“Billy was an exceptional sitter from start to finish! He was incredibly responsible and communicative throughout the entire process, which made me feel completely at ease. I really appreciated how respectful he was of my time when he came to meet my dog for the first time—he was punctual, professional, and clearly experienced with animals. My dog took to him right away, and it was obvious Billy has a natural connection with pets. He kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Billy to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!”

“Katie was great with Georgie. She is a people-shy cat, and I was worried about her being alone for a few weeks. It took a little time, but Katie got her to come out for scratches and pets.”

“Sharron did an amazing job with our pup and worked seamlessly to provide care even when some of our plans and needs changed last minute. We rested easy on vacation knowing our dog was in such great hands! Highly recommend!!”

“Sarah was great! I was a first-time Rover customer as my senior grampa cat needed to have daily medicine during our summer vacation, and Sarah was able to drop in and get him what he needed. She was very communicative and easygoing, but most importantly, she made sure my fur friends were alive and well!”

“Lacie went above and beyond caring for our dog while we were away! She is a fantastic communicator which really put our minds at ease while we were out of town. We really appreciate her kindness and generosity for our dog, and we could tell he was incredibly well cared for while we were gone. We could not recommend her service enough! Thank you!!”

About: I’ve had the joy of raising and caring for two dogs—first a Doberman, and later a toy poodle—giving me firsthand experience with both large and small breeds. I also have experience working with children, and I believe the patience and attentiveness required for both roles strongly complement each other. In addition, I live an active lifestyle, so dog walking is not only something I enjoy—it’s a perfect fit. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk or a more gentle stroll, I’m happy to match their pace and personality. I’m reliable, observant, and committed to keeping your pet safe, happy, and well-cared for. I work full-time at Amazon, where I’m constantly on the move walking and running to deliver packages—so staying active is part of my daily routine. I work weekends and start in the afternoons, which means my mornings and days off (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) are ideal for weekday walks or drop-ins, especially for busy pet parents needing reliable care during the day. I currently live in an apartment, so at the moment I’m offering dog walking only. However, I’m excited to expand my services in the future as my space and schedule allow. My goal is to build trusted relationships with both pets and their owners while providing reliable, active care.

About: Your pet’s happiness is my main priority. I have experience with big dogs and small dogs. I've grown up with Mastiffs and Great Danes. I have always been an animal lover of all kinds. I have had dogs all my life! I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I am married so when I’m away taking care of your pets my husband is home taking care of ours. I used to use Rover briefly years ago to help care for pets as a fun side job but working another full time made my availability difficult to work with consistently. I recently decided to start being active on Rover again now that I have more availability because working with animals is something that truly makes me happy and I’m passionate about. Daily walking (if requested) and playtime are included with house sitting. I can make adjustments to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I want to do whatever I can to be their advocate out in the world. My pets are my babies and I will treat your pets the same. I enjoy training animals and encourage proper leash & obedience training. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies! 🥰🐾 I’m currently working part time as a personal trainer so I have plenty of time to play with your pets. I’m currently very flexible for pet care. I treat your pets like my own! I make sure they are always well taken care of and happy! We play as much as they want and will go on plenty of walks if requested. Can’t forget about the endless supply of pets and cuddles as they please! I also can understand and respect a pet that appreciates their space and has healthy boundaries.

“Paige was wonderful with our kitties. They were happy when we returned, so we could tell they'd gotten lots of snuggles. And she pilled our senior cat twice a day, which isn't the easiest task. We'll definitely reach out to her again!”

“Percy was our first Rover pet sitter. They were great. We had daily updates on our cats, with photos and our birdbaths and feeders were filled regularly. We felt completely at ease knowing that our cats were being well cared for while we were out of the country for 10 days. We can't recommend highly enough.”

About: Hey there! I'm a pet lover with tons of experience caring for dogs and a bit of cat sitting under my belt. I had my own dog for over six years and miss the joy of having a furry friend around. I'm all about giving your pets lots of love and attention! Plus, when I stay overnight at your place, my husband helps out too—he loves dogs even more than I do, and I didn’t think that was possible! I work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays and go into the office the rest of the week. I usually work from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, but I'm flexible on those days to help with your pets. If I ever need to be away for a while, my husband can jump in to help out! When caring for animals, my top priorities are their safety and well-being. I have experience with administering medication, as my previous dog was on a routine and I made sure to give her her meds promptly every day without fail. Even though we lived in an apartment, she still enjoyed four walks a day, with at least one being 30 to 45 minutes long, plus trips to the dog park at least twice a week. I believe that regular exercise and attention are key to keeping pets happy and healthy!

“I have a large lab mix who’s been struggling with some extreme separation anxiety because we just moved here from out of state. I needed someone to stay with her while I’m at work and Siri was so gracious and understanding of our situation and took great care of her! Great communication and flexibility. I felt very relieved knowing my girl was in good hands.”

“Jessica was so great! She followed all of our instructions, including making sure our somewhat shy cat got his medicine everyday! Not only did she do a great job with the cats she kept us updated and informed everyday and sent us pictures of that cats so we knew they were ok. I would absolutely recommend Jessica to anyone looking for pet care!”

About: I have experience caring for pets in multi-pet households, pets of different sizes and temperaments as well as some with special needs. I also have experience with medication administration. I am a part time Etsy Seller so have a very flexible schedule to fit in walks and drop-ins at any point during the day! When caring for pets in your home I am focused on making sure your pet is safe. This includes crating if requested, removing hazards, etc…

“Mary Louise was great with my dog. He's high energy and she has experience with dogs like mine. She communicated well and sent me an abundance of pics. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had big dogs ever since I was a child, I recently got my own dog, Xyla, in July and this was the first dog I’ve 100% trained on my own. I love dogs and working with them and thought this would be a great opportunity to do so. It fits very well as this is what I will be doing full time now. I’ll be taking the time out of my days to walk and care for animals. What could be better than that I currently have an open yard behind my apartment. I specifically got this one so I would have a sliding door so it would be easier to let my dog or others outside when needed. I have a chain in the grass that can withhold up to 90 pounds. Dogs are loved and welcomed with open arms here

“Big thanks to Rachael for watching my cat! She sent adorable photos everyday when she made drop-in visits. Each photo also contained a little update about my furry friend. Will definitely rebook in the future! ?”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats for the majority of my life. Growing up, I took care of the family dogs by walking them and brushing their teeth daily, brushing and bathing them often, playing with them, etc. I currently have a dog of my own that I care for and love deeply, and have had ferrets and cats before. So far, I have pet sat a cat on a couple different occasions. Last summer, I also pet sat a puppy for two months while the owners were busy moving. I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. I work remote on Mondays and Fridays, but do work in office Tuesday thru Thursdays. So Friday through Mondays I have availability and Tuesday through Thursday I am more limited on what times I’m available. I’m committed to making sure your pets keep as much of their regular routine as possible while you’re away! I have my own routine for my dog at my apartment, but I am aware and understanding of the differences in routine animals may have.

Haley S.Star Sitter
“Haley has taken care of my Maddie for 2 years. She takes her for walks, feeds her and spends quality time with her. Maddie was a rescue dog that is very shy and Haley has taught her to be more social. Not only does Haley take care of Maddie but she stay in my home and watches it while I am gone. I would not feel comfortable about leaving Maddie or my home if it wasn't for the fact I know i can count on Haley to take care of things.”

“I can’t recommend Gina enough. From the moment she met my dogs, it was clear how much she genuinely cares for animals. She is reliable, kind, and has calm energy which my dogs loved and trusted. She follows direction and went above and beyond every single walk. My dogs came home happy, tired, and loved—and that gave me such peace of mind, both dogs had health issues and that was no issue for her. She moved just recently and we miss her so much. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our lives! 1000% recommend her.”

Saint Paul dog parents share their Rover experiences
Annie helped us out on short notice when we needed our dog walked during the day. She had recently done some housesitting for us so it was like having an old friend drop by to help out. She took care of everything seamlessly and let me focus on the medical issue at hand. Most importantly our dog adores Annie and he can’t wait to play soccer with her again.
