This was my first time using Rover, or any pet-sitting service for that matter, so obviously I had apprehensions (pretty private individual, yadda yadda). Jana was perfect. She came and met the two clouds a couple of days before the trip and set expectations clearly. Super-communicative and responsive, even when I changed the plan around at the last second (sorry again, btw). More importantly, the daily check-in photos of the cats was, unexpectedly, a huge bright spot in the days I was out - they were grateful for the company and now I'm suspicious they actually prefer her around over me.”

About: I love dogs and being outdoors with them. I’m a hiker and love to walk dogs on the nearby trails or even around the neighborhood. I have our own dogs but due to living in an apartment they live with my mother in law. I currently work from home, so walking your dog would definitely give me the break I need and to refresh. That makes for a fun break :) We go for walks on the nearby trails, we have playtime in the park and treats. They have their favorite toys and quiet place to rest.
About: While you're away, we will play in a huge, fenced back yard, nap in a dog pile in cool shade on the patio, and we will definitely have arts and crafts days. I'm guessing your dog is a better artist than you realize. ;) I'm an illustrator who works from home. I have a dog, a cat, and a parrot who are my family. All of us love small to medium dog visitors. Your dog will get all the love and attention I give my own. If it's pet care in your home you need, then know that early morning drop-in visits are no problem, and if you have other animals, that's fine. I have many years' experience with dogs, cats, alpacas, sheep, chickens, ducks, reptiles, and others. Geriatric and special needs pets are welcome. Leave their care to me, and have peace of mind knowing that even though they will miss you, they will be safe and happy while you're away.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for the last 15 years. I have two dogs of my own who I’ve raised since they were puppies. And I had seven cats growing up. I will take fantastic care of your pets and make sure your house is clean. With my work schedule, I am able to care for pets in the early morning, at lunch, and in the evening. Flexible weekends. Time for long walks and cuddle time daily. Separate room for pets if they need to be kept apart, grassy lawn, easy access to trails for hikes. Spend as much time as possible with pets while their owners are gone to make sure they feel loved and care for.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and i’ve had many different breeds. I was the neighborhood dog walker when I was in middle school. I am working a part time job and I am in school but I am able to walk your dog every 3-4 hours during the week I have a fenced in yard for my dog and usually let him outside every hour or so. I also feed him dry food in the morning and wet and dry food at night
