About: Please only Tacoma inquiries. I live in Stadium and drive a jeep so far distances are not ideal. :) I have had dogs in my life since I was born. I have volunteered with the humane society for years and also foster for local rescues. I love dogs and I want many but while I am finishing my masters and substitute teaching I feel this is the best thing for me! I have dog sat puppies, seniors, all types of breeds, and spoiled grumpy dogs! I am not from Washington so I have no family for the holidays and would love to fill my house with another dog or two! I currently substitute teach so I have a flexible schedule, all the holidays off and I have no plans on going anywhere! If it is during non holiday times, I leave my apt at around 730 and come home around 430. I live in a fourplex and go on lots of walks, long walks, and walks to the park that is close by! Lots of walks!

“Rachel is fantastic! Super thorough, responsive, punctual and generally did such a great job with both our pups. Helps to make you still feel close to your dogs while you’re away!”

“Lydia watched both my cat and dog over a holiday weekend. Great communication, sent me pictures every day. Very thankful to have someone look after them while I was away. Highly recommend!”

“Kallie did an amazing job watching our pups! She was so helpful, incredibly flexible and accommodating, and very responsive with lots of pictures of their playtime together. Would highly recommend her to anyone and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Renee went above and beyond to make sure our dog was happy, fed, and well-exercised over the span of 4 days while we were out of town. We loved the photos and details she provided. Looking forward to scheduling with her again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs ever since my aunt asked to housesit when I was 14, and I've been doing it since. I have cleaned, trained, gave medicine, and treated dogs for a while. I make sure that everything is do is good for both you and the dog, and if you need me to do the basics, I do the extra mile. Mostly I do whatever I can and need to make sure both you and your dog or animal is happy with my service. I'm currently working part time at a deli, but I always have time for my dog and helping my neighbors with their pets, I've been trained with lizards, bunnies, cats, and of course dogs, I have housesit for others every since I was 14 and I always make sure to go above and beyond. I have taken care of puppies, older dogs, dogs that are bigger then me, and dogs that have a record of biting others. I live to work and serve since I just love animals. We have a decent backyard for our golden retriever/yellow lab mix, he gets to run and go outside whenever he needs due to the doggy door I set up during the first couple months of having him when he was a puppy.

“Another great visit/potty break with our two rescues (one with heightened anxiety)! Christina is very communicative and sweet with our two dogs. Will hope to hire again for future check ins and/or overnight house sits.”

“Rebecca was amazing with our Doberman and Goldendoodle. She took the time to play fetch with them, cuddles , and give them the care they need. I will definitely use Rebecca in the future. She is a true animal lover.”

About: Hello, I’m Alisha. I think it’s safe to say I have the best job in the entire world. Dogs have always been a part of my life & now I get to spend my days loving on them. I have decades of experience with dog sitting, boarding and walking. As well as experience with a large variety of breeds. This is my fulltime job which means I have an open, flexible schedule to accommodate your needs! During our time together, your pup will be treated just as my own and loved on a bunch! Our daily schedule varies each day depending on housesits, pack walks, solo walks, drop-ins, or snifaris scheduled! You’ll find us either near the waterfront, a local park or a forest for a pack walk! Housesits consist of me either sleeping in your home or doing drop ins through out the day, starting in the early morning & ending late in the evening. If I sleep there, I usually arrive around 7pm-9pm and am there until 7am-9am, with 1-2 drop ins during the day depending on pups bathroom & food needs. Weekends I’m usually there longer in the mornings as I have less walks & drop ins scheduled. During the day, I am picking up, dropping off, dropping in walking and visiting pups & cats!

About: Animals are the most loyal and loving creatures to walk this earth, and its only fair that we treat them with the same care and love! I have two furry ones of my own, and it is my goal to care for yours as much as I do mine! My personal pet care experience started 7 years ago when we found two newborn stray kittens, and I decided to take them in to care for them! I would wake up ever few hours at night to bottle feed them and help them use the bathroom. After they turned 8 weeks I was supposed to give them away, but couldn’t bring myself to do it! It is important for us to make this less of a job & more like you have a friend that is taking care of your furry loved ones! I currently work part-time and am gone for 6+ hours two days a week. Life is pretty busy with kids & work so we will only be accepting dogs who fit more into our lifestyle & are more easy going. We have found it difficult to care for high energy dogs or dogs who need our attention 24/7. Dogs will go between being inside and outside throughout the day. We have a fenced backyard & a dog of our own to keep guest doggies company. Our dog is very gentle and gets along with all dogs. All dogs including our own sleep in our fully insulated garage (on their beds, of course). If we are going to be outside the home for more than a few hours, we have the dogs stay in our fully fenced backyard so they have more space to roam & play with the other doggies or in our garage/crate!

About: I love animals, especially dogs. We have 2 a black labradoodle-Hudson and black lab-Hilda. Both of them LOVE all other dogs, and always happy to have any company on walks or over night stays. I do doggy daycare 2-3x a week taking a group of pups to Edgewood to run around on 5 acres at my parents property. Fenced and no fenced areas, so any dog is safe having fun running around getting their energy out and playing with friends 🐶🐾🐕🐕🦺 For walks, I can do a standard walk or run if you would like your dog to have more of a workout. I live in a great neighborhood so would be happy to walk them around here or closer to home. I have dog sat and done regularly scheduled walks in the past. I love going to the dog park so I can take the dog with me to go there if they have a lot of energy and like that experience. I can also help with giving medicine, schedule feedings etc. I work full time remote from home so happy to work with clients on a schedule with them based on dog/animal needs. I an up early and off in the mid afternoon to go for runs or long walks with my pup (and yours too 😊) I have a small fenced yard they can hang out in. Have a big 2 bedroom apartment with my pup so shared space for all of us Also have a family 5 acre property to take the pups to in order to get out energy if needed.

About: Hi, I’m Em! I’m a vet assistant with over 10 years of experience caring for animals in clinics, on farms, a zoo, and in rescues. I’ve fostered more than 50 puppies and kittens, providing around the clock care from birth to adoption. Whether it’s a senior dog, a shy cat, or a bouncy pup, I tailor my care to each pet’s needs. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities! I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree online, which gives me a flexible schedule. I’m able to tailor my availability to meet your pet’s needs- including daytime walks, evening visits, and weekend care I prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort above all else. Whether in your home or out on a walk, I create a calm, secure environment where pets feel relaxed and loved. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, carefully monitoring their behavior and surroundings to prevent any risks. With my years of experience in veterinary care, I understand how important trust is- both between you and me, and between me and your furry family member. I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive care that keeps your pet happy, healthy, and safe every step of the way.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life, and pets have always been part of my family. Right now, we share our home with a wonderful dog, as well as fish and axolotls. Over the years, I’ve also had cats and other pets, so I understand the different kinds of attention and care each animal needs. When looking after pets, I focus on safety, consistency, and comfort. I know how important it is for them to feel secure and cared for while their people are away. I treat every pet like part of my own family and always aim to provide the same love and respect I give my own animals. I offer flexible scheduling for dog walks and drop-in visits. Whether you need regular daily walks, quick potty breaks, or occasional check-ins, I’ll work with you to create a routine that keeps your pets happy and comfortable. I’m dependable and punctual, and I make sure each visit is focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s exercise, playtime, feeding, or just a little extra love. Clear communication is important to me, so you’ll always know when I’m coming and how your pets are doing. I take both pet safety and home security very seriously. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own—doors are always locked, routines are followed carefully, and your space is left just as I found it. I’m comfortable working independently and know how important it is for you to feel at ease while you’re away. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pets are doing. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pets are happy, safe, and cared for—and that your home is secure until you return.

“Mary is great with animals! She treats her pup like family and always provides him with the best of care. She is caring and loving and is great with all animals.”

Emily T.
“I have known Emily for many years. She loves every type of animal. My personal experience with her was as a pet sitter for my cat Archie. He was abandoned by his mother after birth and Emily bottle-fed him until he was old enough to have kitten food. She then talked me into adopting him. I had never had a cat before and I fell in love with him. She has watched him in my home on several occasions when I was out of town. I miss her and have not left him with anyone else. He now travels with me. Joan K”
