They kept me updated throughout the day, sent lots of photos, and made sure he had everything he needed—including feeding him his breakfast. “This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. About: I'll provide constant supervision of your pet. I enjoy interacting with animals. Although I am not a professional dog handler I have had a dog in the house for the past 12 years. I will do my best to provide competent care for your pet. I am currently retired from the Columbia County jail, after completing 23 years. I am a Navy veteran. My wife and I have twin boys who are all grown up and out of the house. As a result of this I have become a little bored. I would appreciate your consideration when deciding on who to entrust the care of your pet while you are away. You will be able to be rest assured that they are being taken care of. I am usually available all the time except for the occasional vacation I might go on. Weekends are no problem either. I am pretty much available year round. I like to hang out with my dog all day. Adding more animals to the mix is no problem. I like taking walks with them and I also have a fenced yard.

Kate is excellent in every way! Our dog's visit started outside with a wonderful greeting by Kate as we arrived to her home for the drop-off. Kate and Penny were clearly happy to see each other. Kate always checks with us to see if there is anything special that my husband and I would like her to do with, or for Penny during each stay. We love receiving the notes and pictures that Kate sent us during Penny's visit. Another wonderful stay!!!!
My dog had a great time on a last minute daycare visit with Logan, and was happy and tired coming home. Logan was extremely flexible and friendly and had a good setup for dogs to free roam in and out of the house into a fenced backyard. Will absolutely book again!
Chloe was great at communicating. Our dogs are pretty low maintenance, but it was clear that she wanted to know as much as possible about them in advance and my impression is that she would be very conscientious about any special care. They only stayed for an afternoon, but she sent updates and pictures. Would have Chloe watch our dogs again.
