Knox is a senior dog, so he requires a lot of attention & love due to his high anxiety. He also needed to take medicine on a daily basis. Ellie & Karson were able to administer the medicine & take Knox on a walk each day! He was very comfortable in their home as I was out of town for a work trip. Definitely highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a huge love for animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Dobermans and everything in between. I’m a passionate animal lover and advocate, and I’ve also fostered dogs through rescues. Fostering has given me a special place in my heart for fearful, shy, anxious, and misunderstood dogs. On my weekends off, I have 5 days off in a row, which is when I’m available for boarding. My availability is therefore every other week, making me a great fit for families looking for care during weekend getaways, short trips, or extended weekends. I provide a safe, loving, home-based environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. I have a large fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time and play, and I keep the number of boarding dogs limited so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. As a registered nurse, I’m attentive to changes in behavior and comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications, and responding appropriately if an unexpected situation arises. I also have experience and knowledge in canine CPR and emergency first aid. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, feeding schedule, medications, and comfort level before their stay. I have a special soft spot for fearful and anxious dogs and believe patience and a calm environment are essential.

About: My family had two aging beagles I helped care for that eventually passed away. They both required much attention and medication. Any time my family members or friends need someone to watch their dog, they ask me. I have experience working with smaller sized dogs and much bigger dogs. I have also worked at a humane society. I just graduated from grad school so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies and will make sure they are happy and healthy! I will make sure they go to the bathroom regularly, make sure they get plenty of exercise/walks, make sure they are well fed, and make sure they are overall safe and comfortable. It is my job to make sure your fur baby is happy! If using boarding services, my apartment complex is very pet friendly and has a great dog park!

About: As a first responder, I’m very comfortable around K9s and understand the importance of patience, consistency, awareness, and responsible handling around animals. I also have two dogs of my own, Millie, a Vizsla, and Aksel, a German Shepherd. I’ve had Millie her entire life, and Aksel came to us as a rescue about a year ago. When we first brought Aksel home, he needed extra patience, structure, and training, and we’ve worked with him consistently to help him become the happy, well-tempered dog he is today. I genuinely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, working with them, and helping them learn. I work as a first responder, so my schedule is different from a traditional Monday–Friday schedule. I have set days off that allow me to offer pet care, and I primarily schedule boarding on my days off so I can give your pet plenty of attention and supervision. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits when my schedule allows. I keep my availability updated and am happy to communicate ahead of time to make sure your pet’s needs fit my schedule. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for exercise and play. I have two dogs of my own, a Vizsla and a German Shepherd, who are part of my household. Before boarding, I’m happy to discuss your dog’s temperament, comfort level, and how they do around other dogs. I can use indoor movable pet gates/kennels to safely separate dogs when needed, whether for feeding, rest, or simply giving them their own space. I always prioritize safety and will follow your pet’s normal routine, feeding instructions, and any special care needs.
