I’m 20 years old and I have had a love for animals my whole life. I am experienced with cats, dogs, rabbits, and rodents, as well as being able to administer medication (injections, pills, transdermal, etc). I have worked at the local animal hospital for over 5 years, originally trained in boarding and now I am a part of the technicians department. I’m currently in college on the pre-vet track. Additionally, I have been pet sitting locally for the past 6 years.

When I do drop-in visits, my goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and completely cared for while their family is away. I follow each pet’s routine closely. Mealtimes, litter box or potty breaks, medications if needed, and any special instructions you provide. During every visit, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment, whether that’s playtime, cuddles, brushing, or simply sitting with them so they feel comforted.

Ashlyn has been fantastic! We needed her in a pinch & she was able to help with our two pups while we took a day trip to Lake George. She is very easy to work with & we love her availability!

Ashlyn was very cummicative. She updated me on how my cats were with her, and took pictures every visit of both my fur babies. My one cat has usually runs and hides when a pet sitter visits, but while Ashlyn was there, she was out, and even allowed Ashlyn to pet and interact with her. I the pictures showed a content cat, not a mad one, like we usually see in pictures. LOL. I really believe my cats liked having Ashlyn visit. I would definately use her again.

Ashlyn has been amazing with our cats, including giving meds to our shy sweet girl! Our cats are often hesitant with new faces and they responded so well to Ashlyn-she makes them comfortable and we feel secure knowing they are in good hands. Thank you!

Schedule
For the last 5 years, pet care has been a major part of my daily life. There are some weeks where I’m doing visits all day long for weeks on end. Being around pets brings me a lot of therapy and I love experiencing all their different quirks and qualities.
