Pet care experience

Your Pet Called-They Want to Stay

I have been working with, and caring for dogs and cats for many years. I have my own 17-year-old chihuahua Jasmine, who I love, and I have a decade of work experience as a kennel assistant and dog bather at a local animal hospital. I now offer daycare services for pets in the comfort of my single-family home with a fenced in yard, in a quiet south St. Augustine residential area. I have experience with pets of all ages and breeds. I also offer dog bathing, nail trimming, and dog walking services for an additional fee.

Marina did an excellent job of caring for my two dogs. It was there first experience like this and I was nervous. It was perfect. Marina sent updates and photos daily. She is professional and very kind. I hope to use her services again.

Gus is always well cared for when he visits with Marina. We are happy to keep her as our pet sitter for as long as she will have us. ❤️

Very easy, prompt communication. Marina's home and neighborhood are lovely. We appreciated that she sent some updates and pictures of the dogs throughout the day. Would definitely recommend!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I am a stay-at-home mother of two now and have chosen to make pet sitting a career choice. Being home all day, and with the support of my husband when needed, I can provide the necessary care and attention that your pet always deserves. Your pet will be treated like a part of our family.

Safety, trust & environment

Our home is pet friendly and safe because we too are pet owners. Given the opportunity I would like to earn your trust as a caregiver for your family pet as well. The environment I provide is very pet friendly, both indoors and also outdoors with a puppy picket fenced in yard. I have two indoor and two outdoor cameras to monitor the premises. I like to only take on daycare for two dogs at any given time. This provides for both safety and the care and attention your pet deserves. My services are offered for cats, birds, fish, and for dogs weighing up to 40 lbs. I give more consideration to pets that have all their vaccinations up to date and I have training in animal CPR.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes playtime in the backyard, cozy rest indoors, and plenty of love and attention. Whether it's playtime in the yard, cozy crate breaks, naps, or a nutritious meal, your pup will receive attentive and loving care during their stay.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Marina can host up to 2 pets per night
I always like to arrange for a Meet and Greet with you and your pet if possible. I also ask for a written introduction to your pet’s typical daily routine as it will help me provide the best care possible. Also include any health conditions, fears, or behavioral issues that I need to be aware of. I am not interested in accepting pets that are untrained or unfriendly with other pets or people. Note I am comfortable giving medications and administering shots if needed. Don’t forget to bring your pet’s food, medicines, bowls, bed, favorite toys, and crate if needed.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
