“Mellie had an amazing time going to doggy daycare with Sara!! She is a very anxious girl typically but was always super excited at drop off and had the best time playing and sunbathing in the backyard and napping in the various cozy spots throughout Sara’s home. We will definitely be booking again!”

“Sarah and Josiah always take great care of our pup! He was so happy to hang out with them today and is absolutely exhausted now that he’s home - which means he had way too much fun!”

“Sherry is the ONLY person my dog not only will go to, but was EXCITED. Like, running to her 😍 Loving and kind, Sherry was just what Wyatt needed who is usually extremely anxious in new settings.”

“Freddy and Monica were perfect for my little girl! She is shy and takes a little while to warm up to new people and friends but she quickly made herself comfortable and right at home with Freddy and Monica. They were professional, attentive to her needs/safety, and took great pictures of her throughout the day. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again!”

“Cynthia is wonderful. My husband and I talked about adopting a dog for a while, but we weren't sure how to solve the problem of leaving a dog home alone for the hours we work. A coworker told me about Rover, and I checked it out. The reviews of Cynthia and her location prompted me to contact her. From the first time we met for a meet and greet, I was comfortable with her and with her leadership style. Her own dogs are well-trained and sweet-natured. This past week, I left my 4 month old puppy Mia with her three days, and Mia loves it there! She got out of my SUV by herself for the first time just to go greet Cynthia and her dog Amani. Not only does Cynthia manage multiple dogs with grace and gentle alpha energy, but she also gives me tips on how to communicate with Mia. I'm so glad Mia's got a place like Cynthia's to go during the day to go on hikes and socialize with other dogs.”

“Vanessa allowed my puppy to feel right at home during his week long stay. She took many pictures and is very knowledgable and responsive.”

“Murray had a great time with Rosa!”

“Greg and his daughter, Angela did a great job with our 6 month old Golden-doodle. She was definitely worn out when we got home so obviously had good exercise.”

“Lauren always takes great care of my sweet girl either overnight or for doggy daycare. She has a large yard and other dogs for socialization. Overall a wonderful sitter!”

“Thanks Debbie for taking really great care of my sweetie! With him having separation anxiety I appreciate the pictures and special attention to make him feel comfortable.”

“Erin is very responsive, flexible about timing for drop-off and pick-up and I can tell she loves doggies! She stayed in contact with me throughout Milly's stay to let me know how she was doing! Large fenced in back yard for the pups to run and play! When I picked Milly up, I could tell she had a great time (even slept the three hours home)! I will definitely be using Erin in the future when we travel to Elon to visit my daughter and would recommend her to others staying in the area! Thank again Erin!!”

About: I have a natural way with dogs, backed by years of reading and research on dog behaviour and well-being. I provide a calm environment for dogs, working to meet their needs and encouraging social behaviour through R+ training. I am a very active farming mama, mostly home on our 25 acres with my kids. I can walk or run with the dog(s) daily, plus lots of outside enrichment, training and/or brain games as well as making time for quiet naps. I have lots of opportunities throughout each day to engage with pets at my home. I can care for clients’ dogs at our 25 acre farm that has fields and forests for sniffaris and running around. Ivy, our 4 year spayed female dog is very good with other dogs, tending towards ignoring and peace keeping. clients’ dogs. Clients’ dogs will be housed inside at night, with lots of time outside from early in the morning until late evening. I can help train, groom and administer medication with clear instructions.

“My dog Marlee as timid as she is, went right in the front door. Before I left she was wagging her tail, shortly after meeting the other pups. It was great knowing Marlee was in a good home environment and the large fenced in back yard option. Although they had construction going on, I felt like Marlee had plenty space to roam. If I’m ever back in this area again I would definitely trust them with my Marlee again.”

About: I'm your purr-fect pet sitter, dedicated to caring for both your little and big fur babies! Pet sitting is a passion of mine that I thoroughly enjoy and love. Each pet brings its own unique personality into my life, and I cherish the bond that forms, like gaining a new bestie with every visit! Throughout college, I supported myself by pet sitting for coworkers and friends, treating each furry baby with the same love and attention I would give to a child. You can trust that your beloved pets will be in excellent hands under my care! I'm open to caring for all dogs and cats, catering to their individual needs and preferences. Whether they love car rides, walk, play with chew toys, or snuggle up for some quality time, I'm here to provide the care and companionship they deserve. Let's make every moment together a tail-wagging, purr-fectly delightful experience! I currently work from home so I have a pretty flexible schedule to care for your fur baby when needed. I go for walks throughout the day during my lunch and 15-minute breaks. I live in a safe apartment complex that has a designated area for your pet to run and play. I stick to a consistent feeding schedule and ensure clean, fresh water is always available. IF grooming needs are needed, I love to offer paw-spa days :) Most importantly, spending quality time, offering love, attention, and affection is my favorite part of having a furry friend! Whether in your home or my home, I provide attentive and responsible care tailored to the specific needs of your pet and the situation!

About: I've been working with dogs since childhood - my parents raised Pekingese & Dobermans. Even at 8 years old, I helped mama dogs birth their pups. My schoolmates thought it was gross, most adults thought it was weird, but I thought it was super cool to be a part of bringing life into the world through adorable little squeaking pups. Even though we were very ethical & loving with our pups, many backyard breeders are not, so I no longer agree with that. But as an adult, I fell in love with rescues & adopted a few over the years. Then I decided I wanted to be more involved with Rescues. So... I became a Foster Parent, assisted Black Dog Rescue, & was an integral part of Cooper's Companions Animal Rescue in Colorado before moving to NC. I usually ended up fostering unadoptable dogs & working with them extensively until they became adoptable. Then followed up with their new pet parents to help ensure success & making it stick. My specialty is working with fearful dogs, teaching pet owners how to get the behavior they want from their pet, leash training, & training dogs to walk on a treadmill. We have 2 little dogs who had a big 'sister' for many years, so all size dogs are welcome; Both of our pups are super dog-friendly. One of them loves to play with other dogs, and the other will play sometimes, but can be a bit of a snob. We want all dogs to enjoy staying with us, but... we won't tolerate a 'truly' aggressive dog in our home. My dogs don't attack other dogs, so should either of my dogs be attacked or if a human is bitten, the offender will be separated & crated inside, or placed in our separately fenced kennel area outside (only if you prefer) for the remainder of their stay. Any issues will be discussed with the dog owner to establish their preference in this regard. Otherwise, we'll shower your fur baby with love & attention so you won't have to worry about them when you're away. Please note: ***We will only board dogs which are spayed or neutered.*** If they are not spayed/neutered, we will be happy to do drop in or house-sitting care, but we will not be able to host in our own home. P.S. Rover says my response rate is 50%, but that's only because when I've been looking for a sitter for my own dogs and someone tells me in a message that they are unavailable, I don't usually respond. I just keep looking for an available sitter, so the software assumes I have a low response rate. 🙄 I work from home, so I'm almost always available unless we're on vacation or if in the event that I have to go on a business trip. We have a fenced in yard for your pup to play in. The previous home owners put in a separate fenced kennel, so that's an available option in case you prefer your dog to be separated. It's unusual, but some people do prefer that. We almost never use it, though.

About: I’ve watched after many dogs, cats, and even bunnies of all ages since I was 12. While neighbors would go on vacation, they would rely on me to go over to their houses at least 3 times a day. I have three dogs myself and have been on ROVER for over a year. Usually my dad will come with me for meet and greets/first visits. Having three dogs myself, pet care is a big part of my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to give plenty of time and attention to your dog(s). Walks, playtime, and making sure everyone is comfortable are priorities for me every stay. My family has a fenced-in side yard where dogs can safely play, and I also have three dogs of my own who love meeting new friends. If needed, I have multiple large kennels for crating to keep everything safe and organized. I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for while they’re here!

About: With extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, small animals, and birds, I provide attentive and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s daily exercise, companionship, specialized feeding, habitat maintenance, or medicine administration, I ensure every pet stays healthy, happy, and comfortable while in my care. As a stay-at-home individual, I have flexible and consistent availability to provide attentive and loving care for my own pets as well as others. My home environment allows me to dedicate ample time to meet the daily needs of animals, including feeding, exercise, grooming, and companionship. Whether it’s for regular care or occasional pet sitting, I am committed to ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of every pet under my care. My presence throughout the day enables me to respond promptly to any special needs or emergencies that may arise. I understand how important your pet’s comfort and safety are, which is why I take great care to provide attentive, loving, and personalized care whether I’m looking after pets in your home or mine. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines and instructions closely to ensure a familiar and stress-free environment. In my home, I create a calm and safe space where pets feel welcomed and relaxed. Building trust is my top priority — I take time to get to know each pet’s unique personality, preferences, and needs. I’m patient and gentle, allowing pets to feel comfortable and secure with me at their own pace. I provide regular updates and communicate openly with you, so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for at all times.

About: I've been taking care of my pets for years, I've taught them basic commands like sitting down, bending down, I have their schedules and I love playing with them I currently have all the time available to take care of your pets, So I can take them for a walk in the morning schedule, Take care of them while they go out to work, and even take care of them if they go on vacation I respect the routine that the person tells me, they sleep inside the house, go for a walk and play with their all time possible

“Second time using Danielle with our third already booked. She’s fantastic, takes great care of our border collie, and even tidies our house!”

About: I have had cats and dogs throughout my life and have always been an animal lover. I have lots of experience with cats, dogs and horses and animals are comfortable with my calm nature. I am an honest and ethical person who believes in treating your pets the way I would want mine to be treated. My schedule may vary from week to week, but will revolve around the needs of the animals; generally, I work part-time from home and have a very flexible schedule. In your home, I can care for small to medium dogs, and cats of all sizes, as far as walking, playing, feeding, scratches, cuddles and belly rubs:-). I am only hesitant to walk large dogs if they may pull on the leash. Large, laid back, calm older dogs should be fine if they need to go for walks on the leash.

Brenda M.
“Hello, good day. My experience with Brenda Macias for dog care has been excellent. She is a person with a strong sense of responsibility and love. This sentiment is not only evident in her presence but also confirmed by the animals themselves. She owns three dogs whom she adores. One of them, Vela, she adopted from the streets despite Vela having suffered from abuse and consequently having difficulty walking. Additionally, Vela no longer has teeth, so she requires special food. Brenda welcomed Vela as part of her family, and Vela reciprocates that gratitude every day. Therefore, I highly recommend her for the care of your dogs.”
