Recently stopped working and soon to be an empty nester when my daughter leaves for grad school. This will give me pretty much open availability. I grew up with dogs my entire life, and now as an adult with my own home, I’m lucky to have two of my own: Ally (4 years old) and King (2 years old). They are a huge part of my daily life and have taught me so much about responsible, loving care. I personally bathe my dogs, brush their teeth, and handle their basic grooming after learning how to properly care for them myself. I have a fenced in yard that we spend alot of our day in. My neigherborhood is very quiet and does not have a lot of traffic, I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to play safely. For cats, I have a safe and quiet room that they can have to themselves away from my two yorkies, but the yorkies have been around cats before and are okay with them.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid because growing up I would always come home with new ones all the time! I have all the time to play and train dogs now because I got one of my own. I also used to work at Sherwood South Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center as a kennel attendant. So I really have a lot of hands on experience on running a kennel as well as dealing with the hurt animals in the ER. And I know a lot about medication, routines and food routines so it shouldn’t be a problem with the experience I have. If I didn’t have to move to Lafayette Louisiana, I would love to stay at the emergency hospital, but we wanted to move to a family safe area. I really had a lot of love for the animals that I took care of and was really a great experience. I’m currently working part time and can sit or board pups durning the weekdays and weekends!! From 9am to 7pm I could walk the pups. Boarding whenever!! I have a black lab puppy at the moment and train and take her for walks very often. It would be great for her to have some pups for friends we have a fence in yard and a dog park as well!

Amanda was prompt with text responses, took on the job and sent us photo updates. It was a great relief for us. There were two other adult dogs in the house who were good for the full day and she took them out also even though we didn't ask for it. This extra service was greatly appreciated also.”
