About: I am a cat owner to two domestic shorthairs. One was adopted as a little kitty! I have much experience with both cats and dogs by caring after them for friends and family. I have flown across states several times just to pet sit!! P.s. One time I even got into a situation where I had to catsit two cats and five newborn foster kitties! “Tia was great! She accepted my request on short notice and made me feel at ease about leaving my boy Pete with her. We drove into town and needed a sitter for a few hours. She was the perfect choice for Pete the Pug. He was safe and secure in her fenced in yard. She also made him feel right at home letting him on her couch as part of the family. He made a new friend, Tang her adorable dog. She sent pictures and even a video to help ease my mind about dropping him off with a stranger away from home. I highly recommend her. And if we go back to Pittsburgh I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. Rest assured that they will be cared for and spoiled to the best of my ability! I am a behavioral therapist who works with children and families. I have a hybrid job which means that I work from home doing Telehealth services and I also see clients in person at times. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. It is surrounded and my dog loved to spend time out there basking in the sun. I have a yard but it is not fenced in. My neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly.

About: Hi there! I work from home my two available days a week, which means your dog gets 24/7 companionship, frequent backyard potty breaks, and mid-day snuggles on the couch. I grew up with dogs, and I have experience with everything from puppies to seniors. I am experienced with medication administration, limited mobility, and managing separation anxiety. I also have experience with reactive and dog-selective dogs and keeping them safe and happy. I live right by Bird Park and in a very walkable neighborhood, and can accommodate 2-3 walks a day - but if your dog is happier cuddling/sleeping inside, that’s okay too! I’d like to match your dogs normal routine as much as possible and make sure they get as much play and rest time as they need. Your dog will be safe and happy with me! I currently work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday) so I will be available 24/7 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I request that you give me your dogs normal schedule, and I will follow it exactly to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. I am available after 3pm Tuesdays through Thursdays. Your dog will be the only pet in my home, and my top priority! I require a meet and greet before boarding to ensure we are the right fit. I will keep you updated with daily pics of your pup. I have a large crate in case your dog is crate-trained, but as I work from home they will just be hanging with me on the couch or dog bed - wherever they are more comfortable. My home is clean and free from any hazards to your pup, and I will follow your exact household rules regarding feeding and anything else. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. They will never be off-leash in an un-fenced area, and I will happily avoid any triggers that you make me aware of - just let me know!

She’s very attentive to his bathroom needs, which is so important at his age, and her yard gives him a great space to safely sniff and explore. Her home is set up perfectly for dogs, with plenty of cozy beds and spots for him to relax. The fact that she’s always nearby really helps keep his anxiety low, which gives me so much peace of mind. She also has a sweet little dog who gets along great with others. it’s been such a bonus for my dog to have a companion during the day. Christy is also very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which makes scheduling so much easier. I especially appreciate the regular photo updates she sends. they always brighten my day and reassure me that my dog is happy and in great hands. About: I’ve taken care of small animals since I was a kid. I was always the student who volunteered to take the class pet home for extended breaks from school. Some of the animals I cared for included leopard geckos, hamsters, and Guinea pigs! I have loved animals ever since 😊 Besides class pets, I grew up babysitting my Aunt’s dog, Oscar, whenever she went on vacation or needed some extra help. I got my first dog when I was 12 and he’s still living with us today. I am offering all services for small to medium sized dogs. I am relatively free for dog care through Rover as I work a part time job in my spare time. I also used to have a job at a doggy daycare so I have plenty of experience with dog behavior :) I can assure you that daily walks and cuddles with your pup fit into my schedule <3 We have one small dog named Gizmo who is a 9 year old Shih-tzu mix. He is super friendly as he loves both people and dogs! We do not have a fenced yard but we regularly take trips to the local dog park. Additionally, we have a fenced deck where the dogs can get some fresh air. I know it can be intimidating to leave your pet with a stranger. As such, I try to make everyone feel welcome. I assure you that I am dedicated to your pet’s safety and well-being and promise to care for your pet as if they were my own. They will become a part of the furry family for the duration of their stay ♥️

About: I’m back!! I pet sat when I lived in Orlando and then took a break. I am now in Pittsburgh and ready to welcome some new friends. I work from home full-time, in a single-family home with a fenced in yard. I have made a habit of rescuing animals (especially senior animals) and my pack would love some playmates.Whether it is joining in couch cuddles or afternoon zoomies, your little one will feel like part of the family. I have a lot of experience with a lot of different breeds. Including a few years of kennel experience as well as 30 years of personal experience. I have experience with senior animals as well as special needs animals, including blind, deaf, mobility issues, and incontinent. With those things comes a lot of experience in medication as well. Myself and my crew are excited to meet you and your fur babies. I work from home fulltime and a big home body. The most I leave is if I’m grocery shopping or grabbing dinner in the evening. I have a fully fenced in yard. Any boarding pups will sleep in my second bedroom in an appropriate sized crate/playpen. This is the area they would eat their meals as well.
