About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.
“Vicky did daytime walks with our dog Darla while we were on vacation. She did a fantastic job with getting Darla outside as she's been having some anxiety lately about getting out the door. Vicky was also super flexible when Darla was having some diarrhea later in the week and adding on some potty breaks last minute. She got some super cute pictures of our girl as well! I would not hesitate to book Vicky again for walks with Darla!”

“Jessica went above and beyond for Daisy! She was so patient and understanding of our shelter dog's need for slow intros and some extra support learning to walk politely on the leash. She was super communicative and took care to follow all the instructions we gave her. We recommend her highly to anyone who needs walking/petsitting services!”

“Kaylee is an A+ animal caretaker! She walks my dog multiple times a week while I work, arrives on time and always sends a photo with an update. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy pet walker/sitter. Five stars all day.”

“Greg is the best!! My two dogs can be shy with new people but they instantly warmed up to him and they come back from their walks so happy! He's very punctual and goes the extra mile to make the pups happy!”

About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet. I ensure that your pet is healthy, happy and comfortable. I let them become used to me and work around them. This is their space a they should feel safe there.

Schodack Center dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah is awesome! Our little senior pup, “Tokki,” can get nervous with new people and Sarah was so professional and so kind with her—taking the time to bond and make Tokki feel comfortable before starting the walk. And Sarah kept us updated with photos and was very responsive every step of the way; would highly recommend!
