust with my anxious little pup.”
11. Brian B.
“These two were great on both occasions with my boy. They were able to meet him where he is at with his special needs (slow to trust) and provide patient introductions. We are booked for another day of daycare and will continue to book with them.”

About: Hi! Come hangout with Finn and I! Although Finn is my only current pet, I have owned two other dogs, who have sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. Loki was my pitbull who passed in her senior years. I had her since she was 2, and have experience with senior dogs, medication, etc. Maui was my special needs bully mix who had spina bifida. With that came special diets, diapers, and a whole lot of personality! I'm a working professional who works from home! If I'm going to have my pup Finn, why not welcome yours as well into my home. I've seen the chaos at doggy daycares, and my home can be their place of more peace. Although my yard is not fenced in, I do have a dog run. I live on a quiet, virtually dead end street in Mt Washington. My house is a small 1 bedroom, and the dogs have free reign. I have lots of dog beds, blankets, and toys. Dogs are allowed on the furniture, and can watch endless Hallmark movies if they so choose! 🙂Because Finn is 2 and only 13 lbs, my ONLY REQUIREMENT is that your dog must be dog friendly, no small prey drive, etc. Thank you!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and would treat someone else’s pet as if they are my own. They would always get plenty of love and attention !! I have trained many dogs - house training, jumping, etc. I’m only required to work my job 3 days per week so I have plenty of time to help others with their pet needs. My schedule is flexible and I choose my work days. I have many places that I can walk and exercise dogs. My home has sidewalks, parks and much room for play. I am attentive and will give your pet one on one time everytime I’m with them.
14. Emily M.
“Emily, Thank you for pampering Addie, guiding her through "firsts" (stair adventures and basic commands), and for sharing your home with her. ~TM”
15. Sebastian O.
“Very friendly and our dog came back home very relaxed and happy! 😃”
16. Frances R.
“Frances is the best. Took Gizmo kind of last minute and was very accommodating. Her home is quiet, safe and very cozy. Everything a scared little Pomeranian needs to feel safe. She communicated throughout the day which I appreciated being a 1st time “Roverer”… we already made plans for day 2 with Frances. If you come across her profile (which obviously you have); don’t hesitate to reach out, you’ll be glad you did!”
17. Laura V.
“Laura was very kind and capable with our dog. Our guy can be a little yippy, and she handled that well around another dog. She sent nice pics and cared for him well. And her location right near the Incline was a great place for us to start our day.”
18. LINDA Z.
“Linda watched my Diamond girl for years from a puppy until she was 2 years old. Linda loved Diamond and Diamond loved going to Lindas. the only reason she does not watch Diamond anymore is because we moved away. Leaving your furbaby with Linda would be a great choice. Lots of LOVE.”
19. Leah S.
“Leah was great. Even though my dog is tiny and a little shy he got along great with her and her dog, and she sent me texts throughout the day telling me how much she loves him. I plan on rebooking with her next time I need someone to look after Chester.”
20. Charlie T.
“Charlie took great care of my puppy during a daycare visit. She was very communicative, sent a really cute picture update, and was very sweet about him. I would definitely use Charlie's services again!”
