“We felt at peace with Ellie watching Jax while we were away on a family vacation. We got great pictures and updates throughout the trip. Jax looked like he was having a great time! Will definitely continue to use Ellie’s dog sitting services for any futures trips!”

“Lutisa was amazing! I booked a last minute stay for my 5 month old puppy. She was great at communicating and handling all of his energy. When I had to extend my stay by a night she worked with me and made sure my pup was taken care of. I was worried leaving him but she made sure he was taken care of an having a blast. He was exhausted when he got home from playing and running so much. I cannot thank and recommend Lutisa enough!”

“Holly was an amazing host. Our 10 month old doodle was well cared for and happy. Holly shared daily updates and was always available whenever I texted. I really appreciate Holly's whole family for taking such great care of Gus.”

“Pat took amazing care of our 2 dogs! She took the time to make them comfortable in her home, sent us pictures and updates throughout the week, and gave them plenty of love and attention!”

About: Hi there! I’m Hannah, a lifelong animal lover who enjoys caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. If my calendar shows I am unavailable, please go ahead and send a request anyway. I am unable to block off time periods of the day, so while I may be busy in the morning, I may be free that evening, and vice versa. Please note that I am moving to Winston Salem at the end of July/beginning of August. Therefore, any requests sent before then, I may not be available for. Drop in visits/walks - I work from home M-F 8-5. I typically can do my drop-in visits in the early morning, on my lunch break, and evenings after work. I can be flexible, though if another time is needed. Just let me know! House sitting - House sitting is similar to my drop-in visits. Breakfast/potty in the morning, lunchtime potty break, and then I'll head to your home after work to spend the evening/overnight with your pet. Please note, I do have a dog of my own who would likely come with me in the evenings for overnight. She is crate/potty trained and always looking for a new friend to play with - even cats! (i have two cats of my own that she grew up with). If you would prefer my dog to not come, thats ok too. Please allow the flexibility to go back and forth to ensure she can potty as well. Boarding - As mentioned above, I do work from home. If you'd like your pet to stay at my home, I can ensure they have consistent, around-the-clock care. I do have a two-story home with baby gates throughout and four bedrooms. If you'd like your pet not to interact with mine, that can be arranged. I treat every pet like family—because they are! Whether your pet loves playtime, belly rubs, long walks, or quiet snuggles, I tailor every visit to their unique needs and personality. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and always attentive to your pet’s well-being. Whether you’re heading out of town or just need a helping hand, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels loved and safe while you’re away. Let’s set up a meet & greet—I’d love to learn more about your pet! I am currently working full time and also a full time student. However, I got pretty lucky and do both fully remote which gives me the freedom to do other things such as pet sitting. If my calendar shows I am unavailable, please go ahead and send a request anyway. I am unable to block off time periods of the day, so while I may be busy in the morning, I may be free that evening, and vice versa. PLEASE NOTE **** I do have a dog of my own. If you are requesting a house sitting stay, please keep in mind that I will need to either come and go from your home to care for my own dog or have my dog with me during the house sitting stay. She is friendly with other dogs, cats, and is crate/potty trained. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely and keep their routine as normal as possible—whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, giving medications, or making time for their favorite games and walks.
“This was my first time using Erica. She kept my dog for 5 days. Erica was amazing. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog right after our meet & greet. She sent pictures a few times everyday, and I could tell my dog was having a great time, was happy, and was being well taken care of. It also gave me a lot of comfort knowing my dog was being well cared for. I would highly recommend her. I will definitely use her again. Thank you again Erica and thank you for Lexi's gift bag and note. That was very thoughtful. Van & Lexi.”

“Andrea is the BEST! She took such good care of Sophie, cooking her chicken and rice during her few days of illness. Because of Andrea's excellent care I didn't have to cut my vacation short. When I picked her up she was happy, healthy, clean and smelled so good! Andrea even gave her a bath when she soiled on herself.”

“Maribel was a fabulous sitter and was very engaged in the process. We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with her and will definitely use her in the future. We loved the updates and pictures she sent while we were away.”

“Stephanie, Matt & their boys are amazing. Jake was very happy their while we were in the Spain & Italy for 18 days. They made him feel at home. I don't think he wanted to leave but did. Was Lost for a couple of days without the boys and dogs to play with. Thank you all so much. Highly recommend them to take great care of our Jake!”

“Tim and Samantha were wonderful. They took such good care of my dog treating her like their own family. Very kind and kept me updated with pictures during her stay. I will definitely use them again!”

“First time with Elizabeth. Pups seemed happy staying with her. One of them was even dealing with an infection and she was great taking care of him. Would be happy to have them stay with her again. Only wish she sent more frequent photos, but I am obsessed with my pups!”

“This lady has become apart of the family. Our two dogs can be much to deal with at times but Gina does such a great job with them. They are so happy staying with her and I wouldn't trust anyone else. She doesn't just look after the dogs, she goes the extra mile to make sure they feel at home. If you are considering boarding she is the way to go. So glad we have such a wonderful person taking care of our babies”

“We used Ashley three times for our Golden Retriever. There is a reason why we keep coming back to her -- she is a great sitter! We appreciate that our Golden is assimilated into her family and that her needs are well met. It is a great experience working with Ashley.”

“I’m so glad we were able to find Amanda. She welcomed my Rottweiler as one of her own when we needed a last minute dog sitter. She communicated greatly the 4 days she had her by texting and sending me videos to ensure me that my big baby was enjoying herself. I definitely recommend her and will be using her for future vacations!!”

“Thank you for taking care of Cleo! You can tell that Jessica is very attentive to the pets she takes care of. She returned all of the items we sent her with and they all came back cleaned! Very amazed. Definitely recommend to book with her and we will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“Channon was so great. We left our 75 lb Pyrenees mix with Channon for two nights. Channon's dog Bizzy was the perfect playmate for our pup! She did a great job caring for him, sharing any concerns she had, and sending a video or two. We could tell that our pup was having a great time and felt very comfortable. Thank you Channon!!”

“Im so happy I was able to find Nelcy last minute to watch my dog Ally. The meet and greet was perfect and Ally went right into play mode. I knew that she was going to be in good hands and really enjoy someone taking care of my dog like they're part of the family. Loved the updates and pictures as well. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Carrie and her family are amazing! She kept us updated with photos and all of Harleys activities. I couldn’t have found a better family for him to spend time with. He loves the children and the children loves him. We wanted him to be in an environment similar to our home and found that here with Carrie. Thank you so much! If I ever need help again, I’m always going to bring him here. She gave him a bath and even dried him up for us. He certainly was spoiled!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rural Hall
Nick is absolutely incredible! This was the very first time our dogs, Maverick and Cowboy, have ever stayed away from home, so we were naturally a bit nervous about leaving them. Nick completely eased our minds. He was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive to both of them as they adjusted to a new environment. He kept us updated, showed them so much love, and treated them like his own. We are so grateful for his wonderful care and will definitely be trusting him with Maverick and Cowboy again in the future. Highly recommended!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
