I am currently a substitute teacher so I am not working full time and I am available most days to help out for a short time or extended times. About: Hi there! I'm Melayna, and I'd love to help out with petsitting and walking. I just moved here with my furry friend and would love to meet yours! I love animals and have had many of my own so I have experience caring for pets. I also love being outside so I can take them on walks and play with them! I am currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. My schedule allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my routines. I understand how important consistency can be for pets so l am happy to adjust to your pet's needs and schedule to keep them comfortable while you are away! I treat every pet and home as if they were my own. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats my entire life. I have taken care of dogs for a while as well. I am very reliable and love to see animals happy, so I try to give them the best experience possible. I currently work part time at a doggy daycare, I am available for drop in’s in the morning and afternoon. Otherwise I’m fully available in the afternoons. About: As a kid I was taught responsibility by caring for our horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish and guinea pigs. I’ve had pets all my life! My mom’s cat almost died of a bacterial infection in her mouth and I’ve helped administer antibiotics to her until she got better. I had a cat who had kidney disease and needed to have IV fluids every week. My other cat had to be mouth fed with a syringe as well as monitored via thermometer up his butt. I have house and pet sit for friends and family that have multiple pets, most recently for a friend that had 6 dogs of all sizes! I am an active individual so walking will be a treat for them and me! :) I have given dogs and cats baths and also cared for dogs in heat. I have a very open and wide range of availability and I am available most days, including weekends and holidays as I rarely ever go out of town. It would be great to develop some long term relationships with new pets and their owners! Repeats are always great but not expected. I will do what I can to work with your schedule and the needs of you and your fur child. I will do my best to maintain consistency and high-level care when it comes to your pet. Each pet is different and I try to get to know each one individually in order to gain their trust and yours and provide the best care possible. Often times, I will send pictures to the pet owner, especially if it is a new client or a pet owner is out of town for an extended amount of time. I am easily reachable and try to communicate clearly about wants, needs, and scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet prior to providing a service, but it is not mandatory, especially for last minute bookings! We have a small yard in front and neighbors that will walk their dogs but they are all on leashes and well behaved. We live in a newer and safe community and I often take my dog for a walk around the neighborhood. There is a small park down the street which is nice too. We also have a fenced in backyard which can be seen from the inside of the house or the porch. We live in a one story house, but there are steps from the porch to the yard outback. My husband lives with me and has also grown up with cats and dogs. We currently have one male cat Santiago who gets along great with our male Chihuahua Juan Pablo and also got along great with my former senior Maine coon cat. He is a bit weary of strangers at first, but he will just hide until he gets to know you a bit and then you won’t be able to get him off of your lap. We have a gate in between the kitchen and the rest of the house so that the Chihuahua can have free rain to walk around and not have to be in his cage when we are not home. In the event that we have another animal in the house we can keep the Chihuahua in his cage. We also have two bedrooms and two baths that can be used to separate animals.The Chihuahua is very friendly and gets along great with the cat. He is also a bit skittish at first with strangers but once he gets to know you all he wants to do is give you kisses. He is very non-aggressive and barely ever barks. He is also very friendly. I feed my cat both wet and dry food twice a day in his food dish and he has water out constantly. I feed the dog twice a day, sometimes dry food, and sometimes refrigerated dog food. I let the dog out several times a day and we go for a daily walk as well. I clean the kitty litter box once a day. I snuggle and cuddle with both of them as much as possible, and play fetch with the dog at various points throughout the day.

About: I’ve worked with both puppies and senior dogs at houses. I’ve had a lab since 12 weeks that’s well trained and very friendly. Outside of my own dogs, most recently was 7 dogs with a wide range of breeds and ages for 8 days. Ages ranged from 6 months to 20 years. Visits multiple times a day and stay to make sure they all were content after being outside. I have online classes Tuesday and Thursday 1-4 pm. so I cannot make availability during that time. Any other time or day fix’s into my schedule. We have a big yard for my dog who is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She’s fed twice a day and goes on walks early or evening so the ground is cooler. Past houses I’ve taken care of usually have fences and sleep in crates or on couches inside. They get let out multiple times a day and get fed twice a day. Some have requested for walks other just specify that they go outside for a bit.

My dog is a rescue who I raised from puppyhood—so I don’t mind accidents, teething, training, etc. I’m vigilant about safety with dogs, especially around cars and roads, so you can rest assured knowing I won’t let anything happen to your pup. I also grew up with two very energetic dogs in my home and I know how important pets are to each family. We’re an Army family but still hold our Midwest roots dearly :) I work part-time remotely, so I’m home and available all day and in the evenings. I’m happy to stop by to play with your pup and take a break from work, or go on my evening hot-girl walk with your dog by my side! I will treat your pet like my own when they’re in my home! We love to play, wrestle, and snuggle on the couch! My dog has free rein so she lounges on the couch, her beds, our bed, etc. Your dog is welcome to do the same! We can assess how the dogs get along and decide how to leave them if I have to step outside—we also have baby gates where I can separate the dogs if that’s best. I do not have any children so there aren’t little toys for your dog to get into, and I’ll keep all food and shoes put away. I like to think my apartment is quiet and cozy, so I’ll be sure to provide a calm environment for your pet! I am able to go to your home and meet your pet in their familiar space. I am open to all notes and tidbits about your home, your neighborhood, etc so that your pet has the best experience with me.

About: I have been in the veterinary setting since I was sixteen and I've been a veterinary technician for a couple years now! I am now focusing on the most important thing in life which is family and I would love to take care of your fur babies when you need it! I am a certified forehead kisser and a great conversationalist with the non-speaking, I do not discriminate on personality and/or breed. I am confident in my ability to make your fur baby feel comfortable in my presence and I can't wait to meet you! I am available early mornings to afternoons until about 3pm-5pm! (Open to longer days depending on your schedule) Weekend availability when needed. As of right now, I am not offering any overnight stays. Before taking care of your pet, I would love to meet them and also have you show me around your home and/or list out any specifications or requirements. (written out instructions are definitely a preference to have on hand!) If you feel comfortable having the pet at my home, I do live in a gated community with plenty of area for walks and outside time! My home is currently run by a cat named James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser (bonus points if you know who that is) and he could not care less about dogs so he'll just deliver the constant side eye. I am very comfortable administering medicine if needed (including injections) I do require some form of flea and tick prevention - whether that be Nexgard, Seresto collar, or essential oils.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, both dogs and cats, and there’s nothing I love more than being able to interact with both of these animals! Pet care fits great into my daily routine because I have so much time with my day due to the fact that all I do is go to school and workout. At home I often take my dog where ever I go. Going to the gym so is he! Going for a walk so is he!
