In addition to growing up with dogs, I have also raised several litters of AKC registered Golden Retrievers, so I truly know how to care for every aspect of a dog. About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.

I have been called the dog whisperer since I was a young child.. fast forward 15 years, I have volunteered/worked at/with lots of rescues, shelters, ran the yards at doggy daycare facilities, and have rescued/rehabilitated/fostered lots. We are available for daily stays during your vacation, summer stays, week days, etc. I’ve been pet-sitting for over 10 years, and it’s been a wonderful way for me to combine my love of animals with a flexible schedule. I'm able to spend the majority of the weekdays with them and can spend all the time on in the evenings and weekends. I'm also available to check in or stay with your animals while you are in town for vacation and need coverage for a few hours. Their safety is my top priority while you are away. I keep a good eye on them and don't like to by physically away from them for long as I know it can be a hard transition sometimes.
About: Raised my own dog and his puppy from birth, now experienced with senior care. Pet sitting is natural to me, it's not just a job. I currently have a part time job and in college. My hours vary through the week but they are set depending the season because of school. I have a senior dog, so he can either be relaxed or playful. So I can always adjust to my babies needs and I can do the same for yours!
