“I couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter. Marcie followed my instructions, provided a comfortable environment with positive stimulation, kept me updated with messages/pics and was just an overall pleasant person. Wonderful job!”

“Our first time with Deanna will definitely not be our last! This is our first time in the area and Deanna made us feel so comfortable. My highly energetic pup did amazing in her hands with plenty of toys, yard space, and other pups to play with. Thank you!”

“Roy was amazing with my dog, Canelo! This was Canelo’s first time being cared for consistently, and it really threw him off his regular routine, but Roy handled it perfectly. He was patient, reassuring, and made sure Canelo felt comfortable. He took him on walks and even brought him to the park, which Canelo absolutely loved. I could tell he had a great time and felt safe the whole 3 days. Highly recommend Roy — definitely booking again!”

About: What sets us apart is our years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes—from German Shepherds to Yorkies. As a team, we provide double the care, attention, and love, treating every pet like part of our own family. Pet care fits naturally into our daily and weekly lives. Both Alan and I (Kimberly) work part-time and manage our own schedules, which gives us the flexibility to prioritize the pets we care for. Because we’re not tied to a 9–5 routine, we’re able to adjust our days around pet visits, walks, and overnight care. Caring for animals isn’t just something we fit in—it’s something we genuinely enjoy, and we’ve built our lifestyle to make room for it. We love the balance of spending quality time with pets while also being available and reliable for their families. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we make sure to follow the routines that pets are used to—whether that’s regular feeding times, walks, play, or just quiet companionship. We know how important consistency is, so we give attention to the details that help pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. For walks, we keep them enjoyable and safe, tailoring the pace and length to each pet’s needs. We’re also mindful of things like weather, paw safety, and any special instructions from the owner. At home, we already care for our two dogs, Sugar and Kandy, so we understand firsthand the love and attention pets need every day. That experience translates into the same care we provide for others’ pets, treating them as if they were our own.
“As always, Merri runs to the door. Pleased to be with Bari and Sonny and all her furry friends. I love the care and attention knowing Merri is tucked away safely, having fun while I work. Thank you!”

“Highly recommend Reginay! Was a short notice ask for care and she made it happen! She was superb with communication and I felt like Jax and June would be safe and cool in the summer heat:) will definitely be suggest her to friends and reach out when we are in the area:)”

“Katherine was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Vigo. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with all different kinds of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.”

“Daisy came home from doggie daycare with zero stress. Shera took her time letting our cattle dog learn to trust her. Lots of updates and our dog looked happy in Shera’s home!”

“Patty was a great communicator and took wonderful care of our dog. She sent pictures of him playing ball in her backyard. He was very happy when we picked him up.”

“Anthony is a very patient and understanding dog sitter that I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Sacramento area. I could tell he has experience working with dogs. His home is comfortable and he has a large backyard for dogs to roam around in. I was probably more nervous than I needed to be since my dog can be pretty reactive towards new dogs, but Anthony and his dog Millie provided a very welcoming and supportive environment for my dog. He also texted me update pictures that I really appreciated.”

About: What sets me apart is being home full-time to provide constant companionship, plus having a friendly French bulldog who's great with other dogs for socialization and play. My two teenage boys absolutely love pets and will provide even more attention and interaction throughout the day. My securely fenced yard gives pets plenty of safe exercise space, and I have specific experience with French bulldogs and brachycephalic breeds, including understanding their special needs around breathing, temperature, and exercise limits. This knowledge also helps me provide attentive care for senior dogs or pets with special requirements. Pet care fits seamlessly into my family's routine. I start with morning walks and feeding, then take natural breaks throughout the day for quick walks or play sessions, I provide pet care in both my home and clients' homes, depending on what works best for each pet and family. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard where dogs can play safely and get plenty of exercise. My friendly French bulldog loves having companions and is great with other dogs, so visiting pets get both human attention and canine socialization.

“Anna did a spectacular job in caring for my pup, Bitsy for daycare! My pup is small, anxious and shy so it’s important to me that someone can be understanding, compassionate and be patient with her; and Anna succeed in that! Really appreciated Anna watching Bits for several hours without worry. Highly recommend her!”

“Chris is great! Butters is the sweetest dog and they both made my anxious pup comfortable almost immediately. His yard and home are tidy and safe. He also went to great lengths to put my mind at ease and was incredibly flexible and easy to work with. He also sent me a really cute video of my dog playing with his dog and the neighbor's dog. Above and beyond service for a very short daycare highly recommend!!”

“I highly recommend Joel! My old girl was calm and happy after her day stay. Extremely considerate of Lola’s needs. She’s a picky pup and can be stressed by strangers, but not with Joel. Didn’t have to worry about her safety or well-being. A great help and huge relief.”
“Our dog Greta had a wonderful time staying with Brandee for an afternoon/evening. She is looking forward to returning to Brandee's house for boarding. Brandee is very warm and caring, and I knew Greta was in good hands.”

Caroline was very communicative and took great care of our dog, Millie. Millie takes a while to warm up to people and Caroline was happy to interact with Millie on her terms. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day which really eased our minds! I would book a service with Caroline again.

Kylie was the first person we chose to watch our puppy, Birdie, off rover and we are so happy with our decision. She's so sweet and updated us throughout the night on our pup which made us feel more at ease. We will hands down be contacting her again for future stays.

Patty was amazing and so flexible! We're from out of town and wanted to float the American River and couldn't bring Pretzel with us, so we decided to book Rover for him. She sent us pictures and was very communicative which we really appreciated! We'll definitely be booking with Patty again if we are in town :)

Marlene (and her pup, Paquita!) gave us such peace of mind while we were busy. They gave Chancho somewhere where he could both relax and have fun with another dog with his same energy level. They have a beautiful backyard that I'm sure he enjoyed very much! We'd highly recommend Marlene and will definitely be reaching out to her in the future. :)
