I am currently a middle school special education teacher and live in Sauk Rapids. I have two cats that are 12 years old. I am available nights and weekends. I took a few months away as I started a new job.

I rent a house and live with two cats, so most of the time I stay at the owners home. I find it’s best to keep dogs as close to their normal routines in the spaces that are familiar and safe to them. I can also help take care of minor chores then such as making sure the garbage can is out or watering plants.* not a big fan of biters since I had an infected dog bite a couple years ago and got attacked again last year while volunteering as a dog walker.

I love all animals, but like to have any information needed ahead of time so I can take care of them. If they have any medical needs I need to have specific instructions. I adore when owners give me information about their personality quirks as well so I can make sure I am making them feel as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love taking nice walks with dogs either around their usual neighborhood route or checking out a fun park or something nearby. When at home snuggle time on the couch is what I do this for to get my dog fix since I don’t have a pup of my own.

I have taken care of pets through word of mouth for about 10-12 years and have been on Rover for a few years now. I can take care of any pet really as long as the owner can help communicate their needs.
