“We love Kaitlin, she takes care of our puppy so well. My fiance works from home and we can count on her to get the energy out of our puppy so he can focus. And, if we are going somewhere, we know that if Kaitlin comes, our puppy is in good hands.”

“We are glad we chose to have Heather care for our senior kitty this past weekend. Her approach to offering services through Rover was very professional. She did everything we asked, was attentive to his needs and sent lots of pictures and details about her visits with him. We plan to reach out to her for future sitter needs.”

About: I have owned and cared for my own and other’s pets my whole life. I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and snakes - pets are my passion and I strive to help owners provide their animals with the best quality of life possible. My main dedication is pet care. I am available most days of the week, any hours needed. I work my personal schedule around the needs of the animals and pet-parents! It is something I am truly passionate about and willing to put in the extra time. I play with my kitties for a minimum of 30 minutes every day. I also play with my dog for a minimum of 30 minutes every day, or 60 minutes if the weather is not agreeable for a walk. Catboxes get spot cleaned daily and deep cleaned weekly. The dog and cats get routine preventative medication for fleas/ticks/worms, and the dog gets weekly baths.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—growing up with cats, rabbits, hamsters, chicks, and ducks. Since 2018, I’ve raised a leash-reactive rescue dog, working through behavior training, crate training, and potty training. He’s now a well-adjusted senior, and I’ve developed a deep understanding of pet behavior, patience, and compassionate care. I’m currently pursuing my nursing degree and seeking part-time work. I’m flexible throughout the week, with availability after 4pm on Saturdays. Reliable and consistent. I’m committed to providing dependable care that fits your pet’s routine and needs. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every pet care situation. While I prefer to care for pets in their own home to maintain their routine and reduce stress, I’m also able to welcome them into mine if needed. I have a securely fenced yard, a calm and friendly senior dog, and a clean, pet-friendly space where your fur baby will feel safe and loved. My goal is always to provide a nurturing environment that supports your pet’s well-being, whether in your home or mine.

About: Hey! My name is Erika and I've been around dogs my entire life. I know how hard it can be to say goodbye to your fur baby when you have to leave, so with no doubt, they'll be taken care of and loved the same if you were home. My pup, Moko, lives with me right now, and she's always down to make new fur friends. Pets staying at my home will always have lots of love and attention, stay hydrated, access to a fenced/private dog park, tons of play time and toys to chew. Ideally, they'll be kept on the schedule that you normally have them on, so it won't be any different when you return home. It'll always just be your pet and my pup, so there's lots of space and room to breathe. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to ask. Hopefully I'll see you and your pup soon! Pet Care: I offer most of my pet services during the weekend so I have adequate time to spend with your pup! If you're interested or would like to talk about boarding during weekdays, feel free to reach out and we can discuss how I care for both my pup and your pup during the week. Safety is my number one priority. Its important to do a meet-and-great, discuss behavior tendencies, and overview your typical schedule! Additionally when you pup stays in my home, they'll have constant supervision. If running errands, my pup and your pup will be in separate areas of the home - allowing rest from each other, rest from playing, etc.

“Daphne was a great communicator and took awesome care of our babies while we were gone. Our old pup Nala felt comfortable with them right away and that’s not an easy feat! Daphne is also on time, takes pics of your pets, and is just all around wonderful. Thank you, Daphne!”

“Samantha has been lovely with Hank and very reliable. We really appreciate her taking time to spend with him during the day. She always gives him love and keeps us updated, which we appreciate. I highly recommend Samantha if you need to ensure your pet needs love and good care.”

About: My name is Max! He/Him pronouns! I’ve been trusted to watch pets for weeks at a time, always leaving a clean environment behind. I do have weekly appointments on Wednesdays but they last one hour at 3pm. I love animals and want to make sure they’re loved back. Looking after the tails of Salem makes me feel as though I’m giving back to my community. Message me about a Wednesday and I’m sure we could work something out. 🌈 I’ll pet sit during the weekdays for now when I don’t have appointments. Otherwise I’m pretty much free and available at any time to start. I will rely on each clients instructions and preferences for their pet care and follow them. For in clients home care I would use what was allowed, take on walks if necessary. Never doing something that goes against a clients wishes.

About: I have always had a deep love for animals, and pets have been a big part of my life. Growing up with a variety of furry friends, including dogs, cats, and even a few small critters, taught me the joy and responsibility of caring for them. I believe every pet deserves love, attention, and playtime. I am dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your beloved companions. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing fetch, or just cuddling on the couch, I am here to make sure your pets feel right at home :) I am currently a college student and have breaks midday and am normally finished late afternoon. I have availability to make sure your pet stays on their usual schedule! I currently live in an apartment but I have grass right outside my complex and it’s super easy for me to take pets outside for walks or whatever they need!

About: I love animals and have had dogs my whole life! I am affordable with prices and have experience with dogs. I am able to do in your home care. I am a college student, so I have at least 1 class a day. I work Fridays and Saturdays. I am happy to work around my schedule, however housesitting would be the best option. I can drive and am able to take animals out. I do in your home care and/or drop in visits. Depending on the timing, we can figure out what’s best:)

“Sydney was awesome with my pix mix! My dog can be anxious and aggressive when meeting new people. Sydney did great with him, giving him the space he needed at first and from there built a good relationship. Looking forward to having her come again!”

About: All my pets and your pets will receive individualized care, training (if needed), and lots and lots of love! Walks, spontaneous hikes, runs, swims, movie nights, cuddles, play time, and anything else your pet expects and enjoys will be apart of their care! House Sitting will only be an accentuated version of this with your pet family! If you request DOG WALKING: I only provide services to clients who would like walks outside of their immediate neighborhood. Think hiking and dog park trips. That is an hourly activity with a mileage rate and my availability for this is extremely limited. Please contact me as this is a special request. This is good for very active dogs who enjoy trail running and long chunks of time outdoors. DROP INS: I have very limited availability on this. It depends on my House Sitting clients and their needs. Since I give individualised care, I’m only able to do one drop in client. This is on a job to job basis and does change depending on overnight bookings. Please contact me as my calendar doesn’t reflect availability well. I’m currently taking on house sitting during the school year while I’m in Salem with Nashville clients in Dec/Jan and the summer months (only two weeks in June/July). I make all my furry clients a priority and try to take them with me to the park or on errands during the day if I’m busier than usual. However a normal day looks like long walks, lots of attention, cuddles, and activities. NEW: FLY IN clients! I have recently started doing high priority fly in client bookings. Bookings have been in New York and Nashville. If you, family, or friends need a sitter for weddings, long over seas trips, or care in another state, please reach out! When I’m in a clients home I pay special attention to each pet’s routine and try and match that as best I can. I ask for detailed notes, a thorough run through of each pets schedule, and any additional information on things that keep my clients pets comfortable.

“This is a review for my second Rover booking with Becky. Becky was out of town, but Ryan stepped in and took great care of my cats. He let me know Becky wasn’t available and he could cover for her. He came over to meet me and the cats and we all liked him. Trip was great! His visits were timely and he kept great contact through Rover with updates and pictures. I’ve just scheduled my third Rover booking with Becky and Ryan. Couldn’t be happier with their services.”

About: I've dog sat for several people close to me. They have entrusted me to look over their dogs - including an elderly dog - while they were out. I have administered scheduled medications, made sure the dogs were enriched and had exercise, fed and walked, and built bonds with these dogs. My career goals all involve working and caring for animals; any opportunity to provide care to your pet would give me more experience for my future. Though I have my own animals to care for, I am currently unemployed - which means I will be able to give my time to your animals to the best of my ability whenever needed. While in your home, I will give your pet the time they need to open up to me. I will not push them to come to me. I can crate pets if needed and I don't mind sleeping in the same bed as animals. I will follow any directions I am given completely.

“Emily is amazing!!! She was there when I needed her. Always prompt and on time. I was out of state helping a family member move and it was very stressful so knowing my Zoe was taken care of and getting daily walks made me feel so much more at ease! I will always use Emily :)”

She has her own dog, Mo, when Mo chose Alexis he had some leash reactive issues. well, through time, patience, training and being a loving caring person they were able to workout those reactive tendencies. And now Mo is the best dog he can be. If I needed someone to watch or care for my dog, I would most definitely have her! So, if you need someone to care for your pet/friend I would trust Alexis. Thanks for your time! Oren B.”

Even when she was a tiny girl, she loved walking my big dog, Rocco, who was twice her weight and didn’t bat an eye at poop scooping, grooming, etc. She is a natural with all animals, and has lovingly cared for everything from a gecko, to my backyard chickens, and horses as well!
