“Nishat is kind, professional, and reliable. I have two cats, one of whom is high-needs, skittish, and receives many medications. Nishat handles it all with aplomb!”

About: I am an animal lover who specializes in enrichment walks and play. All ages, 1 on 1 care. I am just like you! I have owned pets my whole life, I know how much they mean to our families and your boundaries and their health matter most to me. Happiness is everyone cared for and safe. I have a completely flexible schedule and I’ll be solely focused on Rover this summer and growing this business. I love to be outdoors and am an organized individual. My pet passed in February due to old age and so we have a full setup just waiting to accommodate a pup in need of a stay. We have animal beds, toys, A yard (not fenced in) with a chain run and lots of neighborhood to walk in! We also have a disabled person in the home with so much love to give to animals with a need for more affection and who can ensure someone is with your furry friend if we need to run an errand. We love a dog park or beach run if that’s what your pup is into, and our car is well equipped with baggies and h2o bowls to make sure any trip is safe and fun.

About: Hi! I have lived with at least one dog my whole life (most of the time 3) as well as 2 cats. I have had a year of professionally working with dogs at a daycare/ boarding camp. I am capable of working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and feel comfortable taking care of dogs with most health issues. I have a beagle who has epilepsy, and 2 pitbull mixes currently. As someone who struggles finding adequate care for my dogs while I’m away, my goal is to make you feel calm and reassured your pets are in good hands! I will be starting college in the fall of ‘23 in Maine. I will have Wednesdays, most of Fridays, Weekends, some afternoons, and most evenings off. I am looking to do some work this summer to get in to the swing of things but I already have 2 jobs so I don’t want to be overloaded. My schedule is variable right now but I am available on weekends for the most part. As I am moving in to a dorm, I won’t be able to care for any pets in my residence but currently I take care of my pitties in full. They are my dogs so I bathe, walk, feed, dress, cut nails, cuddle, give scratches, and much more to fully provide for them.

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and a cat my whole life, including senior pets with complex needs—so I understand how important patience and gentle care can be. For the past 5 years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and neighbors, from energetic puppies to older animals needing medication or extra help. I recently moved from Atlanta to the Portland area for a full-time job, and leaving my family dogs behind was one of the hardest parts. I work 4 long shifts a week, which makes having a pet of my own tough—but I have plenty of free time, love, and experience to offer yours. Pet sitting and walking helps fill that gap in my heart, and I treat every pet like family. I work full-time Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm, but I’m available for walks or check-ins before or after my shifts. I have open availability on Sundays through Tuesdays and plenty of flexibility to offer quality time with your pet. I’m also available for overnight stays—even on my workdays, as long as I can head out by 8am. Pet care fits naturally into my life, and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. While I can’t have pets in my apartment, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable. I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks, and can help with feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I’m also happy to transport pets if needed. I treat every animal like they’re my own—keeping them safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and been around dogs my whole life, trusting someone to take care of your pet while you’re away is a scary feeling but I will provide the best care possible for your fur babies I work from 7 am to 3 pm during the weeks and time changes by day but after 3 pm until whenever is needed I’m available More than willing and happy to play with cats inside or just give them the love they need for the day, dogs I’m able to walk and play with as needed

About: I'm highly dependable and punctual, and I always provide clear updates so you know how the walk went. You’ll never be left wondering—just happy to see your dog getting great care and exercise while you’re away or busy. I work a full-time job Monday - Friday, with remote work at the beginning of the week and an hour-long break each day for those local to my office in Portland. My weekends are typically open, as I have Saturdays and Sundays off work. Generally speaking, I may be able to accommodate walks before 8 am and after 5 pm throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their space and their routine with respect. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, refreshing water, wiping paws, or giving meds—and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you're away. For walks, I tailor the pace and route to your dog’s needs and energy level. Whether they’re a high-energy pup who loves to explore or a senior who enjoys a slow stroll, I make sure they’re getting the right amount of exercise, enrichment, and love. After every visit, I send an update so you know how things went and how your pet is doing!

About: Professional Pet Snuggler, Dog Walker Extraordinaire, and Treat Giver Supreme 🐾 I’m a mom of two young wild and wonderful kids (three, if you count my husband 😄) and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve lived with pets so long, I’m basically fluent in meow, woof, and squeak. With over 5 years of dog-walking experience, I’m comfy with pups of all sizes — from pocket-sized pooches to gentle giants. I’m also totally cool with cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even horses. If it has fur (or whiskers), I’m in! Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, your cat needs a snack and a snuggle, or your pet rat just wants someone to chat with — I’ve got you covered. I treat every animal like part of the family (and yes, I do talk to them like they’re tiny humans). Ready to bring joy, treats, and tummy rubs — can’t wait to meet your whiskered pal! As a stay-at-home mom, part-time admin, and dance instructor, I’m no stranger to juggling schedules — and I’ve got the flexibility to fit in pet care when you need it most. Whether it’s during the school year or the summer shuffle, I can usually make it work. Need a midday walk? A last-minute drop-in? A cuddle buddy for your cat while you’re away? I’ve got you covered! I don’t offer pet sleepovers at my place (our house is already a zoo!), but I’m more than happy to come to yours. Your pets will stay comfy in their own cozy corners while I handle the food, walks, belly rubs, and more. I'm super respectful of your home and always treat it like it’s my own. I’m also very mindful of home safety and security — you can count on me to treat your space with respect and care while you’re away.

“Hannah was great! I had to spring a last minute schedule change on her and she was totally accommodating. Spooky is a very shy girl and I'm very pleasantly surprised Hannah was able to entice her to come out!”

About: Provided dog walking and sitting services to a professor at my school. Provided a family friend’s dog with potty breaks, meals, and playtime while they were away. Own two dogs of my own. I take care of two dogs, two cats, and two guinea pigs. However we also have a turtle and two parakeets in my home as well. Every day I feed the cats and guinea pigs. Dogs need to be taken outside often. Guinea pigs need their bedding changed weekly. I will make sure all instructions are followed to a T. I understand how specific pet owners are about their pet’s needs. Dogs will receive plenty of pets, cuddles, and playtime while time when I’m around. Attentive care is my goal.

“Carmen is the best! I love the photos she takes of Meatball when she’s checking in on him so I don’t have to worry about him when I’m away. I think he likes her more than me 🙂”

About: I have about a decade's worth of experience with dogs and just love them. I recently moved to downtown Biddeford and have seen lots and lots of cute doggos in the neighborhood. I'm affectionate, perceptive and have a hard time passing by without saying hello (but I can tell you don't have time, so I just smile from a distance). I offer overnight stays at your place or I can come over early, spend the day with your dog and then leave at night. The price will be less, and I can create a plan that fits your dog's needs. Please contact me with details. In decent weather, I like to spend lots of time outside and place exercise as high priority. I also happen to be a neat freak so don't be surprised if I vacuum or wipe counters (on the flipside, your home should be clean enough for a guest to begin with or we're not a good match). I water plants as directed, take in mail, bring my own food and respect other peoples' privacy and property. I love the community and hope to add something to it. I'm a creative writer trying to make ends meet without a corporate ladder. I'm currently working very slowly on a novel and looking for part-time work. Dog sitting is a great way for me to spend quality time with dogs and still be productive in other ways. I never accept jobs without meeting in person first, and I don't know whether I'm going to take a job or be offered one until that meeting occurs.

“Victoria was excellent with our sassy cat! She was very knowledgeable and professional. We really appreciated her patience with our cat and the great updates with photos. We would absolutely book with Victoria again!”

“Completed drop in visits twice a day for a week, left comments and great photos of my cats, very communicative. Made me feel sure that they were okay while I was away. Seems like the cats really like her. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been working with animals for years now, whether it be dog sitting, assisting at a groomers, or now raising my own fur babies. Although our time together will be short, they will be treated just like family. Lots of cuddles and play time. I work full time but I work from home! My job is flexible if you need someone to pop in throughout the day. Most work days are 7-3:30 and I can certainly bring my set up with me for extended stays! My pets are my babies! I love them more than words can describe. They get alll the cuddles and attention one could need. I’m very observant and can sense when they’re in need and don’t let them do anything too crazy while still having fun!

About: Various animal care experience including past training in pet CPR and First Aid. I've also been a professional petsitter for a small business before, and have owned dogs all of my life. I want clients, both animal and human, to feel well-cared for and I do that with dedicated service and thorough communication. Building relationships between myself and the animals as well as the people are really important to me. My focus is to understand and attend to each animal and family's unique needs and goals. I love being a part of a pack and to make sure the care and environment is as harmonious as possible. I'd love to get to know your pets and to be able to show you my devotion to animal care. I'm currently pretty available on Saturdays and Sundays. I'd love to work with clients who are looking for drop-ins and/or walks anytime during the day and evening. For clients' pets I want to work with what helps keep their routine and services their needs. For my own dog who is highly active and a senior, I work with physical therapy exercises for his mobility, training games learned from Pawsitive Canine, and puzzle toys + throwing the ball.

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and my love for animals has only grown stronger over the years. I genuinely care about their well-being—both yours and my own. I treat every pet like family and do my best to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Given the chance, I’m confident your pets will feel right at home with me. I work full-time for the Department of Corrections, but that doesn’t get in the way of providing quality care. I'm available for morning and evening visits, and I can usually stop in during lunch—especially for multi-day stays. If I’m staying in your home to care for your pet, my schedule won’t be an issue at all. I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for the entire time. I am pretty flexible as long as its within reason. I always let my animals out when ever I have the opportunity. If you prefer your animal in doors more that is fine too. Again it's up to you I keep a constant eye on food and water levels as well as any strange behavior a pet my display etc. Illness or maybe they ate something they shouldnt have.

Rachael G.
Star Sitter

“I might be biased, but I got to see firsthand just how incredible Rachael is with animals. She treats each dog with the same love, patience, and attention she gives our own. She’s the kind of person who remembers every pup’s quirks, notices when something’s off, and genuinely cares about their happiness and well-being. I’ve seen her go out of her way to make sure each dog has the best experience — whether it’s adjusting routes for comfort, bringing extra treats, or just offering a calm presence for nervous pups. It’s more than just a job for her — it’s something she truly loves doing. If you’re lucky enough to have Rachael walk your dog, you’re in the best hands possible.”

Kira N.
“Kira has grown up around dogs her whole life, and she loves them all immensely. There is never as big a smile on her face as when she comes home and sees her dogs. She loves all dogs, and is passionate about spending time with them and making sure they are happy. She does this with other peoples’ dogs as well as her own. Kira will be a great dog sitter because you will never find someone who cares about your dogs as much as she does!”

Brooke L.
“Brooke has been amazing for my dog Finn! Finn is a one year old boarder collie/lab mix, so he has lots of energy. Brooke has always been on time and helpful in taking him out for walks during the day, and she feeds him as well if I'm out later than expected. She replies promptly and updates me throughout the day. I fully trust her with my dog and would highly recommend her for any animal needs!”

Veronique M.Star Sitter

“Quick to respond and took great care of our pup. Thank you!”

Alesha M.

“When I needed a responsible and enthusiastic sitter for my two dogs, Alesha was the one who answered my call. I travel for work often and have always worried leaving my pups in a strangers care. Since finding Alesha I haven’t had to scramble for a caregiver; now she’s my go to gal! Alesha is compassionate and always excited to see my dogs. Pongo and Gloria are always excited to see her too! As rescues they can be shy and timid around new people, but Alesha was able to befriend them instantly with lots of walks, tug of war, and tummy rubs. She excels at giving them the love and attention they need. Alesha is open and easy to talk to, and I am comfortable welcoming her into my home while I’m away. Every experience with her is a positive one. I recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for a sitter or a walker! I plan on using her for the foreseeable future and beyond!”
