I work full time as a certified veterinary technician Monday-Friday and am available for drop-in visits in the evening on those days, and am available for longer length visits on weekends.

I ensure that fresh water & food is provided, and make sure that litter boxes are cleaned (for cats) and outdoor potty breaks are provided (for dogs). If the pets are allowed treats I love to give treats, and love to spend time playing with them if they are up to it!

If a pet is fearful of new people or any certain mannerisms/behaviors (such as petting certain areas of their body) I like to know, that way I can make sure not to cross a boundary that they may have.
A typical day
I love to make sure that the pets I care for get as much of their energy out as they need to, especially for sporting breed dogs or any dogs with a high energy level! I will gladly play fetch and run around with them as long as they like.

Pet care experience
I started petsitting professionally in 2018, although I grew up caring for a variety of family pets as well, including dogs, cats, parakeets, a guinea pig, and a hamster. I have cared for dozens of other family's pets, including both large and small breed dogs, cats, and small mammals. I am now a certified veterinary technician at a local veterinary clinic and care for dogs, cats, and small mammals there on a daily basis.
