Banjo LOVES his afternoon walks with Ashley! She picks him up and takes him for a walk around the neighborhood. He gets his exercise and gets to check out the neighborhood. We love using Rover and Ashley while we're at work. She sends us photos from their walks and Banjo's excited face says it all!

Misty is truly amazing and really proactive with our pups. Truly a professional. We had a toenail issue during one visit and she sent me photos so I took Wolfie to the vet to get evaluated and Misty later texted to see how he was doing post-visit. The injury was his fault…chasing a squirrel and lost footing in the gravel. I know some people may find it odd to use this app but it’s legit. We receive texting and picture notifications with report cards during each visit. You won’t regret it! :-)

About: Ever since I was a child, I have been mildly obsessed with animals (insert mental image of a little kid with horses all over her bright pink shirt and a stuffed Bernes Mountain dog glued to her side). At the time, my parents were strongly against having pets. I was deeply offended by this decision, and did not understand their hands were already full with five "animals:" my four siblings and me. Eight year old Kat knew she needed to get creative and outsource her time with animals. That's when I began working on a horse farm. I spent most days cleaning stalls, feeding horses and playing with the barn cats. This was my happy place, my home away from home. It was at this time I also began dog sitting for various families throughout our neighborhood. Although I think I was more of an annoyance to the first dog I looked after (sorry Ginger), I learned to be responsible and dependable. When I moved away to college, I looked for a new way to spend time with animals and began volunteering at a local shelter. Through the shelter, I began fostering cats and dogs, gained experience feeding newborn kittens, leash training large dogs and giving medications to senior pets. I loved learning each individual's personality and finding new ways to build playful and loving relationships based on trust. I later worked as a receptionist for a fear-free veterinary clinic and was exposed to pets of all dispositions and backgrounds. I am comfortable caring for pets with various illnesses, allergies, parasites and high anxiety. TLDR: I am a long time animal lover, with over 15 years of experience working/volunteering on farms and petsitting. I am confident around animals of any age, whether hoofed, clawed, scaled or winged! I am not easily grossed out by a snotty nose, or the occasional poopy bottom and will meet your pets energy wherever they need to be met. Whether you are looking for someone to walk your jumpy puppy or be a calm companion for your shy old cat, I am a great fit! PS: Now I know you are wondering, “ But Kat, did you ever get your own dogs?” and the answer is YES! I grew up with two Westie puppies and, several years later, welcomed Kody, our rescue german shepherd/husky mix to the family. (Pictures included) I am currently between full-time jobs after recently completing a service term with AmeriCorps this fall/winter. This allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and accommodate a wide range of pet needs. I am available to provide house sitting for an additional fee or make multiple visits per day as needed. I enjoy driving which allows for consistent, attentive care tailored to each pet. Every pet parent has a different routine when it comes to caring for their pet. It is my job as the sitter to adhere as closely to this routine as possible. It can be scary having new people in your home (especially when your parents are away), and maintaining a known schedule is extremely beneficial for reducing your pet's anxiety . I also believe in clear, consistent communication with my clients, so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands and enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've raised dogs from the day they were born, and rescued them too. I've trained them - obedience and conformation - and worked with a variety of breeds. I've taken care of old dogs too, and understand the different needs between puppies and seniors. This is what I'm choosing to do for a living. My pets are part of my family, and I hope to treat yours with the same amount of care too. Whether it's a drop-in or a walk while you're at work, or watching them at your home while you're away, I look forward to giving your furry family members the care you want for them. My goal is to keep your pets comfortable and loved. If I'm house sitting, I would like to keep them to their normal schedule so they are the least disrupted by your absence. If I'm dropping in or walking them, then the goal is for them to be loved and cuddled and/or enjoy their exercise too. The goal is always happy, healthy, relaxed pets with a minimum of disruptions if their people can't be home.

Because I work from home, I am able to be with your dog all day. They’ll always have company, attention, and care throughout their stay. Pets are always taken care of in our care. About: What began as a way for my kids and I to spend time with even more animals has become a hobby and side hustle that brings me so much joy! I have had pets my whole life. All kinds. All sizes. We love having animals in this house, and they truly fill our lives with love and laughter. I a great deal of experience caring for animals, having done it for so long. Ours are truly treated like members (very spoiled members) of our family. Our two cats sun themselves on our patio and make themselves cozy everywhere in our house. I'm comfortable with particular pet diets and administering medication if necessary. With one of us working from home there’s always someone available to provide care. We really look forward to meeting your pet. We are most available for week day house sitting and day time care during the summer when school is out of session. My teenager is a 16 year old daughter really wants to be hands on with this and is a major animal lover who can't wait to help care for other's pets. I have a large yard and comfortable home. We also have a super friendly dog named Gracie who would love to hang out with your pet as well as our 2 cats, Horatio and Earnie. Like most cats, they tend to make themselves scarce around unfamiliar people, but we have many visitors of the 2 legged and 4 legged variety and they always warm up and make an appearance. Our neighborhood is great for walking and we're one street over from a park with great trails. We're very active and I love to exercise, so walks are no problem. We are all very attentive animal lovers who are ready to snuggle and play with the furry member of your family. Since my youngest child and I are home all day during the summer months we can happily offer a great deal of attention and care. We are also willing to provide a bath at the end of your pet's stay for a fee.

About: Hello! I have been taking care of pets, my own, for 17 years. I grew up with cats that were my responsibility, and am now a dog owner. I have fostered puppies and currently care for a (near) senior dog. I am pretty flexible with my schedule, and with advanced notice, I can usually meet most requests made. I do take time to travel with my dog on weekends, so I may not be available for weekend boarding. I have a room dedicated as a dog space in my home, and I have the ability to crate dogs as needed. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a tie out cord and leash for dogs that need more attention outdoors.

About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. I make sure my home is a very welcome environment for animals of all kinds. Like my husband likes to say, I want a petting zoo in life. I currently work part-time in a pawn shop and full time mom to an adorable little toddler. We love being able to be around and care for animals as much as we can. I go on holidays maybe once or twice a year so I’m always around willing to help train or even just be a companion to your furry friend while you’re away I have an open yard with plenty of space to run around. I also have crates within the house just in case they need to be crated too. I have 3 adult dogs that roam free and are very friendly, as well as 3 puppies, and a 2 cats inside my house as well too. But it’s very rare my cats will come out during the day if I’m housing a dog inside.

About: I have hands on experience with small breeds, large breeds, high energy dogs, puppies, and those who are shy or skittish. I don’t take a one size fits all approach, I adjust to each dog’s temperament, energy level, and comfort needs. Whether your dog needs structure, patience, confidence building, or just extra affection, I meet them where they are and care for them like they’re my own, and they might even learn a few new tricks along the way. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because animals are already at the center of my future. As a full-time college student working toward becoming a veterinarian, caring for pets isn’t just a side job, it’s hands on experience that strengthens my knowledge and deepens my understanding of animal behavior. I work part-time on the weekends, which keeps my weekdays flexible and open for walks, and quality time with pets. Spending time with animals is something that grounds me and genuinely brings me joy, so it never feels like “extra work.” It’s part of who I am and the career I’m building toward. When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow your instructions closely weather it be feeding schedules, walk times, medications, crate routines, or any specific house rules you have. I take time to understand your pet’s personality so I can respond calmly and confidently, whether they’re playful, shy, high energy, or more protective. I’m respectful of your space, clean up after myself and your pet, and make sure water bowls, food areas, and yard spaces stay tidy. I provide updates so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. My goal is your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own home, and you feel at ease knowing they’re in steady, caring hands.

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 5 years between general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine as a receptionist, veterinary assistant, lead technician, and practice manager. Taking care of animals and providing them with love and quality care is my life’s passion. Which is why I am now furthering my knowledge and care for animals through school to get my RVT license. I am fear free certified as I believe with fearfully anxious or aggressive pets a softer, more considerate approach works best I am currently looking for part time work to fit outside of my full time job to help pay for my schooling. I am available every morning/early mornings, every night later at night, and almost all holidays. I’m very physically active so a job where I’m active with animals fits great into my personal physical requirements With a set care plan established with the owners based off the pets needs and wants. Always though staying attentive to the pet and engaging with quality time wether that looks like indoor playtime, an outdoor walk, or some cuddle
