I’m 20 years old and I have had a love for animals my whole life. I am experienced with cats, dogs, rabbits, and rodents, as well as being able to administer medication (injections, pills, transdermal, etc). I have worked at the local animal hospital for over 5 years, originally trained in boarding and now I am a part of the technicians department. I’m currently in college on the pre-vet track. Additionally, I have been pet sitting locally for the past 6 years.

When I do drop-in visits, my goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and completely cared for while their family is away. I follow each pet’s routine closely. Mealtimes, litter box or potty breaks, medications if needed, and any special instructions you provide. During every visit, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment, whether that’s playtime, cuddles, brushing, or simply sitting with them so they feel comforted.

Ashlyn is highly recommended. We met Ashlyn when our pet sitter had to cancel at the last minute. Luckily, Ashlyn was available and agreed to care for our dog and 2 cats at very short notice. Ashlyn’s communication with us was timely and responsive. She sent photos of our pets in which they looked happy and well cared for. On top of caring for our pets, Ashlyn agreed to move packages inside and gather our mail. Even though we just met Ashlyn we knew we could trust her with our animals and our home. We have booked her again!

Schedule
For the last 4 years, pet care has been a major part of my daily life. There are some weeks where I’m doing visits all day long for weeks on end. Being around pets brings me a lot of therapy and I love experiencing all their different quirks and qualities.
