About: I’ve had dogs growing up my entire life, and plan on getting some of my own once I complete nursing school! I am a nursing student at Mary Hardin-Baylor so anytime I can come and check in on your pets, give them some love and attention, would make me happy! About: ** I have been an avid dog lover from the time I was a little kid and have had the privilege of having four dogs in my life, two currently. In the past I have taken care of a wide variety of dogs, from little Chihuahuas to large Saint Bernard and Newfoundlands, and I take care of two large Great Danes re-occurringly in my home! My time caring for dogs has involved me walking them 3-4+ times a day while also spending time to socialize with them, as well as feeding them at specified times, while providing them with personal space to eat if needed in my home. About: I’ve worked with both puppies and senior dogs at houses. I’ve had a lab since 12 weeks that’s well trained and very friendly. Outside of my own dogs, most recently was 7 dogs with a wide range of breeds and ages for 8 days. Ages ranged from 6 months to 20 years. Visits multiple times a day and stay to make sure they all were content after being outside. I have online classes Tuesday and Thursday 1-4 pm. so I cannot make availability during that time. Any other time or day fix’s into my schedule. We have a big yard for my dog who is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She’s fed twice a day and goes on walks early or evening so the ground is cooler. Past houses I’ve taken care of usually have fences and sleep in crates or on couches inside. They get let out multiple times a day and get fed twice a day. Some have requested for walks other just specify that they go outside for a bit.

“This was Mell’s first stay with Krysta and her family. She was kind enough to offer us a meet and greet two weeks prior to boarding. Mell felt comfortable right away during the meet and greet which I always consider a good sign. Krysta provided me updates and pictures throughout his stay, and asked for any need-to-know information to make his experience a good one. She was very easy to work with and coordinate dropoff and pickup, and she was very understanding when we were running a bit late for pickup. She answered all our questions prior to boarding and followed all our instructions. She provided daily updates with a lot of photos, showing our dogs had a great time with her.
