“Masha took excellent care of our kitten! Tuna is safe and sound, and got lots of great attention while we were away. We'll happily book with Masha again in the future!”

About: I am a 5 year experienced veterinary technician who has worked primarily with small animals in multiple practices across the United States. I am currently enrolled in veterinary medical school pursuing my doctorate at UIUC in their college of veterinary medicine. In addition, I am a life-long pet owner myself! I grew up with dogs in a variety of sizes, as well as cats. As a veterinary student, I have classes in the morning and sometimes afternoon. This should not be a concern as I still have plenty of time to watch pets! I care for pets in the owners home! As a veterinary student, I am living in an apartment which is not always the appropriate place for watching certain large-sized dogs. I also have a cat of my own who is terrified of dogs!
“David did a great job taking care of our 1 year old cat Eggbert, he got plenty of play time and had fun hanging out. I loved reading the detailed updates after each visit. Highly recommend.”

“Excellent first Rover experience! We were a little apprehensive to leave our girls, especially our older cat Blackberry with medical conditions, with someone through a website, but we were extremely pleased with the quality-of-care (and cute photos!) Michelle provided. Our directions were followed exactly and all three of our girls very happy and healthy when we returned. We would absolutely book with them again!”

“Sarah was a wonderful pet sitter! We got updates and pictures, which were not expected but totally appreciated. She was communicative, easy to work with, and so very kind to our doggies, even spending a little extra time with them. We couldn’t be happier with her!”

“My German Shepherd dog fell in love with Tanya at first sight! She's obviously loves animals. Everything went great, will definitely book Tanya again! Appreciated the photos of my dog and cat while I was away!”

About: I love 'em all. Grumpy, rambunctious, shy, reactive, or odd, I want to get to know your pet and take the time to learn from them and you about what they need in a caretaker. I have a soft spot for large, wild rescues. I am an avid hiker and can bring your dog on an enriching adventure, or we can take it slow in the neighborhood and stop to smell every few feet. If it's shorter at-home check-ins you need, I'll be sure to be present and involved the whole time I'm with your buddy. Long walks? I'll plan the route. Quiet company inside? We'll get along famously. I'm all about respecting you, your pet, and whatever you need from me to make your life a little easier! Please note that I also have a lifetime of experience with small mammals, rabbits in particular. I am skilled in administering meds and understand their behavior well. During the weekdays, I am most available in the early mornings and mid afternoons through evening. That being said, just ask and I can very likely flex my time! While I don't offer boarding in my home (I have a free-roam rabbit), I am more than willing to work with whatever home situation and expectations you have! My default is to be as present as possible. I will take good care of the needs of your pet and your space – you can trust me on that. Just let me know what you expect in your home and you'll be sure to see it happen!
“Joey & Sydney are flexible and leave detailed descriptions of each visit. I feel confident that my cats' physical and social needs are being taken care of when Joey & Sydney are watching them, even my shy cat will meet them at the door from time to time. I highly recommend booking with them!”

“Danielle was great with my two cats! They loved having her come over and play and just hang out and cuddle. She also came to meet the cats and see how everything was laid out in the house. I will definitely use her again!”
“Awesome cat sitter!! We were updated with pics regularly, and Archie even changed the batteries in our smoke detector for us when it started chirping to make sure our kitty was safe & happy.”

“Madeline was so great with my cat, Sophie. She spent time with her and sent cute photos each day. The litter was always taken care of too. She even brought in my packages that were left on the doorstep, which was incredibly thoughtful and kind - thank you! Would recommend Madeline to anyone!”

“Words can't express how thankful I am for Nina's care of my cats. She was prompt, responsive, gave great feedback, and did really well them. The house was well taken care of and the cats were so happy to have her play with them and feed them. Highly recommend!”
About: Hello! I’m a first year veterinary student with 3 years experience as a veterinary assistant at a small animal general practice. I’m skilled in safe animal handling, physical restraint, preventative care, and administering medications. I’m Fear Free Certified and always prioritize low-stress, compassionate care. Moreover, I’m comfortable with sitting for senior pets with medical needs. I have personal experience managing chronic illness in my own dog for 2+ years, including giving at-home subcutaneous fluids and consistent oral medications. I have experience with bathing and would be more than happy to offer baths or nail trims upon request for an additional charge. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priority. As a student, I attend classes during the weekday, but my schedule allows me to run home during lunch breaks and between classes for potty breaks, feedings, and check-ins. My evenings are completely free, so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship during the evening hours and will not be left alone. My home is a townhome with no pets and no children, providing a calm and controlled environment. There is plenty of space for pets to move around comfortably, and I can easily accommodate crates or set up separate areas if needed. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s established routines and household rules, including furniture access and sleeping arrangements, to help them feel at home.
“Kenzie took care of our cats, Nina and May, for two weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with her work. From day one, she showed great affection and dedication towards them, making sure they were well-fed, comfortable, and happy. During our absence, Kenzie kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was very professional and attentive to the cats' needs. When we returned, we found Nina and May relaxed and content, a clear sign that they were in excellent hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Kenzie to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you, Kenzie, for your outstanding work!”

Savoy cat parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time using Rover, and I’m really glad I found Holly. Both of my cats are very shy, and Holly was amazing with them. She never pushed or forced anything (even photos), and was super patient — just hanging out and letting them warm up on their own. Naru clearly loved her, and by the end even Pane came over to cuddle, which honestly surprised me in the best way. I also wasn’t very well prepared before I left, and my cats managed to knock over the camera more than once. Holly helped reset it every time and always replied really quickly, which made me feel so much more at ease while I was away. Overall, she made my first Rover experience a really positive one. I felt totally comfortable leaving my cats with her, and I’d absolutely book with her again.

Words can't express how thankful I am for Nina's care of my cats. She was prompt, responsive, gave great feedback, and did really well them. The house was well taken care of and the cats were so happy to have her play with them and feed them. Highly recommend!
Mary was so sweet with my kitties! She spent extra time at the meet and greet to make sure they were comfortable with her. I even got to see pictures of her kitties :) Everything went super smooth and will be sure to check her schedule when I am out of town again!

Ashley has been a great sitter for our three cats. The cats are a bit of a pain and require a bit of effort and coordination to ensure they don’t escape or eat each other’s food. Ashley handled everything perfectly. She is also very responsive and gives detailed updates. We are repeat customers and will definitely ask Ashley to sit for us in the future.
