“Leanna was so sweet with our elderly yorkie/Chihuahua. Not only did she provide last minute care for us but made sure Ivy was settled and happy and sent us updates. You can tell she not only loves dogs but is a lovely kind person. Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands on experience with pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs who need extra love and care. I’m patient, attentive, and trained in basic puppy obedience, crate training, and leash manners, which helps young dogs build great habits early on. For senior pets, I provide calm, compassionate care and understand the importance of routine, medication schedules, and mobility support. I treat every pet like my own, tailoring my care to their unique personality and needs whether that means active playtime or quiet companionship. I have recently graduated and am unsure of what I would like to do career wise. I figured it would be good to utilize my skills and love for animals to help out others! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in my client’s, I focus on creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that feels familiar and stress free for them. I follow each pet’s routine closely feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions to keep things consistent. I also make sure to give plenty of one on one attention, whether it’s cuddle time, exercise, or simply being present so your pet feels loved and secure while you’re away!

About: I’ve loved and been loved by many dogs over the years. I can provide joyful walks, belly rubs and set appropriate limits when needed. I don’t have a dog but do have cats so I can only host a dog who is comfortable being with cats. At mid life, I’m in between careers and thus have plenty of time to devote to your loved one(s). I currently work outside of my home 3 days a week. I’m also able to care for other species beyond dogs and cats. I have many years of experience with a variety of animals, especially birds. I’ve been a homeowner in downtown St. Augustine for many years and have been a professional psychologist for decades. I have three senior indoor cats and I have chickens in an outdoor enclosure. I’m well known by my neighbors to be an “animal person” and nature lover.

Saint Augustine South dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lyndsay and her family took great care of our precious little Billy! She was kind and responsive to us as we celebrated our 10 year anniversary night out in St Augustine. Billy loved playing with her sweet children and her wonderful golden retriever and kitties. We wield definitely book with her again, and are so happy with her care of our little dog.

Brittany was wonderful! She was so patient with our codependent boy. Her communication was above and beyond what I would expect from before booking all the way through. If you’re in the area vacationing like us, done be nervous. She is a 10 out of 10. Trust her with your fur baby and go have some pet free travel time!

Arin was great watching Romeo for the day. She was super responsive and provided updates about Romeo during his stay. Romeo was curious about her cats but one did not seem to particularly love Romeo and she quickly told me that she would place the cats in a different room which was great. Overall a great experience and would use her again if Romeo needed another sitter.
