“Marea was responsible with her time at our home. She communicated daily and sent photos of our boys. We very much appreciated her being here during our vacation so that our boys could stay in their comfy and secure space and that the house was lived in. She pulled in our trash cans off the road and fed our wild yard birds, too. We live rurally and we appreciated that Marea drove in and out of the city to be here. The house was left tidy and everything was in its place when we returned home.”

About: I have taken care of pets of all kinds throughout my life. My 13 year old Mini Daschund recently passed and I would like to help out other pet parents with my free time! I have owned/fostered dogs like huskies, pitbulls, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Great Pyrenees, and labs. I understand the feeling of not wanting to leave your dog at home but knowing that life doesn't always flow with that. I have pet sat and walked dogs for over 20 years and understand that patience is the best policy for pets. I love treating animals like they are my own with lots of spoiled love! I work for the school district so early morning walks/visits and afternoon/evening visits are best. During the weekend I am available almost all the time! Being aware of surroundings and the signals the pet you are handling are giving you are the most important things for safety with pets. Offering care in my apartment would be limited to dogs that matches my own personal dogs energy but my own personal pets would never have to come stay with me in others homes/care visits!

About: I've taken care of, trained and loved animals since I was little. Growing up that infatuation grew into a dream to have my own kennel and business. Now I own and operate Pawsitive Journey, so in a way uou could say that dream has turned into a reality. I'm experienced with a wide variety of behaved dogs, puppies and more. About: Hi! I’m a middle school teacher, mom to 4 busy kids, and dog mom to ‘Jersey’ our mixed rescue. My house is a welcoming home away from home for your pup. Now that my kids are a bit older, I have a lot of time to give to your pup in the summer and would treat them like my own. I LOVE getting outdoors and walking as much as my legs can allow. Summer break allows for our family of six to enjoy the neighborhood. I have the flexibility to be home daily. Although my children are in multiple activities, I am always close to home. I will be out and about quite often driving kids to different places, but are never gone for more than a few hours. I am able to leave and take your pup for a quick walk multiple times a day, or welcome them into our house over the course of a couple days. My house has a fenced in yard in a nice family neighborhood. Our dog has her base camp on our upper level den, but we have a safe and separate area for your pet in our lower level that will be all theirs! I will walk multiple times daily and care for your pet as my own. My family has lots of love and cuddles to give if needed, but if your pup is more of a recluse, they can adjust accordingly!

About: Guaranteeing love, attention, and compassion when you need to step away from home regardless for length of time or reason. I am highly dedicated to my families and their furry family members. I add a touch of difference with the care I provide to all of the animals I work with in that I treat each one individually and never work in a "cookie cutter" approach. I started working with and training animals (horses and dogs) at the age of fifteen. Throughout the years, my interest and passion with animals grew, as well as my experience. I currently have two dogs, a german shepherd and a very entertaining rescue mix. With my german shepherd, we are a K9 team with a search and rescue organization where we are called upon by law enforcement only for people who go lost or missing throught the upper Midwest. I still currently train dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, in addition to training service dogs through an individually owned local business. Due to my long-term experience, I am able to adapt to your pets' individual needs with age, both young and old. I am trained in pet first-aid and CPR, and I am comfortable with any prescribed medical care needs you may have necessary for them. I truly enjoy building a sincere bond and connection with each family I encounter so that when they step away, they can feel at ease and enjoy their time without distress or worry. Topnotch care is my priority! I have decided after many years of working in family care industries, that my remaining years, I want to follow what was my childhood dream. I currently have a fish named Blueberry but would love to be out in the community to be able to help you and your family with dog or cat sitting. About: I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats from two different boarding facilities, one larger and one smaller, personalized facility! I currently work as a groomer. In addition, I have both volunteered time at the local senior dog rescue, Grey Face 🤍 while also fostering multiple dogs over time. I work with dogs on a daily basis all ranging from walks, training exercises, enrichment, grooming and nail maintenance, etc.. Please ask about any services I may be able to provide! My personal dog is the contributor to much of my experience as well. I have knowledge in training behaviorally challenged dogs with behaviors specifically focused on separation anxiety, human reactivity, bite risk/management, dog reactivity, and basic fear and anxiety in dogs. To me, a happy dog is one not only one that can play to their hearts content but one that also is allowed the time for mental enrichment through interactive toys, positive reinforcement training, routines, satisfying walks, and through games involving food and treats all of which I have learned through my own research and enrollment in online instructions. I would be happy to care for your pets and provide them with the most enriching time possible. Pet care is my daily and weekly routine! My schedule is flexible and ever changing- so, I can always check my availability and work to make your pet fit into my schedule if possible! I personally have a fenced in backyard; however, I have experience walking multiple dogs at a time and handling dogs safely in open environments. I make intentional points to always be attentive to dogs regardless if they are fenced in or not. When I am caring for someone else’s dog, or my own, I make sure their safety is guaranteed. This is a skill I have sharpened since owning a fear reactive dog and caring for multiple dogs on a daily basis.
