About: With 6 years of pet care experience, I provide dependable, loving attention to pets of all ages. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, and giving extra patience to senior pets. My priority is keeping pets safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. I work full-time in an office but have flexibility to accommodate different pet care needs, including evenings and weekends. Happy to discuss a schedule that works best for you and your pet. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they feel safest. With a long-standing record of looking after both dogs and cats, I ensure they receive attentive, loving care while you’re away. I respect your home, follow your routines, and prioritize your pet’s well-being at all times.

About: I’ve cared for low, medium, and high energy dogs, small, medium, and large breeds, friendly and reactive. I’ve dealt with food allergies, leash-pulling, SQUIRRELS! and anxious dogs. My 4.5 year old just passed in July 2025 due to cancer. He had food allergies, was reactive to other dogs, and was extremely smart and athletic. He was also very vocal and obsessed with toys. He was trained in the basics, running with me, basic scent work, counter conditioning for his emotional outbursts, and random tricks. He was very selective about who he liked and suspicious of strangers. I had a lab as a kid who loved absolutely everyone but would steal your food if you weren’t paying attention. I’ve had experience with dogs of many personalities and needs. I will treat your baby like my own. I can work with dogs of any age. I am available on most weekends during the school year, and any time during winter, spring, and summer breaks. Weekend walks, drip-ins, house-sitting, and boarding are all easiest for me. Weekdays are tough because my regular job is a teacher. Walks: properly fitting harness and leash, treats, following the rules of the road/crosswalks/etc. Client’s home: follow your instructions for dog care; always make sure dog is happy, fed, watered, crated or otherwise secure in the home etc. as asked. Doors will be locked when I leave and your home will look as clean as it was when I arrived when I leave.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs throughout my childhood and they’re just the best. They always seem to read a room better than humans and I’m always surprised at how in tune they truly are. It’d be so fun to hang out with your special friend! P.S. I’ve truly changed up my opinion on cats in the last few years. I used to think they were pretentious but now I find it amusing the ways you need to earn their trust. I’m currently in a transition period and traveling a lot, so happy to walk them and check on your pups when I’m in town. Also, I’m open to dog/cat sitting at your residence when you are away. By being attentive, having fun with them, and putting their safety first. Not my house, not my rules. Whatever the owner wants is what goes down.

“Alexis did an amazing job caring for my dog. He’s big and he has a lot of special needs. Alexis was extremely reliable and caring, making sure his medical needs were met and giving him lots of loving. Highly recommend!”

“Svetlana was great and went above and beyond. One of our dogs unexpectedly pooped in the house and she cleaned it up and even picked up the poop in the backyard (though we did not expect that of her!) she jumped in when our sitter cancelled last minute. Thanks again!”

“Shakuntala is such a joy to work with! Our puppy Ares adores her and looks forward to their time together each day! She is informative, kind, and loving to Ares. She takes the best photos too which is so great to see when we are away at work :) I would HIGHLY recommend her to take care of anyone’s pets as she picks up on their routines so quickly and makes sure that both the owners and pet are happy at all times! We are so thankful to have met Shakuntala and can’t wait to see all the great times and memories she will be making with Ares.”

“Vanessa is quick to reply, always goes the extra mile, and my very skittish cats feel safe with her. Vanessa is always our first choice for cat sitting for short or extended periods of time. Her professionalism is unmatched by any other sitter we’ve tried on Rover.”

About: I have experience in caring and training a puppy, being able to provide 24/7 dog care including training, feeding, and potty breaks. I work from home so I have the time to provide exceptional care to your pet. I am currently a full time work from home with open availability to care for your pets needs. I do also have a 8 month old puppy that is great with other dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a safe home. I take the time to make sure I have a clean and safe environment for my puppy and any pets that come into my home!

About: I've owned and cared for animals for most of my life, I also have about 3 years of experience working in a dog hotel and daycare. I'm currently in between jobs, and can devote most of my time on pet care. I have a completely flexible schedule and love spending time with animals. I am currently not accepting any animals to board at my house as I have cats that would not appreciate the company. E e e

About: Here’s what a day in my care looks like: • Mornings: Gentle greetings, medication as needed, and quiet breakfast routines. • Midday: Fun play sessions—string toys for cats, fetch or leash walks for pups—followed by rest time. • Afternoon/Evening: Cuddle breaks, interactive play (feather wand or squeaky toys, depending on pet), and a final check-in before bedtime. I love both dogs and cats equally—whether it’s brushing a fluffy cat’s fur or playing tug with an energetic dog. I’ll always tailor care to your pet’s personality and needs, from administering meds to keeping them on their regular feeding schedule. What I Offer • Drop-In Visits • Dog Walking • In-Home Boarding (if applicable) • Comfortable with medications, special diets, shy/responsive pets—just ask! • Open to caring for multiple pets at once—just tell me what they enjoy (or don’t!). Why Choose Me • Thoughtful, patient, and detail-oriented—your pet’s routine is my priority. • Quick to communicate, thorough in updates, and eager to keep pets relaxed and happy. • Testimonials available from previous caretaking experiences—even outside Rover! Can’t wait to meet your furry friend and build a trusting, happy connection! With a full-time job in the office four days a week, most of my pet care availability is on weekends. That’s when I can dedicate extra time to walks, play, and all the attention pets could want. Weekends are perfect for longer visits or overnight stays, making sure every pet gets plenty of attention while their owners are away. I live in a cozy one-bedroom apartment in Saugus that’s quiet and peaceful since it’s just me. The building has great pet-friendly facilities, making it easy for dogs to get plenty of exercise and for cats to feel safe and comfortable. It’s the perfect environment for pets to relax, play, and feel right at home.

“Shirley is amazing! I had a last minute cancel and Shirley was able to step in and take great care of Charlie! She sent some great action shots and kept me updated the entire visit! I definitely recommend using her! 10/10 will book again!”

Elana M.
“Elana is a dog whisperer. I have never seen her meet a dog that didn’t like her. She loves dogs, and they love her. She adopted her own dog from a rescue organization and raised him from a puppy. She has trained him exceptionally well and has kept him in excellent health. He is a big dog around 60-70 pounds. She has also cared for numerous other dogs, including my dog Hazel, who is about 45-50 pounds. Elana is very knowledgeable about dogs, dog training (positive reinforcement methods), and keeping dogs healthy and happy. She is very capable of dog sitting and walking almost any dog even if the dog requires special care, a special diet, or some extra patience due to anxiety or other issues. I have ask her for advice about dog training myself. She has more experience with medium and large dogs but can handle any size dog. Elana would be a great choice for a dog walker or dog sitter.”
