“Mackenzie has always watched our feisty, 7 yr old cat & she was very quickly able to warm up to our new, little Daisy! She watched the girls through the holidays & it was obvious from the photos how much they love her!”

“Andrea was great! Our 2 Kitties seemed to jive with her and both of them have tendency to be shy. It can be complicated to find our apartment sometimes and she was able to follow the instructions we left her with no problem. I would definitely recommend her services to other animal parents!”

“Brittany did an amazing job with my kitten, Kismet. She would send several updates and pictures/videos during her drop ins. I’d highly recommend her and I’m sure to book her next time!”

“Kayla was amazing to have for our 2 cats! She gave them love and treats, and was always on time. She did amazing, would certainly ask her to help again!”

“Excellent sitter incredibly caring in detail my dogs loved having her around. Also incredibly flexible after our flight was canceled. She was able to watch them an extra day so thankful to have her.”

“Crystal was absolutely amazing, as always. I hate leaving my girl, but I love knowing she’s in great hands. She has a hard time warming up to people and every photo was kisses and snuggles ❤️❤️ Not only was PK well taken care of, but so was my place. After coming home from a 9 day vacation, I felt like I was coming home to a fresh place and my solar powered tv remote was sitting in the sun getting charged. Highly recommend 💕💕💕”

“Sydney was great with my cat Oliver! I could tell he was so comfortable with her, and I really appreciated all of her updates. We look forward to using her services again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs as well as cats since I was 10 years old when I got my first pet a small dog named bandit. Since then we have welcomed two wonderful cats into our home who I took care of until I went off to college. When I started to drive I got the opportunity and trust of students and parents at my school to watch there dogs while they were out of town or on vacation. However, when I went off to college I was unable to keep at it. Until this year that is. When I was recommended by that same family to watch some other dogs that were in my area. They travel a lot for softball mostly on the weekends so it was a good fit. I am ready to now expand into new territory here on this app! I currently am a full time student at Palm beach Atlantic university. If you read this. This is your disclaimer. This is only part time and I do love it but recently people do not realize that I am only human. I have been so stressed out recently trying to please everyone but I can’t. My main job is being a student so I will not prioritize my services over my schooling. If you are booking me over a time that school is off. I may have some sort of job especially during the summer. If you want someone who will be at the house all day every day I am not the person for the job. I will be there the majority of the day but it is important to me that I spend time with my family and that I focus on my schooling too. I am going to try to build up some services in WPB this year. I will have mostly afternoon and evenings free. In the morning I have classes for the most part. It really depends on the day. I could also do the weekends. I go to college close to my home so I do travel back to my hometown Port Saint Lucy a lot. If I am going home I will block out those days in my schedule. My calendar on the app will reflect my school schedule. I look forward to meeting you! Animals are a huge part of my life at the moment. I have been house sitting , drop ins, and dog walks recently. I have decided to stop doing house sitting for any new clients because it has become too much for me. I am going to more focus on drop-ins and walks. If you welcome me into your house I will care for your animals like they were my own. It is important to me that your animals are well taken care of and I will try my best to make you happy with my services. Just know that your animals mean the world to me. And that every animal is important no matter how big or small. If you have things I could improve on or you had a good experience with me I would love you to leave a review. It really helps other pet parents who may need some guidance 😊
About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I have a 5-year-old Chorkie named Cali, so I’m very familiar with providing daily care, attention, exercise, and affection that pets need to feel safe and happy. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine since I’m a full-time dog mom. I structure my day around feeding, playtime, exercise, and regular walks with my dog, so caring for animals is something I naturally prioritize. Because of this, I’m consistent with routines and attentive to pets’ needs throughout the day. Adding pet sitting fits easily into my schedule, as I’m used to providing companionship, supervision, and active care to make sure pets stay happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I make sure pets are always supervised, kept in a clean and secure environment, and follow their normal routines as closely as possible to reduce stress. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by the owner. In a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain the pet’s familiar environment, which helps them feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. I’m attentive to behavior changes, make sure doors and gates are secure, and keep pets away from anything unsafe.
“I highly recommend Izzy and will definitely be rebooking! She was so sweet with the kitties, always on time, and had perfect communication. Finn is newly on medication and I was very nervous to leave him, but she made me feel so comfortable and had no trouble with giving him meds.”

“Ashley was great! My cat Tahiti is usually very shy, but Ashley was able to get her to come out for sniffs and pets every time she checked in. Communication was great, and she even helped me out with package pickup. Would definitely book again!”

About: Hi, I’m Jahari — a full-time college student with real-world animal care experience, both in and out of the clinic. I currently work at a veterinary office and volunteer at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, so animal care isn’t just a side gig — it’s a passion deeply rooted in my everyday life. With 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 birds of my own, I understand how important trust, patience, and personalized care are. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy, a shy senior cat, or a talkative parakeet, I adapt to every pet’s unique needs and personality. I’ve also cared for exotics and farm animals, including goats, chickens, and reptiles — so if your fur baby has feathers, scales, or hooves, they’re in experienced hands. As a full-time college student and current veterinary office employee, I’ve built a schedule that balances academic goals with my passion for animal care. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine, with early mornings, evenings, and weekends available for drop-in visits, walks, overnights, and even farm animal care. I also volunteer at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, so working with animals is not just a job — it’s part of my everyday life. With flexible class blocks and experience managing time across multiple responsibilities, I’m able to provide dependable, compassionate care without compromising the attention each pet deserves. I prefer to care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s usual routine — from feeding and walks to playtime and medication — and tailor my care to their unique personality. With experience in a veterinary office, volunteering at Loggerhead, and caring for a wide range of animals (including dogs, cats, birds, goats, and more), I provide calm, reliable, and compassionate care that helps pets feel safe while you’re away.
“Lindsey is amazing! She took such great care of my boy, Toby. I was worry-free during my trip knowing she was giving him so much love and making sure he had everything he needed. I would absolutely ask her to watch him again if needed.”

Aline was wonderful with our cat Star. She watched her for a few hours and was attentive, kind, and very easy to communicate with. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and made sure Star was comfortable and well looked after the entire time. We really appreciated her reliability and the peace of mind she gave us while we were away. I would absolutely recommend Aline to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Caitlyn went above and beyond to ensure our cats were exceptionally well cared for while we were away. She was attentive, reliable, and very professional. We came home to happy, relaxed cats and felt completely at ease knowing they were in such great hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Lizzy is terrific. She is not only very pleasant, but reliable and most important…my two cats liked her and they don’t particularly like anyone other than their mom! I had a package arrive that required refrigeration and she shot over to put it in the refrigerator. I will be calling on her again soon. Thanks again Lizzy, you’re the best! :)
Shannon is amazing! I am a repeat customer and so impressed with her patience, empathy for a skittery kitty around strangers She got Gabbie to come out of hiding and take a squeezy pouch, multiple days! Gabbie was comfortable and responsive, so Shannon has the touch! She sent lots of pictures every day

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Royal Palm Estates. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
