My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

About: I’ve had house dogs for most of my adult life. I recently had to put my little guy to sleep after 13 years and I’m looking to fill that void he left! I’m patient and loving. I now have a 6 pound chihuahua that’s 9 and very laid back I’ve just started this business but you won’t find someone more passionate about caring for your dog I work a few part time hours and would be pretty flexible with my schedule. I’m comfortable giving medications, cleaning bathroom uses both in and out of the litter box, and more. About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

From 24/7 all around care and attention: Diet, exercise, interactive play, traveling included, bathing/grooming, and medical care. About: Beyond generic dog sitting for family as a kid or walking the dogs around my neighborhood (which I did), I currently own two small breed rescue dogs. One is a seinor with IVDD, and the other is a puppy with a luxating patella, so I've seen both ends of the scale. I am no stranger to giving animals insulin shots and medications, dealing with accidents of all kinds, animals with mobility issues, managing untrained dogs, and more! Also, I have fostered dogs before, so I am well aware of the proper way to introduce yourself to an animal, dog body language, warning signs, and stress signals. Ever since I've gotten my newest puppy, I've really been put through the wringer training wise. I've learned positive ways to shape behavior in dogs, even in a short amount of time, and I would never dream of using aversive behavior management methods unless that is currently part of the dog's training plan. For cats, I’ve spent years growing up with and living with cats. I’m experienced with giving cats syringe medications and shots. Scooping litter and cleaning up accidents is no big deal around here! I work part time, and I have a vehicle, so I’m able to attend to your pet’s needs whenever necessary. I’m used to waking up at dawn for walks, and I am certainly no stranger to a middle of the night potty break. Your pet’s needs will always come first. All boundaries are always respected for animals. I’m a stranger in their home, and I am very aware of that. My job is to keep them fed and walked and safe. I love animals, so I’m always happy to give pets or cuddles, but only if they ask.

Im happy to attend to your pets before and after work, in the evening and overnight, lunch breaks as well if needed. I prefer to "sitt" in your home in order to help keep them as comfy and on the same routine as possible. I believe in following the care instructions of the parents to a tee. I will give your fur babies lots of love and send you pics or videos if you'd like. I am trustworthy and dependable.

While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

She is a 70 pound great pyrenees and Ishaan has sent us pictures of her chilling on his lap while he works at his home office. He has taught me how to handle her on the leash better without being pushy about knowing what's best for my dog, although he is very qualified to handle dogs and could probably teach us all a thing or two.
